Everything was perfect. The view, proximity to Princeville and Poipu, comfort of beds, A.C, start up supplies, communication, ease of getting to the beach, and cleanliness were all spot on. I couldn’t improve on this in any way

Second time

This is the second time we’ve stayed at this property. The first time was in 2021 just after lockdown ended. The condo is just as lovely as we remembered. You can’t be walking out to the lanai and having the ocean in front of you. We basically could sit near the ocean or sit on the porch under the shade and enjoy the view. There was an issue with one of the bathrooms, but the property manager was responsive, and the problem was taken care of. If you’re looking for a great place to stay on Kauai, that is right at the ocean, look no further than this place.

Fabulous location!

There are not enough superlatives to describe this condo, resort grounds, swimming pool and proximity to the ocean!! The king bed is very comfortable and we only needed the AC for 3 nights during our 3 week visit. We rented bikes and rode the gentle Kapa'a bike path, which mostly borders the ocean, every day. We return home renewed by the sun, the oceanic orchestra, and the peacefulness of this place. We might even miss the ubiquitous wild chickens of Kauai!

Perfekt place to relax on hawaii

Simply amazing. The beautiful beach was steps away, everything had been thoughtfully provided for in this lovely condo, instructions and communication were excellent, and nearby restaurants and things to do abounded. The only bad thing was having to leave.

Pics don’t do justice to how great this place is

The host made the stay very pleasant for us. The property was neat and clean with stocked kitchen. There’s A/c and fan in the bedroom that helps with the humid daytime weather. Trade winds post sunset makes the weather pleasant inside the house though. If we visit Kauai again, we would definitely stay here. 5/5 totally. Amenities - 20 steps to the beach, central location to North and South beaches (1hr each), great food nearby, close to Safeway, Long Drugs/CVS, close to airport, Costco.

The perfect setting on Kauai

I was actually considering giving a bad review so this unit wouldn't be booked!!!!! Sharon is wonderful to deal with, and everything was even better than it looked on VRBO! Incredible setting, best location in the complex, amazing ocean sounds! The unit is so comfortable, great bed and bedding (which is important to me!). We loved that there were 2 bathrooms as my husband is an early riser, and I am not. He didn't have to come in the bedroom if I was asleep! We booked our 3 weeks for next year while we were here so we wouldn't miss out...most relaxing vacation ever!

Wow - This is really beachfront

We absolutely loved the condo. It was in a good locale for us, roomy and WOW the view and proximity to the water was to die for. We loved sitting on the lanai in the morning with coffee and tea before setting out for our day's activities and then again in the evening. Loved the sound of the surf day and night. The grounds, gardens and entire property was beautifully maintained. The condo was well appointed and we took advantage of everything from the updated kitchen appliances to the canvas shopping bags, beach towels, beach chairs, noodles, small coolers and even some of the snorkeling equipment. We would definitely recommend this condo to friends and hope to return on another trip to Kauai.

This IS "best of the best"!!

This condo was perfect in every way! The condo is in a great location that is 5 minutes from a grocery store or 5 minutes from a few different GREAT restaurants and shopping! The condo is 25 steps from the ocean and a perfect beachfront location. (it really doesn't get better than this!) The kitchen has everything you need, the bed is extremely comfortable and the daybed is in a perfect spot to just lay down in the morning and watch the sun rise! Sharon was extremely accommodating. Our flight changed from the original schedule and Sharon let us stay in the condo later than the regular check out time. She was quick to reply back with any questions we had and gave us great tips on Kauai. We will definitely be back to Kauai and we will definitely be back to this perfect location!

Paradise Home on Kauai

This property is exceptional. Updated and immaculate. Very comfortable. Location is amazing. Cannot be beat. Oceanfront, beachfront, and the grounds are breathtaking. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, grocery stores, etc. So much more than what we expected. You can tell that the owners put love and take great pride in their "home". The personal touches and communications (too many to name) were very helpful and made us feel right at home. This home had everything. Nothing was overlooked. We cannot say enough. Thanks to Sharon and Dennis for sharing their beautiful home with us. We hope to come back soon if they will have us. Pete and Deb

Good apartment, but a few imperfections

Our stay at this rental was overall good -- it had a nice, central location, a very nice kitchen with great appliances (including a waffle maker!), a nice bathroom and shower, great view of the ocean, and well stocked closet of beach and pool toys. The unit was very clean and quiet, and the complex also has an excellent pool that is rarely overly crowded. The only things that made our stay less than perfect were the bed-- it felt a little worn and had depressions on each side where I presume previous guests had slept, the lack of A/C -- it is OK if the trade winds are blowing hard, but as this is a middle unit on the 1st floor of a 3 story building, it tended to get hot and humid at night and smelled a bit musty when we came in, and the beach -- although there is a small beach in front of the unit, it is pretty steep into the water and not very swimmable -- it's more for looking than laying out or swimming. However, one of the best beaches for swimming is a very short (5-min) ride away.

I can’t say enough about how nice this condo is. Literally steps from the sand and located in the center of everything. We easily traveled from the North to the West being what it seemed like was directly in the middle of the island. Sharon is an excellent host and even allowed us to check out late when our flight was changed to an evening flight. The kitchen is fully stocked and there are plenty of towels, even beach towels. The 2 bathrooms came in super handy also. There is no air conditioning in the living area but there is in the bedroom. There is a screen door on the entry door so that you can get a cross breeze so it’s not uncomfortable at all. I wish we could stay here every year but Hawaii is too far for us to travel each year.

Lae Nani 513 is a lovely condo with a spectacular view of the ocean, beach and gardens. It is very well equipped. BBQ's are available by the pool. The beach area has a protected area for safe swimming for children and a nice beach area beside it for snorkeling or playing in the waves. Stores for groceries or shopping are nearby as are several restaurants. The bedroom area is are conditioned and there are several overhead fans for hot days. Great location halfway up the east side of the island.

The place is exactly what the pictures show. I found it very relaxing and centrally located to all the island places I wanted to go.

Great location in a quiet area. Easy to walk to restaurants or to use as a base camp for travels all over the island. The beach is literally right there!

Definitely best of the best!

Wow, I'm actually struggling to find words. This place was simply magical. The grounds, pool and that beach, oh my, are all so lovely. And you can't beat the location of this unit! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the chaises on the patio. It was hard to leave. The condo was wonderful, too. It has a newer kitchen and bathrooms. Thank you for the rain shower! I've enjoyed well stocked VRBOs before but their "fun closet" was jammed. There was even a basket full of sunscreens. All that and unmatched communication! Sharon was very prompt in every message and her instructions were thorough and accurate. Delightful! We will return!

Great condo in a great property!

Comfy island-themed condo provides easy access to the beach and all the amenities to make you feel like home! Wonderful personal touches with the owner made the experience even better! Lae Nani is a beautiful property and the beach is great. Will definitely stay here again.

Fantastic Property!

What an amazing condo! It was beautifully decorated, immaculate, stocked with all we needed, comfortable bed and furnishings, great kitchen with plenty of really nice dishes, pans, utensils and spices. The owner really thought of everything we might need, including dishwasher detergent and filters for the coffeemaker. The location is perfect with a gorgeous beach right out your door! There were so many dining options within walking distance. It was easy to reach other parts of the island since it is about halfway between the north and south shores. We have already reserved this gem for next year! Can’t wait to return!!

Incredible view, great kitchen, beautiful property and grounds, outstanding host. Also in the perfect location to explore the entire island.

We are original owners of this glorious speck of paradise. We now divide our time between the California desert and Reno, Nevada, and find we just never get enough of our Kauai home. We love it!

We love serenity and privacy and we get both here. We’ve tried the crowded pool areas of luxurious hotels, but prefer to sit on the lanai and watch the waves roll in peacefully. The ocean changes weekly according to the moon and tides - incredibly fascinating!

We feel like this condo sits on it’s own little island - no walkways in front, no parking lot behind. These days builders would not be able to build as close to the ocean as this condo sits. We found it back when we sure couldn’t afford it, couldn’t even use it for many years and too young to think about risk in those days. We feel blessed indeed!!
