Home away from home

Cabin was amazing. The water had a sulfer smell. Bring your own drinking water. Everything was close for visiting. Some of the restaurants food wasn't that good. Overall was a great vacation. Thank you Eden Crest for a great stay.

Great trip

Great place to enjoy with family. Loved hot tub and pool table. Loved the kitchen/living room all together for us to be able to enjoy each other all the time.

Our family loved the C. S. Lewis Narnia theme of this cabin. It was a beautiful property with many wonderful amenities that made our family vacation extra special. You can't go wrong with this rental.

Family vacation

What an incredible vacation! Thank you for the amazing memories- the cabin was perfect and very welcoming! Large rooms, very clean, and the added amenities (game room, theater with a great variety of movies, hot tub and games) were such a bonus. The cabin location was perfect- a short drive to whatever we had planned. Can’t wait to visit again!

Christmas Vacation

Had a fantastic time at our first ever Christmas vacation the cabin was a dream come true! Could not have asked for a better experience or a better location. Plenty of room for all and the fur babies. Love being on top of the mountain and seeing that view for miles.

This cabin is very nice and clean. The hot tub, pool table and other games are an added bonus. I wish there was a little more out door space for the dogs. I feel that the back yard area could be cleaned up. All in all this is an awesome cabin with great Mountain View’s.

Wonderful hide away!!

Rented the cabin for my mother’s 75th birthday and first ever trip to the mountains. Property location was easy to find. Scenery was as beautiful as pictured. The cabin was clean and comfortable. If there is one downside, I would have to say the Wi-Fi. The satellite tv worked great but the Wi-Fi really struggles. I would definitely stay in the cabin again with no worries.

Great but…

Would like to have been able to use the fire pit. It was grown up and unusable. The bathtub downstairs is extremely slippery. Those are the only negatives. Everything else was great.

Beautiful, brand new home

We very much enjoyed the accommodations at the Dawn Treader. Everything was very nice, and the old fashioned arcade with games like Frogger and Donkey Kong was a bonus. Our only complaint was that we had no cell service (Verizon) and the internet was glacially slow (not allowing for web browsing, getting directions, and taking hours to send a photo). We have our own cabin in the mountains and know how tough it can be to get reliable internet service in the mountains, so we don’t hold it against the owners, but guests should be prepared for no means of communications (even reaching the rental company could be challenging, although we did not try).

Nice cabin

The cabin was overall as pictured but things were missing that I believe could have made it great. Cleanliness could have been improved. The kitchen wasn’t fully stocked - didn’t have a can opener, only one small cookie sheet, etc. My family was there to celebrate thanksgiving and planned to cook a big thanksgiving meal which is why I noticed the missing items. The water had a sulfur smell that was pretty potent. Also, one of the best parts of the cabin is the view from the back decks however there was very limited seating outside. One additional positive note - there were several reviews regarding the lack of WiFi but we had no issues with WiFi the entire time.

Worth Every Dollar

We booked this property to spend Christmas with just our family. The cabin itself and the property management made our stay amazing. Driving up mountains anywhere in the Smokies can be a bit "hairy" at times. But, for the most part, getting up the mountain to this property was fairly easy. There are two ways to get to the cabin, one from Pigeon Forge proper and the other from the backside of the mountain. Getting up the backside was fine. Going up from Pigeon Forge offers some challenges with one-lane roads. Just something to be mindful of. You're no more than a 20-25 minute drive from everything you would need. Walmart, attractions, restaurants; the cabin is the perfect proximity to it all. The cabin itself is fantastic! We could tell it had been meticulously cleaned before our arrival, which we appreciated. The main level is very spacious and offers a beautiful view of the nearby mountains. The main level bedroom is perfect for a couple, and the full bath is more than adequate. The lower level rooms were perfect for our 22, 19, and 14-year-old kids. The pool table was constantly used along with the arcade. The balconies were perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee or cocoa to enjoy the amazing views.The only issues we had were the ladybugs (harmless) and not being able to use the TV in the media area. We also accidentally broke a bed, but management fixed it immediately. The cabin also faces East, so the main level can get warm during the day.Great visit overall!

Nice Cabin

We had a great time at this cabin. The view is amazing and remoteness gives you unique vibes of mountain life.The space was overall very clean. I just wish they would have refreshed the water in the hot tub since it had a layer of grease on it before we use it. Kitchen could have more supplies (e.g. coffee, dishwasher soap) although they provided us with some once we asked them (they don’t provide coffee). There is no outdoor space besides the balconies and no wood fire pit which was a bummer since kids wanted to roast marshmallows. The access road from pigeon forge gets very narrow at some areas which could be dangerous when roads are slippery. Overall a great cabin for couples and families.

Beautiful, cozy cabin with a gorgeous view!

Our family always comes up this time of year. We were so hoping for snow this trip and our wish came true! We got LOTS OF SNOW! Our four year old grandson was thrilled and so were we! Lots of Snowmen and Snow Angels! The cabin fit our needs perfectly and with the fireplace, everything was so cozy. The view from the living room was breathtaking to say the least. Our 2 small dogs loved lying in the living room with the electric fireplace and the rays of sun shining through the large windows. This has been by far our favorite cabin of all and we will most definitely be back again next year! The Crews & Smith Families

Gorgeous view but zero wifi/reception

The cabin was nicely laid out and equipped. The view was amazing! We saw 2 bears. There is NO CELL SERVICE and wifi did not work at all. This made it challenging to communicate with family or use google maps to get directions. The cabin was not fully clean on arrival. Needs a deep cleaning. Fans and air return cover are filthy. Showers, especally the corners were disgusting. Need to clean the washer as it smells badly. I would leave a sign advising people to leave washer door open when not in use. Floors had lots of crumbs in corners. Loved all the movies, game system, corn hole and swings.

This is the one!

We are picky customers and this cabin was extremely clean. We had everything we needed to entertain 3 generations (plus 2 small dogs)...video game, pool table, theater, directTV, and two beautiful decks. The cabin was also well appointed allowing us to do laundry during our stay and cook many meals in the unit. Only downside turned out to be an upside- WiFi wasn't very strong so we all put work away and unplugged for a few days. If you're shopping around for the right place, look no further. This is the one.

Perfect Cabin

Our vacation to this beautiful cabin was even better than we expected! The hot tub and pool table were a big hit with my family! The layout was perfect for us and it was extremely clean! Thank you for such a wonderful experience!

Family Vacay

My family (ages 44, 37, 18, & 15) plus my parents (61 & 62) and our 3 small dogs all stayed at the cabin. I let my parents have the main level master so they didn't have to climb stairs. We really appreciated the gate on the lower deck so the dogs could be outside with some small freedom. My teenagers both enjoyed the hot tub, but the adults passed on using it. The cabin was clean, we played pool, and we cooked breakfast each morning there. The road going up was paved the entire way, but just like everywhere in the Smoky Mountains, it was a very windy road. I think some reflectors at the driveway entrance would be helpful for those finding the cabin in the dark. Overall, we loved the cabin and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
