Your one stop shop for where you want to be when visiting Kentuckiana! A minutes walk from amazing restaurants, bars, breweries, shops and all of the local events for downtown New Albany. Also only a 12 minute drive to the Caesars Southern Indiana Casino. Are you here to visit Kentucky? Great! You are just a short drive to the heart of downtown Louisville and all of what the city has to offer! See you soon! This is an entire unit on street level. There is a downstairs unit but each unit is completely separate with their own private entrances.

Louisville Trip

Spent a few days visiting Louisville and enjoyed the location of this property! Less than 10 mins to get to downtown Louisville and had plenty of food and activities close in New Albany for our family to enjoy.

Cozy House!

This property was great for our short trip to Louisville, KY. It was within walking distance to several good restaurants and just a 10 minute drive over the bridge to all things KY! The house was clean and cozy and the owner was very responsive to questions!

Good location--close to Downtown Louisville

The house is on a busy main street, but there is parking available on a side street. It is possible to walk to local restaurants and shops. It is a quick drive across the bridge to get to Louisville, KY. The first night the Internet was intermittent, but it got better as the week progressed. It was modern and comfortable inside.

New Albany

This is a nice house, it’s on a busy street but other than traffic it was a quiet place to stay. Host even had sound machines which helped at night for a light sleeper like me to ignore the sound of cars driving by. It’s an older home that has been remodeled and was a perfect place to stay for the week.

Beautiful Home in a Convenient Location.

We stayed at this location for 12 nights, as we were in town for school. We very much enjoyed the cleanliness and the amenities this location provided. The location is in a very convenient location, near tons of restaurants, an awesome walkway right on the Ohio river, and the YMCA. In addition, the host was super responsive. We were running low on a couple of items and he had them replaced quickly. We highly recommend this location and are hoping to book here again when we are in town in June and August.

good for what we needed

we have family in New Albany, and this home was central to where we needed to be. The inside is immaculate - all newly done. The home is in an older area of town, and very near freeway that was having construction.

It was great place but in the twin bed room to have a place to put cloths and a small chair to sit and it bothered us we found that all window were unlocked we had to go and lock all windows. This house has a great Airconditionut it would havebeen nice to have chair to take out side to sit because they have great front and back porch been nice to have chairs to sit outside

family week

This location was perfect for our vacation visiting family. Very close to all. We were disappointed in the kitchen for a couple of reasons. We had to clean the oven before we could use it, previous use must have had something overflow, with chunks of burnt food and the dirty pans still in there. Owner did offer to send someone over to clean but would have been after we needed to use it, so we opted to clean ourselves. Also, the pots provided in the kitchen were not in great shape so we actually purchased pots so we could cook - only to discover that it was an induction cook top and required special pans. We were not able to do a whole lot in the kitchen for these reasons. But the home did provide us a comfy place to gather which was also important.

Nice but things to think about

The house was very clean and well cared for. Beds were very comfortable. I would say it’s not set up for a larger family who plans to make their own meals. Even though it sleeps 6, there isn’t really a space to eat meals with kids you don’t want eating on couches. I recommend you bring you own cutting board, knives, etc. There are dishes, pots and pans but no real food prep items. The house is located on a busy street so it is quite loud and bright. We don’t live in the city so our kiddos weren’t used to that and had some trouble sleeping. Just something for families to think about. Guests aren’t allowed to be anywhere but in the house or the front grass (right on busy street) when on the property so make sure to have daily plans for your kiddos away from the house in order to do something other than watching television or other inside activities. It was an adorable little house and has some nice amenities but just wasn’t the best choice for our family (3 kiddos ranging from 13 to 9).

Louisville birthday trip

My friends and I came here to celebrate my 20th birthday! The house was great for the girls and i to stay. We really enjoyed our time here. Great distance to Louisville & I never had any problems with Urbane Lodging.
