Welcome to the Foothills Lodge, an ideally situated, family-oriented retreat in Sevierville, Tennessee! This spacious cabin spans 2,671 sq ft and showcases breathtaking panoramas of the Smoky Mountains. Positioned on a cul-de-sac with a private road, our lodge provides a serene setting. Tucked away on a hilltop, the Foothills Lodge presents an authentic connection to the surrounding natural beauty.

Inside, you'll find a wonderful rustic and cozy cabin/lodge feel with super comfortable furniture, large fully equipped kitchen, central A/C and central heat, as well as a cozy gas fireplace for those cooler nights and a soothing hot tub for relaxation. We also offer fast wifi internet for your convenience. But what really sets our home apart from others in the area is the spectacular views! Step out onto one of our two outdoor decks and take in the breathtaking sights of the Smoky Mountains, with your own private view of tens of thousands of trees stretching out for miles. We invite you to come watch a sunset here - it will truly take your breath away.

The Foothills Lodge is a tri-level cabin with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, capable of comfortably accommodating up to 14 guests. Main level - 2 bedrooms with doors, both King size beds, an open concept Loft upstairs with a King size bed. The downstairs bedroom / game room has a door that can be closed if needed with a Queen size sofa sleeper. The main level living room area has two sofa sleepers ( both are Queen size).

The cabin also has an exciting game room for kids and adults, with arcade games, foosball, and a billiards pool table. Step outside and play a game of cornhole, or go fishing in one of the two catch and release ponds in the nearby community of Hickory Hollow (fishing poles not provided). Don't forget to bring your swimsuit and take a dip in the community pool. The community pool - the Honeysuckle Meadows Pool and Deli - is open seven days a week from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, weather permitting. It is seasonal, operating from Memorial Day until Labor Day.

Despite being located in a private, secluded area, the Foothills Lodge is still close to all the fun, shopping, and entertainment of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Great Smoky Mountains. Attractions like Dollywood, Dolly Parton's Stampede, and Jimmy Buffet's "The Island" are just a short drive away. The Foothills Lodge offers a wide variety of activities for you and your family, including arcade games, billiards, foosball, cornhole, BBQing, forest gazing and outdoor dining on the spacious deck, local attractions, nearby hiking trails, and more.

Please note that this cabin is located in the Great Smoky Mountains, where a variety of wildlife can be found, including insects, squirrels, raccoons, turkeys, bears, and more. Smoking is not allowed and this is a dog-friendly cabin (other pets are not allowed). There are dog bowls in one of the cupboards for your furry friends. Additionally, there are two exterior security cameras on the cabin for added safety.

Amazing view!! Kids loved the hot tub and games. The adults enjoyed the bears that visited us and the pool table. The cabin is beautiful but REALLY needs a good deep cleaning, has potential the be 5 stars if it was clean. Overall we all enjoyed our stay.

Somewhat satisfied

The view didn’t disappoint. In that aspect it definitely exceeded our expectations. We had a small hiccup with the check in process though because when we got to the cabin there was no service and I couldn’t get to my email to retrieve the WiFi password and door code. We had to leave to get service and try to find the check in instructions. It wasn’t its own separate email from Vrbo, but an email within an email. It took us a bit longer to get in the cabin than I would have liked because it was hard to find the correct email so I wish that was explained better. Cabin cleanliness was a little disappointing. I realize it is a pet friendly cabin but there was dog hair all over the floors and even in the bunks upstairs. It was noticed when two of the kids pulled back the blankets and there were bugs in the beds. It was confirmed to not be bed bugs but that still had an impact on our stay. Communication with the owners was quick and they had the cleaners come to change the sheets but the sheets were just left on the cabin floor. The did have an exterminator come and when the AC stopped working a few days later it was suggested to turn on the ceiling fans but they were covered in thick layers of dust above the beds. The owners were able to have an electrician out to fix it same day thankfully because it was warm. We also had a setback accessing the pool so I wish more could have been done for the inconveniences we faced, but the cabin is beautiful and has a great view in the back.

Spring Break Getaway

We had such a relaxing week at this cozy cabin overlooking the beautiful Tennessee mountains. There was plenty of space for the seven of us and our little dog to feel right at home. We loved using the hot tub every day—it was the perfect way to unwind! The game room was a big hit, especially on the chillier nights when it was too cold to sit out on the wraparound deck. We also really appreciated the gates at each end of the deck, which gave us peace of mind knowing our pup couldn’t wander off. This cabin had everything we needed for a great stay, and we’d definitely recommend it!

The cabin was well stocked upon arrival, which was great for us. We had traveled over 6hrs, so was really glad everything was ready. My husband and family made a lot of great memories there! We are already planning on coming back next year. :)

Great for family vacation

We loved the area. Lots to do without the craziness of the parkway. The cabin was perfect for our group of 9. Plenty of activities to keep kids entertained. The only downfall was the hot tub never actually got hot. But it was still nice.

Bittersweet

We enjoyed our stay because of all the attractions in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin looked nice upon arrival. The dishes in the cabinets and in the dishwasher had food stuck to them because of a lack of cleaning. There was a cockroach found in the main floor bathroom (alive). The downstairs bathroom had a hand towel hanging that appeared clean but had a nasty smell on it as if it hadnt been washed. The baby gate that is advertised to be on property had a hole in it about half the width of the gate. One of the cornhole boards had a hole in it and was hidden against the wall behind the other. There was a board on the deck (opposite of the hot tub) that was rotted to the point that if a child had stepped on it wouldve fallen through. (Reported it to the owner immedietly). The hot tub had a thick layer of slime in it and wasnt usable the first 3 nights we were there. We purchased our own supplies to clean it.

Beautiful view and plenty to do

We booked the cabin to have a family Christmas together. It was in a location that was an easy 3 hour drive for us all. The cabin had a ton of space for the 10 of us to sleep. The entire family had a blast playing in the game room. The pool table was used the entire time! My husband loved the hot tub and the game machine. The outdoor space is awesome too. The leaves are down right now and the view was still amazing. I can’t even imagine the beauty when the leaves are on or change color. It was overall a wonderful visit!

Everything we could have hoped for

We took this trip as a way for my now husband and I to have an intimate wedding with our closest family, as well as having family vacation for everyone to relax. From pictures we were just so excited and thought it was the perfect place and when we arrived, it was everything that we could have hoped for our family and our special day. Stephen and Jen were so easy to reach if we needed anything and was very flexible when we requested to have privacy during our ceremony out on the patio due to the security cameras. You always here pet friendly places but truly this was pet friendly because of the gates on the patio. Our dogs were able to freely roam and just be dogs to the point that they were just exhausted at the end of each day. It truly felt like a home away from home and we can’t wait to take another vacation here. If you are seeking a stay in the mountains with a perfect view and welcoming space, this is your place to call home away home.

Overall, the cabin was very nice
. My wife and mother in law had to clean it. It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t as clean as it should have been. And we were told there was an actual bed in the basement, but there isn’t. Other than that, we had an excellent stay, seen a few bears, and made some great memories! Nice view also!

Very nice views , but the whole house needs to be updated.

The owners of the house are very nice, they will get back to you within couple hours. The views of the house I think it’s the best of this trip, the front deck of the house is definitely a breathtaking view. But the entire house definitely needs to be updated, the rooms and the bathrooms are very outdated. The sink in the main floor bathroom is cracked also the towels bar kept falling off. The cleanness of the house needs to be done more better . The worse thing was the night in the middle of the storm , our bedroom ceiling started leaking and my clothes and the my bags were soaked and wet . Even though the owner replied to us very quickly, but it seems like nothing they could do at that time . I was just super frustrated at that moment, I would think the host would at least give us some credit back due to this inconvenience, but unfortunately nothing was adjusted. Also if you’re staying on the main floor just prepare that you won’t have a good sleep since you will hear every single noise or sound from upstairs ( flushing toilets.. walking

Beautiful property in the mountains

This is a beautiful property in the mountains, we loved every minute of our stay. The cabin had everything we needed and then some. Breathtaking views of the Tennessee mountains. Plenty to do if you venture into town, but gorgeous enough to stay in.

Overall enjoyable stay!

The first thing that I must mention is that communication with the owner was top notch even late in the day when there is an issue with the AC :) The main reason we chose this property was because of the spectacular view and it was even better in person! We especially loved the outdoor space and appreciated the fact that there was enough seating for everyone. Our kids loved the basement/game room! A few members of our party backed out last minute due to illness and we were sad they couldn’t make it, however, it worked out because there really was not enough room for all of the people that were originally intending to go. Not sure I would exactly advertise this property as a 4 bedroom, technically it’s only 2 but yes, it can sleep the number of people mentioned on the listing. A few cons to mention, when we arrived there were no batteries in 2 of the TV remotes so we had to go out and purchase batteries, not a big deal. We had to go out and purchase a new skillet for the kitchen because the one that was provided was awful, everything we attempted to cook in it stuck to it even with the skillet being greased (we left the skillet we bought for the next guest). Overall, the cleanliness of the property was lacking. The blinds, especially above the sink in the kitchen were pretty gross. The property could really use a good deep clean. Again, not a huge deal. My one thing I would absolutely like to point out is the floor in the loft is NOISY. It woke up everyone on the 1st floor.

Family Time

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Our family is scattered across the country & it was a perfect place to be together for a few days. Lots of fun things to do in the area for all ages. We all got to see a bear, one was crossing the driveway when we left. Driveway was steeper than we expected but a very nice parking area by the cabin compared to a lot of places. The hosts are very helpful & available if you need them. We highly recommend this property!

An Active Escape

Foothills Lodge provided an excellent place to find peace while enjoying the vistas from the porch and a place where we could enjoy some family togetherness while we played games in the game room or gathered for a meal or card game at the large table off the kitchen. We enjoyed both the remoteness of the property and it being no farther than 45 minutes from a number of activities including rafting, zip lines, golf, Dollywood, and eateries in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

Beautiful home

The home was beautiful and very spacious and came with everything we needed for our stay. It was also in a very quiet and private area. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Amazing View

Great view, great family spaces, best stocked cabin I have ever used. Lots of local stores close by. We had a large family & the cabin was perfect.

The kitchen and dining areas have enough seating to eat a meal with each other, the living rooms allow for everyone to be comfortable as you curl up in front of the fire and watch a movie, or spend time on the huge deck in front of the Gas Fire Pit.
2) Privacy - One of the best parts about our cabin is that it provides the perfect amount of privacy for a peaceful vacation. When you’re nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, you won’t have to worry about noisy neighbors or the sounds of traffic keeping you up at night. There is nothing more relaxing than nothing but the sounds of nature surrounding you.
3) Great Location - Even though you will feel miles and miles away from all the hustle and bustle of downtown, our cabin is just a short drive from the action of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg or Cades Cove In just minutes, you can be walking the Parkway and exploring all the shops, attractions, and restaurants.
4) Mountain & Valley Views - Of course the one thing that cannot be beat when you stay in the Smoky Mountains is the incredible views. No matter the season, the gorgeous scenery of the Smokies will amaze you everywhere you look. The deck of out cabin is one of the best places to take in the view, whether you’re sipping a cup of coffee or just relaxing in a chair -- we have floor-to-ceiling glass windows for you to gaze out of.
5) Home-Away-From-Home - When you stay in our cabin, you will feel right at home. With all the necessities for a memorable and comfortable stay, you won’t have to worry about bringing anything but yourself and your suitcase. There are separate bedrooms for sleeping, a fully equipped kitchen, a washer & dryer, a gas fireplace, cable & WIFI.

Our cabin is equipped with everything you will need for your stay. From an open air full kitchen, cathedral 25 foot ceilings, to the 3 King-Size Beds. The cabin's Master King Suite Bedroom is upstairs and engulfs the entire upper loft area. The cabin has 3 full baths, a rec room on the lower level and great mountain view out of the front 20 foot tall glass panes. The rural community of Hickory Hollow has two, yes two, catch & release ponds for fishing (bring your fishing poles) & community swimming pool.
