This cozy, two-story gambrel roof cabin – located in the popular Moonridge community south of Big Bear – offers guests a warm, inviting, hygge-like retreat with modern accommodations and amenities, whether you’re looking for a wilderness getaway or a weekend party pad.

The lodge is furnished in mid-century modern in eye-soothing earth tones. The upper floor provides sleeping arrangements for everyone. Both bedrooms feature room dimming drapes, ceiling fans, and flatscreen TVs. A heated bathroom takes the chill off tiles in cold mornings. The living room features a wood beam ceiling and a gas fireplace. Cozy up with a loved one and stream a movie, or kick off your shoes and curl up with a good book. Enjoy a bit of nostalgia with a Nintendo retro game console. Kick back with a game of darts or a round of Monopoly. The dining table boasts the neat trick of flipping into a Ping-Pong or pool table. The fully-equipped kitchen lets you whip up thick hearty stews for cold winter nights or a steamy mug of pumpkin spice for nippy mornings in the fall. In the spring and summer months, fire up the barbeque grill by the veranda deck flanked by ironwood, pine, and oak trees.

Once you and your family are ready to venture outdoors, you can take a brisk half-hour walk or a short five-minute drive (there’s off-street parking in the fully-fenced yard for two vehicles) to the lake and marinas, shopping centers, restaurants, The Village, Snow Summit resort, or to the other year-long attractions Big Bear has to offer. Moonridge is also home to Bear Mountain Ski Resort, Bear Mountain Golf Course, Big Bear Alpine Zoo, and the Moonridge Corridor. Outdoor enthusiasts will find endless activities here in all seasons, whether skiing or snowboarding in the cooler months; or golfing, hiking, mountain biking, or off-roading in warmer weather.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
