Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. Come and enjoy the wonder of our 14-acre private woodland reserve. You will find wildlife, hiking, waterfalls, and a clear sky full of stars! Our home is located centrally in the Finger Lakes Wine Region with only a 15 minute drive to Watkins Glen and Corning, NY. Enjoy the convenience of our location with the peace and quiet of a country location!

We highly encourage all our guests to get travelers insurance. This will cover you for any unexpected changes to your travel plans!

A Perfect Getaway

We stayed here for my sister’s bachelorette and all of us absolutely loved the house! The back room was perfect for our arts and crafts night, I loved the layout of the house, and everyone was so comfy here. It rained both nights so we weren’t able to enjoy the fire pit, but we definitely plan to go back! This was the perfect place for us!

Very Clean and beautiful home in quiet peaceful setting

The home was beautiful and very clean and neat in a delightful quiet setting. There was a lovely back patio with a fire pit as well as a peaceful front porch to sit and have morning coffee on. We also enjoyed sitting in the screened in sun porch to watch the rain. it was an easy drive to Watkins Glen State park as well as the town of Watkins Glen and Seneca Lake. Unfortunately we arrived during a horrendous thunderstorm to no power that day and into the next. We had to cut our trip short, but the owner was gracious enough to refund our money. We would love to try our trip to this lovely home again sometime in the future, and we would highly recommend it to fellow travelers.

Waterfalls Galore

We used this listing as a home base & it was perfect. A short drive to multiple waterfalls. My kiddos enjoyed all the games & space to run around outside. Thank you!

wonderful getaway!

We had a great stay at this large, comfortable house in the Finger Lakes. The location was ideal, only 15 minutes to Watkins Glen and 15 minutes to the Corning Glass Museum. The house itself had plenty of space for 2 parents, 2 kids, plus a friend visiting with us. There are multiple common areas to hang out, including a nice patio and fire pit area. I only wish there was a door to the basement sleeping area where my kids stayed, so that the adults hanging out upstairs after bedtime didn't have to whisper. :)

Charming, private getaway!

Such a charming home! The host was very detailed, and thoughtful. Was just outside of town, very secluded, yet close to Watkins Glen and other areas.

Great quiet place to stay

The house was very clean and one of the best stocked houses we have ever stayed in! We brought everything we needed but forgot a couple of things and found the owner or other guests had left things. We did the same and left a few things behind for the next guests. The house was spacious and the area very quiet so a wonderful get away from the city. Watkins Glen was not far away and a beautiful place for a hike and plenty of wineries to enjoy up and down the lake. There is a nice woman down the road that sells some really great cheese and we had the pleasure of talking with her for a while. Overall i would definitely stay here again!

Labor Day Weekend Stay

The house was immaculate with all the comforts of home. Bed was extremely comfortable, nice quiet neighborhood, with comfortable patio for eating outdoors and listening and watching the wildlife. And the information about local hiking areas or restaurants is useful for folks visiting from out of town. Would definitely consider staying here again on another trip to Watkins Glen.

Lovely Stay

Great place to hang out with friends, enjoy the finger lakes, and spend a nice peaceful evening.The place was well equipped with lots of supplies and towels. The Internet was quite spotty, but I didn't really care because I was there to spend time with friends. The only thing I would add is a hot tub in the backyard and an update from wallpaper to paint in the bathroom and kitchen :)

House is very spacious, super clean, has just about everything you will need, lots of nice touches - info about what to do locally, bathroom and kitchen items in case u forgot anything, quick response to questions, would absolutely stay here again!

Country bliss

Our stay was better than the description, clean beautiful area. 15 minutes to Watkins Glen. Accurate description of country family home, you feel like you’re home, but you’re still close enough to town for excitement if needed. Our host was easy to gain access to if needed, but very efficient with checking in and checking out. Will definitely stay again.

Very nice

Spent a few days with friends at out annual gathering. House was very clean and nicely equipped. Especially enjoyed sitting around a fire at night. Beds were comfortable. Area was very quiet.

Fabulous fall getaway

The house was easy to find. It was in good condition and very clean. It was one of the best supplied houses we've rented.The bed was comfortable and the contact person responsive. The internet went out but was restored shortly after we notified the contact person of the problem.

A Lot Like Home But Another Location!

Surprised to find a lot of things similar to my house down to the front welcome mat. Not quite a resort but a nice homey place to stay located between Corning and the wine trail which is what I wanted. My wife turned up sick so I continued on myself since we paid in advance. I was able to fish locally, pick up the glass pumpkin she wanted which they were out of prior years since we went too late in the season, and traveled up to Belhurst castle for lunch and to pick up some of my wife’s favorite whines! Bad joke. Even stopped at a friends house around Geneva. I’d recommend the house depending on what your goals are. For us it worked. Thanks

Great stay

The property was extremely comfortable and well equipt. The owner is very attentive to ensure you have everything you need, even if you forgot something. The house was clean and comfortable and we had a great family girls weekend!

Home Away From Home

Thank you so much for opening up your home. If you are looking for a very peaceful quiet place to stay this is it. Very conveniently located near Corning, Watkins Glen, Horseheads, and Elmira. We had everything we needed to feel like home. Lots of space for 6 adults to stay. Great fire pit are out back and patio to relax and have coffee in the evenings and mornings. Definitely look at booking here again when we go back home to visit.

Lovely Home with Lots of Extras

The home is comfortable and lots of space for a family. The outdoor fire pit had all things you needed. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils plus small appliances. Linens were fresh and the house amazingly clean. Thanks for the wonderful special touches.

Amazing house and location

The stay was excellent. The house was clean, modernized, and a great mix of being remote while also super close to Watkins Glen and other towns. We loved our stay and would stay here again.
