Badin Lake Waterfront Home with Paddleboards and Kayak..Sleeps 12

Looking for the perfect lake retreat? This lakefront beauty has everything your group could want or need! Lake views from all 4 bedrooms, kitchen, and dining room. Large deck with seating for 10 to provide the best view for dinner or just morning coffee. Fully equipped kitchen boasting granite countertops and stainless-steel appliances. Tile floors on entire main floor with carpet upstairs. Brand new smart TV in living room.

SLEEPING:
Bedroom 1: King bed on main floor with en-suite bathroom Bedroom 2: Queen Bed on second floor with hall bathroom Bedroom 3: Queen Bed on second floor with hall bathroom Bedroom 4: King Bed and two Twins on second floor with en-suite bathroom
Extra: Full bamboo fold out mattress can be used in any room. Extra sheets and blankets provided.

EATING: Fully equipped kitchen with plates, bowls, glasses, and utensils. Keurig coffee machine for individual cups or coffee pot for a large group. Toaster oven. Grill utensils for small propane grill on porch. Propane tank already connected to grill.

PLAYING: Three paddleboards to enjoy (2 adult size, 1 kid size). One kayak to enjoy. Several floats and pool noodles. A few life jackets are on site but we always suggest bringing your own for perfect size and comfort. Porch swings under deck.

BOATING: If you have a PWC (personal watercraft, like a Wave Runner or Jet Ski), we have installed a landing pad joining the pier where it can be safely parked when not in use. Guests are welcome to bring their own boat which can be parked safely on the side of the pier or on the boat lift. Boat lift is built to accommodate a small ski boat or fishing boat. It will NOT accommodate a large wakeboard boat or pontoon. Wildlife access located just down the street to launch your boat.

Family vacation

This is our 2nd time staying at this location. It met everything we needed for five adults and three kids. Whoever buys this house will completely love the house and location.

Wonderful, relaxing stay

We’ve stayed here several times over the past 3 years, & this is by far our favorite rental at Badin Lake. The house is very roomy with a large living room which is perfect for our family of 9. Every morning we enjoy coffee on the covered back porch overlooking the lake, as well as lunches or dinners there. The dock is large with plenty of room to sit while the children fish or play in the water. There are stand up paddle boards & a kayak for use, as well as floats. We love coming here for a peaceful, relaxing vacation & hope to come again before the summer is out!

Wonderful lake rental

Our family of 9 had a wonderful week of vacation on Badin lake. The rental met all our needs and the hosts made everything easy for us. We hope to return in the future!

Family Trip

We had a great time staying in this lovely house! Very comfortable, great bedrooms and lots of space to move around. Beautiful location and close to general store and Dollar General. We will return!

Beautiful lake house

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Communication with the owners was great. The house was very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed fishing and use of the kayak and paddle boards. We highly recommend and hope that we can visit again soon.

Great Lake Home

This is a great property in a good neighborhood. There was plenty of common space and two bedrooms were master suites. The outdoor spaces including the dock and deck were just what we were looking for. The storage cabinets and storage were all labeled and there were helpful notes and information through out the property.

Long weekend

Long weekend before the holiday with friends, unfortunately we couldn’t stay over the 4th but absolutely a great weekend. Great location and owners were super nice. No issues with check in process and easy check out requirements. We dropped the boat in a kitty before check in time and owners let us park truck and trailer at house before check in which was great. Beds super comfy too!

College Visit Home base

We enjoyed our stay at this home on Badin lake. We were visiting colleges in North Carolina during spring break & this house was about an hour from all the schools we visited. It was nice to have one place to stay each night instead of packing up and driving each night to a different hotel. The host was very helpful, the house was clean, and the area was quiet. We all enjoyed the stay.

Absolutely Wonderful

We cannot express our apprecitation enough for the wonderful experience we had at 378 Shoreline Drive, New London, NC. The home was perfect for us. The outisde back porch and the dock was perfect. The kitchen area provided all we needed. The home was clean and use of the lake toys, chairs and boat lift were beyond our expectations. Great location, clean water to swim in!!!!!!!

Great family getaway

We had a wonderful time at the lake house. Jenna was great host and answered all my questions quickly. The lake was beautiful and great location for the kids to swim. The boat ramp was great for my older stepmom to get in the with ease. Kids loved the paddle boards and floats. We did a lot of fishing and caught couple nice size catfish and other fishes. We ate at Jays Seafood Resturant and the food was excellent. Overall we had a great stay and would stay again!!

Wonderful Lakehouse

Family came from Michigan and Florida. We had the home for 9 days and loved it. There wasn't anything we needed that wasn't there already. We brought a ski boat and hooked it to the dock when not out on the lake. This home was everything we hoped for!

Such a fun weekend!

This is our second time renting this house, & we’re planning one more stay before the summer’s out! My grandkids love swimming, fishing & kayaking here on the quiet cove, & the covered back porch is a great place to drink coffee in the morning or have lunch in the afternoon. The house is clean & exactly as described, & the owner, Jenna, is very nice & helpful. We look forward to coming back in August!

Annual Fishing Trip

Actual Stay and comfort of inside of home was great, very clean and quiet. Outside sitting areas ,garage and some other areas need excessive attention. Spiders and webs everywhere could use some TLC definitely outside..

Family gathering for a weekend wedding

This water front lake house is wonderful and so are the host! We happen to be the first guest and the accommodations were spectacular! They have thought of everything. The house was very well maintained, the boat house had lots of water toys for all ages and the amenities were plentiful. The host were easy to communicate with and responded quickly when I had a question about an iron (there was one) and we only wish we could have stayed longer. If you’re looking for a relaxing place to stay, this is it! We’ve decided to return!

Peaceful, relaxing & fun!

Just got back from a fun, relaxing weekend at Badin Lake & will be returning to the same house 3 weeks from now! The house was clean, located on a great cove & was plenty big enough for our group of 10. In addition to having all the supplies we needed, it also had plenty of floats, life vests & water toys to make the trip even more fun. After a weekend fishing, kayaking & swimming in the lake, my oldest grandson stated, “I officially love the lake!”, & my daughter said, “I could definitely get used to this!”. The owner was also very responsive & helpful when a storm caused the power to go out for a couple of hours when we first arrived. What a great way to kick off summer!

2023 family vacation

this house was very pretty with spacious rooms that were nicely decorated. It fit our family's needs perfectly. We had three children ages eight and under. The "children's basket" was enjoyed immensely by them. They barely touched the toys they brought. The play area in the water could not have been better. The steps from the house to the water were rough on us older folks the first couple days but we got used to them and appreciated the exercise. There was ample parking for all our cars. We will definitely consider renting this property in the future.

Felt like home away from home. Beautiful views!!

Jenna was a great host from the time we made the reservation to the time we checked out. We were looking to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city. This is a great quiet place to do just that. We truly enjoyed spending time together “as a family”. There is not a tv in the living room which at first the kids weren’t happy but I couldn’t have been happier about that. We played games, cooked & truly made life long memories together without the tv blaring pointless noise in the back ground. We arrived on Christmas day & left after New Years. Checking in & out was super easy, I had been concerned since it was on Christmas day. The cold temps offered amazing scenery!! We went to Beech & Grandfather Mountain which was about 3 hr trip 1 way. For us south Florida folks with kids that have never seen snow it was more than worth the drive. We are so happy with our stay & would 100% recommend staying here to anyone. It’s a lovely neighborhood, very safe. House looked identical to pics on vrbo. For our family it was a must having the washer/dryer & full kitchen. The house had everything needed for cooking, had more than I expected seasonings some plastic/paper ware. We enjoyed the beautiful dock & back deck. We loved seeing the different ducks & huge flocks of canadian geese everyday. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us💝🙏
