Perched on a private ridge above Clearlake, Jago Bay Cottage offers sweeping views of California’s largest natural freshwater lake, Mt. Konocti, and 14 acres of thriving Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards. This fully gated estate provides a serene and secluded setting where guests can relax, recharge, and immerse themselves in the natural beauty of Lake County.

The newer 3-bedroom, 2-bath home features an open floorplan with a wall of windows framing the breathtaking scenery, bringing the outdoors in. The living spaces are designed for comfort and connection, with a fully equipped kitchen flowing seamlessly into the dining and living areas—perfect for cooking, entertaining, or simply enjoying the view over a glass of local wine.

Step outside to experience world-class amenities: lounge on the porch, take a dip in the infinity pool (solar-heated during summer months), or explore hiking trails on the property. For outdoor enthusiasts, the lake offers opportunities for fishing, kayaking, and paddleboarding, while wine lovers can explore nearby award-winning wineries and tasting rooms.

Every detail of Jago Bay Cottage celebrates the natural elements of water, earth, and stone, creating a home that is both luxurious and harmonious with its surroundings. Additional features include a large outdoor patio with BBQ, Tesla car charger (220V not available for other cars), ample parking, and Keurig coffee maker for guest use.

This home offers more than beautiful interiors and breathtaking surroundings—our hospitality elevates the experience. Guests enjoy seamless check-in, helpful local tips, and a sense of being genuinely cared for throughout their stay.

Guest Notes:
• Pool depth ranges from 11 inches to 5.5 feet; heated by solar May–October.
• No pets due to the rural setting and potential hazards.
• Guests planning lake activities should check water levels with the county prior to arrival.
• Booking requires acceptance of the property manager’s rental agreement (Airbnb guests excluded).
• Stays 30 days or longer have an additional $350/month utility fee.

It was fantastic. Just what I needed. Beautiful, clean, great view, wonderful pool. Love the porch with the rocking chairs. Watched the sunrise every day.!

My husband and I had a wonderfully restful 3 nights at this property, just admiring the lake view & watching the wildlife & sunsets from very comfortable outdoor furniture on the decks. All the furniture was very comfortable though some could use a cleaning. The kitchen was well-equipped & clean, as were bathrooms. Bedrooms are small & a small dresser would help, but the bed & linens were comfortable. The pool was stellar & made the stay worth every penny - we'd return just for the pool & view alone. Checking in & out was easy and allowed us to have a relaxed morning before leaving. We'd love to go back.

Serene Retreat

The Jago Bay home provided our family with a much needed place to unwind. Clearlake was especially warm with temperatures up to 100. The pool was a welcome relief, so we didn’t venture far. The online description was accurate about linens, cooking equipment and grill. The only thing we would have added, would be bedside lamps for evening reading.

Amazing views

We rented this property as a weekend getaway, and pictures do not do it justice. The views are amazing. It was very private. There was a lot of wildlife that we saw. We would definitely rent here again.

Lazy Stay in Paradise

A simple beautiful home perched atop a vineyard, with quiet gorgeous sunrise views from the long lovely deck, dipping in the infinity pool, and the hot tub is among the best. Perfect for a lazy stay in paradise.

Beautiful Views

This property was stunning. The views were even better then the photos. It was very hot the weekend we were there and the AC was not working well, but it did not take from the great time we had! They have everything you would need at the house. Would book this property again.

Perfect for the family

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property. The view is incredible and the home is very comfortable. Despite the weather we had a great time as did our kids. We spent lots of time in the hot tub and out on the deck with heaters and plenty of seating. Debi the property manager was responsive, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend this unique vacation spot!

Nice quiet place to stay

The hot tub was clean and ready to use. The location on the hillside above the vineyards was enjoyable. Other then a little confusion on where to leave the trash all was well.

Great view

This was such a wonderful property! My family and I stayed for 4 nights and had a great time! The house is up on a hill and there’s not much else around but the view is absolutely stunning!! The house was well stocked and the beds were super comfy. The open concept made for a great place to hang out. They had just added the drown proof pool cover and we were very thankful as we brought our 22 month old with us. I will note that the deck is not great for small kids- there’s no railing so you need to have eyes on little ones at all times! Overall we had a blast and would love to come back!
