Peaked roofs and hand-carved daybeds give off Balinese vibes at this laid-back villa by the beach. Pause to watch koi fish swirl in the ponds, dip your toes in the infinity pool, and sway in a hammock between the palms after a rejuvenating swim in the sea. Kaibo Beach Bar is a 5-minute walk, though hours spent on your own stretch of sand might be all that you need.

January 2025 stay

We loved our time at Kempa Kai! The property was beautiful - just as pictured. Josef was very helpful, especially via text as the trip got closer. We liked being able to walk to Kaibo and got several boats from the dock there. Also liked the proximity to Rum Point and enjoyed the beach and beach club there. Would gladly return!

Great time in Grand Cayman!

We had a wonderful time at this property in Grand Cayman! The location is amazing, so close to star fish point and Kaibo restaurant and boat launch. My family enjoyed all the amenities the house had to offer including paddle boards, kayaks, movie room, pool, hot tub, etc. There were a couple hiccups including that the previous group who stayed at the house broke the gate which had not been fixed while we were there (but Josef assured us that it was a very safe location and it was), one of the paddle boards was broken, and we had a hard time getting the hot tub to heat up the first day (but Josef had someone come out to look at it the very next day). All in all it was a stellar vacation in an incredible house, we are very grateful and will be coming back again I’m sure!

Wonderful Stay

I wish we would have booked for a longer stay. Angela was the property manager. She was attentive and very informed about the property. There were many extras that we were not expecting. Very clean.Our group is already discussing staying here again. We had 3 families with kids ranging from 5-9. Marvelous stay. Beds are beyond comfortable. We did not want to leave.

Beautiful property

Awesome property for 2 families with total of 13 people. It’s in the middle of all the tourist attractions except 7mi beach. Great layout, impeccably decorated. The pool was on the cover of Visit Cayman Magazine. They have everything you could want to use on a family vacation. Rum Point doesn’t have a lot of food shopping, so buy your groceries before you go there. There are 3 quality restaurant in the area, 2 walking distance the 3rd a short car ride. Josef and Rosie were our contacts. They were very responsive when we needed anything, or had a problem. Our only negative was that the house was worn: couple areas of rotted wood outside, grill area was sinking and falling apart (grill worked fine), the floating daybed by the beach was resting on the ground and some of the fixtures just spun. None of this impacted our stay and we would highly recommend Kempa Kai to anyone.

Legendary vacation

Stayed here with family, 6 adults and two kids, there was plenty of room to spare. Very comfortable beds. The host Josef was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. It was an amazing experience.
