In summer go boating on the Lake or head over to King's Beach for a day on the shore. In winter, you're just a quick drive to nearby ski resorts, including the Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area, Squaw Valley, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar California. Just 100 yards from your door, you'll find a trailhead leading to some of the area's best trails. Enjoy a local favorite and hike or cross-country ski to Watson Lake, mountain bike epic trails to the backside of North Star or wind along Sawtooth Ridge, or take a beautiful run in the fresh mountain air. The nearby town of Carnelian Bay offers an array of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. For even more possibilities, head to Crystal Bay or Incline Village. Check out a casino or take in some apres ski entertainment.

When you're done exploring the area, come back to unwind at your holiday retreat. Modern convenience meets rustic cabin charm: features like vaulted ceilings, exposed brickwork, and a wood-burning fireplace will make your family or group feel right at home. The stone-hearth wood-burning fireplace adds to the rustic ambiance of the living room. Curl up on the sofa, two armchairs, or built-in window seat and chat in front of the fire. Or grab some blankets and settle in for a movie on the smart TV with a DVD player.

Stainless steel appliances and a gas stove give the kitchen modern convenience, while the butcher-block island and decorative wood stove make this a homey spot to craft a hearty feast. A pass-through window keeps you connected to the living room. Call everyone to the corner nook table and enjoy a laughter-filled meal. When the evening comes to a close, the primary suite features a California king bed, a bay window seat, and a decorative wood stove for your comfort. (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
