The Neighborhood:
The property is located in the North West part of Puerto Rico. This area have little traffic, it is quiet and safe. The residents of this area speak Spanish and most also speak English. There are restaurants and bars on a walking distance to property. For anything else we recommend a rental car. This is a small Island and it is easy to get around.

Getting Around:
There is no public transportation. Driving around is easy, all places of interest are marked on the GPS.

Beach Life:
Staying by the beach is a unique experience! Our property sits on Puerto Rico’s northwest coast, where a steady ocean breeze (10–20 mph) carries fine salt and sand. Because of this, you may notice light moisture on surfaces, salt on windows or fans, or minor rust on metal items. We clean and retouch surfaces before every stay, but due to the coastal weather, it’s normal to find traces of salt or humidity.

Local Beaches:

The beach in front of the complex is not suitable for swimming, but sometimes forms a shallow tide pool.

Jobos Beach (0.6 mi east) – walkable and great for surfing and dining.

Shacks Beach (1.5 mi west) – perfect for snorkeling.

Montones and Teodoro Beach ponds (5-minute drive) – calm, family-friendly waters.

Crash Boat Beach (20-minute drive) – one of Puerto Rico’s most famous beaches.

Always check water conditions before swimming, especially on the north coast, which tends to have waves.

Bugs and Wildlife:
Puerto Rico’s tropical climate means you might encounter insects or small animals. We spray monthly for pests, but it’s possible to see bugs, especially after rain or at night. You may also spot iguanas, stray cats, or dogs — please don’t pet or feed them.

Storms and Hurricane Season:
Hurricane season runs from June 1 – November 30. We recommend travel insurance, especially during this period. Refunds are not provided for ordinary rain or short interruptions. If power or water is out for more than 24 hours, we’ll apply a 25 % discount per affected night, prorated by hours without service. Internet issues are not refundable.

Utilities:
Puerto Rico’s utilities are generally reliable, though brief outages can happen. The same 25 % policy applies if an outage exceeds 24 hours. We’ll always do our best to assist and keep you informed.

Swimming Pool:
Pool access is included but not guaranteed. The condo administration may close it temporarily for maintenance. Please be kind to staff—they’ll gladly inform you of reopening times. No discounts apply for pool closures.

Condominium & Shared Areas:

The boardwalk is no longer available; beach access is through the wood bridge at the center.

Tennis and basketball courts are on-site; availability may vary.

Each apartment is privately owned and equipped. Please keep towels, kitchenware, and items within your unit, as other hosts manage apartments in the same complex.

Private parking for up to 2 vehicles is included.

Care of the Property:
We take pride in offering spotless, well-maintained apartments. Please help us keep them beautiful. Permanent stains (like makeup or sunscreen) and damaged or missing items will be billed at replacement cost. Normal wear and tear is, of course, expected.
