3 Bed Lake House with Balconies

Beautiful 3 bedroom (2 king, 1 queen), 2 bath house located on South Center Lake. Soak in the beautiful view from the private balconies, the tub, fire place or wrap around deck! Great way to enjoy sometime on the great Chisago Lakes Chain of Lakes.

Looking to go out on the town, 4 full service bar/restaurants are within walking distance: Tony's (dive bar with great burgers), Fiesta Cancun (mexican), Pizza Pub (full bar food menu) and Jake's on the Lake (higher end of the 4). Don't forget to play some pull tabs to support the local Center City Fire Department :)

Lower level is wheelchair accessible (kitchen, bedroom and bathroom) with a queen bed and the 2 upstairs bedrooms have king beds with each having a private balcony overlooking the lake (beautiful way to watch the sunrise). Full bath (tub) in the lower lever and a 3/4 bath upstairs with a spacious walk-in shower.

During the summer months enjoy a fire by the lake (firewood provided) or yard games (cornhole, croquet and horseshoes) Or spend some time on the lake with canoe, paddle boat or rent a pontoon right down the street. Guests are welcome to bring their own boat/watercrafts.

Kitchen is full of cooking utensils for any chefs out there, including a propane grill outside. Please don't hesitate to inquire about what we have available.

For those with infants/young children, we have a highchair and pack-n-play available for free as well - just let us know ahead of time.

A blowup mattress is available, by request.

Awesome getaway!

We had a great stay! The cabin was so cute! Clean, updated and just enough space (there were 5 of us). We loved how close to the water the cabin was and enjoyed using the hot tub. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. Only downside was how close it is to the highway, but that wouldn’t deter us from coming back. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Girl’s Weekend

This home had everything we were looking for. We wanted a quiet, movie/game filled stay with fun shops and small town feeling. We took in the tranquil views while sitting in the clean hot tub. Home was cutely decorated with all the amenities we needed. Nothing was lacking in kitchen or bathrooms. Beds were comfy and lots of extra blankets around. Host was responsive, friendly, and gracious to give us a slow morning with a late check out. Super easy check out instructions. Thanks again! Perfect girls weekend.

The home was as advertised. Very nice location if you don't mind a bit of hwy noise. The location on the lake was amazing! Very awesome time and loved the home!

Great Lake bday weekend

Had my wife’s 40th bday there. Was a great place for a stay and had friends from Minneapolis with kid come over for the day. Totally recommend.

Clean and thoughtful

This is our second stay at the cabin for my family. It is always perfectly clean and organized with thoughtful treats and things such as coffee creamer and filters that renters may not remember to bring. Hot tub is always clear and ready to use. Wonderful communication!

The right place to stay

This house was purpose built for exactly what you need. Plenty of room, perfect for our family while visiting family! Close to anything you might need, and besides food, there was nothing we needed that wasn't already provided. Exceptional everything, including the hosts. They made everything easy and communicated eveything we needed to know prior to our arrival. We will stay here again, heck we'd buy it if was an option!

Comfortable and clean getaway near the Twin Cities

The house is on a lake and has a hot tub and firepit. The interior is very nicely decorated and it was one of the cleanest rentals I have ever stayed in; details were not overlooked. There was plenty of bedding and towels, open space, kitchen supplies, and more. The only downside is that it is directly next to the highway (not too loud) and there wasn't a good place to go for a walk.

Beautiful beachside home

We had a great stay! The house was beautiful - better than the photos. The kitchen was well stocked. The lake is really pretty and clean. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend booking if you are looking for a cabin style vacation, near the twin cities. Thank you for hosting us!

Home away from home

Very comfortable property that we could easily keep clean. The layout of the property is very ideal! It’s close to many other things like Taylors Falls. We went hiking there. The hosts were great to work with. We will be back.

Amazing!

This place was amazing!!! It was so nice, comfortable and private!!! The house was clean and open. It was great to have a near constant breeze from the lake. The yard games and canoe/paddle boat available for our use was a great pass time. After a long day in the sun it was nice to just sit and relax around the fire. I'd recommend this property to my friends and family. I also would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful place to stay

This was an absolutely wonderful place to stay. The property was clean and everything was just as expected. The hosts - Luke and Bridge - were amazing and very responsive to questions. Nice that there were grocery stores and restaurants close by as well. Also it was convenient that there was a pontoon available to rent as we had troubles with our fishing boat. We would definitely stay here again! I highly recommehd!

No Boat

In the information it said that a boat was available to rent. It was NOT. Also, no where on the lake was there a boat rental that came to South Center Lake. It is called a Cahin of Lakes but that really isn't true.

Perfect!

Really clean, conducive to living, and enjoying the lake. The cabin is a great build that is nicely decorated but also doesn’t have a bunch of nicknacks that make things cumbersome. This cabin has several different hang out nooks, such as the two decks on the second level; that help make it an exciting place to be. The hot tub is immaculate. It is very fun to soak and watch what is happening on the lake. The hosts are perfect! They are attentive, great communicators and friendly but not invasive. Just the right combination of attributes you hope your VROB hosts have. This is my second stay and I would love to get the opportunity to stay again in the future.

Beautiful space for a work retreat!

A girlfriend and I stayed for a few days to work on a few projects. The space is beautiful with plenty of spots to relax. We were able to set up at the dining table and counter, with ample room to spread out. In the evenings, the hot tub was a perfect space to unwind. Luke was in touch regularly to check the hot tub and adjust as needed as well as to shovel after a recent snow. Our hosts thought of everything from coffee and snacks to shampoo and lotion. The coffee was from a local vendor - such a thoughtful touch. We ventured into town for dinner one night, it was great to be so close to many restaurants and shops. We would love to come back again for a longer stay!

Birthday surprise

For my birthday my husband and I rented this fine establishment for three nights. The hosts were very accommodating and the place was impeccable. I could easily see us having a very similar place of our own one day. The views of the lake can be taken from the main level, inside and outside as well as either of the balconies in the upstairs. There are only two complaints of the place. The first being the access to the dock is a little shady and appearing to be of two pallets. These also make it a little difficult to easily walk onto the beach area. The second issue that we had was out of the control of the owners. Due to its proximity to the road, we found the road noise a little annoying. The good part is that the house is very well insulated and one cannot hear the road noise while inside. Overall we loved our stay and would definitely be going back in the future.

Incredible VRBO!

We are head over heels for this place! Our stay here was absolutely amazing, Luke and Bridget were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout. The place itself was breathtaking, offering everything we could possibly need. The tastefully curated minimalist decor, featuring high-end materials, bestowed upon the space an ambiance of serenity and tranquility. We enjoyed every moment, whether indoors or by the lake. But our absolute favorite was starting our mornings with coffee on our own private deck. It was pure tranquility. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the kitchen was a dream for cooking. Another favorite memory here was just kicking back in the evening, sipping on a glass of wine and cranking up some memorable tunes from my dad's time (60-70's) on the awesome surround sound speakers. And let me tell you, there was nothing quite like sinking into the hot tub at night, gazing up at the starry sky, and letting the peaceful melodies of peaceful music wash over us with the outdoor speaker system. It was pure bliss and the ultimate way to recharge our batteries. We've stayed at many vacation rentals, but this one is hands down our all-time favorite. We'll definitely be coming back and recommending it to all our friends and family. It just couldn't get any better!
