Designed as a rebuttal to the generic lifeless homes so common on vacation rental sites, Galactic Oasis 1966 was created to feel like a breathing functioning home in the year 1966 -- while still offering all the modern amenities (and more) of a luxury STVR today. Explore the "lives" of the fictional house residents -- Air Force test pilot Colonel Lance T. Trident and his family -- as he works with NASA to prepare for the first attempted Moon landing in the year 1966, . Guests are encouraged to open drawers and cabinets and reveal the story behind the (fictional) house residents. Old magazines, viewfinders, scrapbooks, diaries, and other historical family "easter-eggs" are tucked away throughout the house awaiting curious guest discovery!

Each room boasts unbelievable custom design, art, woodwork, and lighting handmade exclusively for this project by Wander founders, Austin and Kila.
