Indulge in laid-back island living at this gorgeous Sea Cabin condo in Isle of Palms. Boasting beachfront access with on-site amenities including an oceanfront pool and pier, this first-floor condo comes fully updated and furnished with modern guest comfort in mind.

Prepare beach snacks and sit-down meals with ease in the mid-size kitchen, complete with a dishwasher for quick cleanup. After days at the beach, unwind on the private balcony or kick back in the living room while streaming shows and movies on the wall-mounted smart TV.

Walk everywhere with local bars, dining, shopping, and convenience all within blocks.

Construction is currently ongoing in certain areas at the Sea Cabin Complex. We apologize for any inconvenience. The project should be completed by March 2023.

Great location right on the beach with shops and food within walking distance. The private pier for fishing was great. We really enjoyed the vibe.

Such a nice cute place!! Its not perfect, but it had everything we needed. In such a good area too! Walkable distance for shops and restaurants. The beach and pool is right there too. Its too bad we stayed on a bad weekend where it rained and was cloudy. The only issues I had with the place was that the bedroom didnt have a way of turning off the light while also keeping the fan on. Sometimes I get too hot at night. The place did smell a little damp, but it didnt bother me. Also they got new sofa chairs than what was shown in the photos (which was comfortable btw). The couch looked the same but was on the other side. I loved sitting out on the porch too and theres curtains! Overall great stay and my siblings never complained! I wish I took photos.

Disappointing

Isle of Palms and Charleston were great, however Sea Cabin was not. From the moment we walked in, there was a musty smell and feel to the condo that seemed to get worse the longer we stayed. It was clear the unit had serious moisture problems. There were visible signs of mold and the air felt damp, so damp that on the second day we noticed our clothes and bedding were damp. What was suppose to be a three night stay turned into two nights. A dehumidifier would be beneficial. Very disappointing!!

Cute place!

I've stayed in all kinds of beach places since I was a kid. So I got to say I wasn't too picky. My siblings never complained either. The only thing is to install two switches for the fan in the bedroom. For light and for the fan. I like keeping the fan on when I sleep. So it sucked turning off the light and couldn't keep the fan on. Also install a proper toilet paper holder haha. Oh and the shower curtains might need replacing. The air did smell a little weird but it didn't bother me too both. The place did look different than what the photos showed. Just the furniture. They got new soda chairs but seemed to kept the couch and move it on the side where the TV is. The place came with everything we needed though. There was a little box for dish washing stuff sitting on the kitchen counter, but not for laundry detergent. So definitely bring that. Although we never went to the laundromat. I loved staying there for the close beach access, pool, shopping, and restaurants!

Perfect location! Great value.

This little place packs a big punch. We stayed here for two nights (an adult, and 3 boys: 17, 15, and 11) and slept very comfortably. The location cannot be beat. A great value, especially when you factor in access to the pool and the pier and prime beach entryways. We'll stay here again!

Great location

The location of the Sea Cabins and surrounding amenities were great. The pool, the beach access, restaurant options and gift shops were great. The layout of the cabin was efficient and the bed was comfortable. The complex was quiet and safe for our late October visit. The cabin was clean and is in good condition. Overall we had an amazing visit to IOP.

nice 3 bedroom Folly Beach

2 days before my stay on Isle of Palms, Vacasa called and said my unit was under construction and not available, this is totally unacceptable i i will never use VRBO or Vacasa again! they did get me a nice unit on Folly Beach but i should have been compensated for my troubles. NEVER, EVER AGAIN will i use VRBO or VACASA!

Great condo!

We had a wonderful time at the Sea Cabins condo. The location was worse than and close to restaurants and shopping. We definitely recommend only small child sleeping on the bunks as they aren’t comfortable adults or teens. But otherwise have no complaints! We will most certainly rebook this locations!

The only downside to this unit was the privacy. There were no curtains or blinds on the sliding glass door. We were on the first floor where everyone could look in.

Disappointed

Access to the condo was very difficult getting your items from the car to the unit. The unit was musty and mold smelling. Like it had not been used in a long time. Bedroom was small, cracker box size. Bathroom rugs had the mold smell. Towel hook was torn off the wall. We reported it to the office. Upon returning to the unit after dinner, we discovered a cockroach. Again reported to office. Their reply was for us to purchase an insecticide and sent them our receipt. The view, weather and neighbors were great. No we will not be using Vacasa again.

Don't Stay Here

Arriving at the unit, my wife and I found a few small inconveniences like not having a toilet paper holder and living room furniture and layout not being as shown in listing photos. Nothing major, but certainly disheartening. When we went to bed, we quickly realized with every slight movement the bed was going to squeak and likely keep her or I up all night unless we remained completely still. With my wife being 5 months pregnant, I opted for the living room couch so she could get quality sleep. I say "could" get quality sleep, but she didn't due to the hallway security lights shining brightly into the bedroom with the blinds offering minimal resistance. Waking up the next morning, I was greeted by a cockroach on the living room floor. Vacasa will surely come back in the comments that the cockroach is a "palmetto bug", but that is just a very friendly and marketing coverup way to describe a cockroach. They are the exact same thing, feel free to research it; that is like calling a tiger a cat. They'll also likely say that it happened due to recent storms, but that is just an excuse. I lived in Charleston for a summer in college in a much more run down apartment than this and never experienced one in my dwelling then. As if the cockroach wasn't enough for my 5 months pregnant wife and I to consider other options for our stay, we discovered rodent fecal matter next to the fridge and on top of the microwave, which led me to be curious and I discovered a handful more on top of the cabinets. I'm 6 ft 4, so on top of the microwave is eye height for me, but Vacasa told us it was "dirt" and tried to make this seem like I went out of my way to look for the fecal matter. Which, on top of the cabinets I did, but that was only after I noticed it in other places and could visibly see it atop the cabinet front edge. I would attach the photos, but this textbox won't let me. After all the above and sleeping there night 1 of 3 nights, my wife and I found other accommodations for the remainder of our stay. We then reached out to Vacasa with our concerns and they were met quickly with a text reply which I felt great about. The gentleman was kind and courteous and apologized. However, that was false hope as we had to wait over 48 hours to get it resolved, including multiple follow ups via text and phone calls. Each time we reached out it was as if they had no idea we had reached out before and we had to explain almost every time the situation before a member of the management team finally took the case over from the other members of the team. The icing on the cake was the local team thought that fair compensation for a unit with fecal matter, a cockroach, and inaccurate listing photos was "1/2 the cleaning fee". This was laughable and felt like a complete gut punch for what was a weekend to celebrate our anniversary. Ultimately they agreed to give 1/2 our total payment back. This will be the last time I ever stay at a Vacasa managed unit.

Stayed one night and got the heck OUT!!

Booked three nights in this unit but after one night we decided to cut our losses and leave. The unit was remodeled as pictured but no amount of remodeling can erase the age of the building and the smell that comes with it inside and out. The unit still as original cabinets that were just painted, the stained yellow shower curtain was beyond needing to be replaced (the tub has been untouched in decades as well), and the appliances also showed their age. But the biggest issue was the thermostat. It had a programmable Nest thermostat and we turned it down to 70 upon arrival and erased the preprogrammed settings (which were set as high as 77 degrees at certain times of the day!) Yet still the thermostat kept being changed remotely and set higher than what we set it to. This happened multiple times and we weren't going to keep playing games with whoever kept changing it. I called the after hours number twice when we left but got no answer. Good thing there wasn't anything I actually needed a response to!

Weekend Getaway

The condo was perfect for my wife and I. The bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, and living room were all clean and nicely put together with the amount of room available. We also loved the porch area with a view of the ocean. Parking and check in were very easy, and the location right across the bridge into Isle of Palms was perfect for us.

Surprisingly nice!
