Enjoyed our stay

The home was beautiful and plenty of space. The hill down to the lake was a struggle. Thank goodness for the golf cart. The 3 dogs next door visit often. The boat traffic kept the fish from biting. Quiet and relaxing. Will stay again.

Charming lakeside retreat!

This property was everything we hoped for. It looked just like the pictures, was right on the water, and had all the amenities for a perfect home away from home: kayaks, water toys, full service kitchen with dishwasher, fire pit, even a golf cart! It was right on the lake, so water access from the dock was excellent. Nice quiet area. We even saw fireflies at dusk! Definitely recommend this for anyone looking to get away from it all.

Very Nice

The house was accurately advertised. The owner has provided lots of nice touches such as snacks, tons of Keurig pods, aluminum foil, spices, body washes, etc. There was even bacon, eggs, butter, orange juice, and coke in the fridge when we arrived (not sure if that was from the owner or the previous renters, but was so nice!). Getting from the house down to the dock and back might be a challenge for small children or elderly folks, which may be something for some folks to consider. We enjoyed the weekend.

The house was equipped with everything, You really don’t need to bring any essentials. The chairs (wooden)at the dock are very old and not too sturdy. Lots of spider webs down at dock. Overall, we had a blast!!!

Awesome property

Extremely well maintained property. Quiet waterfront location on a small cove. Nicely decorated & furnished. Kitchen has everything you need to prepare any meal you want. Plenty of flatware & tableware. Robert left a few items to get you started including water, chips, coffee & oatmeal. Every spice you need is also there. Simple & easy booking procedure. Short business/ family trip

We loved staying at this cute home. The beds were comfortable with soft sheets and towels. Chips and water were there when we arrived, which the kids promptly found and devoured. The home is easy to find and the host provides great recommendations for the area. The giant bean bag was a hit with the kids as well. Would love to come back when the weather is a little warmer. Enjoyed sitting in the swing out on the dock, listening to the fish jump.

Great little lake house

We stayed here fr a long weekend. 7 of us total, 2 adults and 5 kids ages 4-13. The property was very clean and the hosts supplied everything we needed! Even snacks and some drinks in the fridge. The back porch and dock were great for everyone to enjoy. A perfect places to swim and fish but still close enough to go into town and explore the historic sites. Definitely the perfect family vacation house!

Excellent amenities ! Our hosts Chris and Tia were super going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Can't Wait to Go Back!!!

This place was PERFECT!!! The space was great - perfect for family. Just enough space to be together but private space too. The amenities were great - lots of time spent on the decks doing absolutely nothing. A little kayaking. The location was great - close enough to go into town or get whatever you need, but also off-the-grid. The owners thought of everything - games, food, wine, charging stations for devices, loads of comfy seating. We really can't wait to go back - just longer next time!!!!

Great getaway

We felt so welcome upon arrival at the Lake Sinclair Haven. The home is incredibly inviting and the hosts left many refreshments that were very thoughtful. We couldn’t have asked for anything else! We enjoyed each night at the fire pit and the outdoor deck space was comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and again the refreshments were above and beyond any VRBO rental. My son (2 years old) loved playing with the blocks, but there was plenty of other games for all ages. During our time, we stayed at the property because of how at home we felt. Thank you again for helping make family memories!

Wonderful time

We had a great time at this property! We especially loved the fireplace by the water, the swinging benches, and the beautiful lake view! A few things/recommendations to note: My family was very cautious using the stairs down to the lake…it’s very steep and has some rickety/old wooden steps - it’s especially dangerous at night because there’s limited lighting! Could be very easy to fall. Some family members mentioned one of the bedrooms had a “donut” bed. But otherwise, the rest of us slept well. We also thought more seating in the living room would’ve be nice as a family of 6 adults. We all couldn’t lounge in the living room together. So more seating would be nice. BUT, we really loved and appreciated the wine, chocolates, and stocked kitchen (I mean…eggs, milk, bacon, water bottles, oatmeal, chips, etc!) provided when we arrived. Karaoke machine was a fun touch. Communication with owner was awesome and they were willing to answer any questions we had. Overall, we would recommend to others, and would come back again in the summer when it’s warmer and we can kayak! :)
