Welcome to Cast Your Cares — Your Coastal Getaway in Cape San Blas!

Tucked inside the new gulf-side Villa Del Sol community, Cast Your Cares offers the perfect blend of coastal charm and comfort. Just a short stroll (about 5 minutes) down the community boardwalk brings you to the sands of Cape San Blas. After a sun-soaked day at the beach, kick back in the open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space, or head to the fully fenced backyard to grill and gather around the propane fire pit under the stars.

This 3 bed / 3.5 bath retreat is thoughtfully appointed, with a well-stocked kitchen, Smart TVs in every room (with Hulu + Live TV, Disney+ & ESPN+), and plenty of extras to make your stay feel like home.

🐾 Pet Friendly! Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome ($75 fee). Please ask about dogs over 75 lbs.

🚿 Enclosed outdoor shower with hot/cold water + hooks for towels/swimsuits.

🌭 Backyard with seating for 8, propane fire pit, and Weber gas grill (backup propane provided).

🎾 2 community pickleball courts (paddles + balls provided by us) and a swimming pool just across the street.

☕ Keurig Duo with a full coffee starter kit.

🍳 Fully stocked kitchen with cookware, dinnerware for 12, crockpot, Instant Pot, Ninja blender, and more.

🧺 Starter kits for kitchen and bath (paper towels, dish pods, TP, trash bags, etc.).

🏖️ Beach gear provided: chairs, towels, umbrella, wagon, blanket, toys—and even a kayak for guest use!

👶 Large dog crate, baby gate, and white noise machines in each bedroom.

📦 Ample pantry and cabinet space for groceries.

🛠️ Small toolbox + kitchen essentials (can opener, corkscrew, scissors, etc.).

A Few Notes to Know:

📺 We don’t have cable, but every TV is a Smart TV with a paid Hulu + Live TV subscription (includes Disney+ and ESPN+). You’re also welcome to stream from your own accounts.

🚤 No boat/trailer parking is allowed in the driveway or common areas per HOA. We can help you find marina storage nearby.

🔒 The only locked space is one owner's closet off the master bath.

You’ll have full access to the home and amenities, and our local team is just a call away for any housekeeping or maintenance needs.

Well-equipped property and thoughtful hosts.

We enjoyed a relaxing week at Cast Your Cares. The property is well-equppied and it is evident the hosts strive to create a great guest experience. This was our first time to stay on this part of the Cape, we enjoyed the family friendly community, the easy walk to the beach, and the close proximity to Salinas Park. Many personal touches were incorporated. It may seem silly but I appreciate handsoap dispensers at each sink, quality toilet paper, a few trash bags, etc - the little things that make a big difference! The property is just as described and more! We would love to visit again.

A Hidden Gem in Cape San Blas!

Cast Your Cares truly lived up to its name. This home impressed us from the start with its spotless cleanliness and ideal location. Beach access was a breeze, and it was just a short drive to shops and restaurants in both Port St. Joe and the North Cape. We’ve stayed in many rentals along 30A in the Santa Rosa Beach area—often at a higher price point—and this home was better appointed than most of them. The attention to detail, especially with the bedding, really stood out. Comfortable beds can make or break a trip, and this place got it right. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, which made it easy and enjoyable to cook meals at home. We also appreciated the high-quality beach chairs and other thoughtful touches throughout the house. Our dogs loved the fenced yard—it gave them space to run safely and made our trip even more stress-free. We would absolutely love to return and highly recommend this property to others looking for a peaceful, well-maintained beach retreat.

Cast Your Cares is a great home for a beach stay with a well appointed interior, great location close to the beach and the community pool and a fenced yard that keeps your pups safe and offers a fire pit and grill. Our family really appreciated the personal welcome by the host and the amenities the host provided in the home. Would love to have stayed longer.

Bathing suits and body wash

Bathing suits and body wash. That’s all you need to bring! This home has it all! The decor is beautiful. We loved the welcome sign and sweet treats! The beds are incredibly comfortable. The showers are hot. The kitchen is FULLY stocked (we cook a lot and they had everything you could ever need!). The house had chairs and a wagon we used for the beach. The propane grill was perfect to cook up local fish for dinner. We especially appreciated the bundle of firewood - what a wonderful core memory we made on our last night with our kids, our dog, sunset, good music and a beach fire! Thank you for sharing your home!

Great Family Getaway

Perfect dog-friendly family rental. Access to the beach was quick and easy with the provided beach carts. Pickleball courts are a great little something to do when you want a break from the beach. The house itself was fantastic, cozy, and well decorated, with an excellently furnished kitchen and very comfy beds. I will say I wish that I had asked if the pool was heated before booking for spring break (it wasn't) because it was pretty chilly. Everything else was top-notch. Communication before, during, and after the stay was timely and professional. I would recommend this place to any family!

Perfect house

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious and comfortable. Loved the front porch with the baby gate. We sat out there every night and had a glass of wine with our dog watching the stars. Loved the outside shower to wash off the sand and clean up the dog. The beach was a short walk and we walked it twice a day. Our dog loved running along the edge of the water. Found shells on the beach each morning. Appreciated the beach wagon, beach chairs and towels. Saved us room in the car on our trip home from Florida Was so happy when we arrived hot and thirsty to find bottles of water in the refrigerator and my husband appreciated the snacks. There was even treats for our dog. Can’t say enough good things about this rental. Communication was great. Appreciated the binder of information. It really came in handy . Looking forward to going back next year

Perfect is the only way to describe this property

Check in was simple with great communication. The location is amazing. Close proximity to beach which was very quiet and beautiful. Water on both side to enjoy. The bay on one side and the Gulf on the other. Quiet location with plenty of things to do nearby including very nice restaurants. This is the old Florida we love. The property itself is lovely. It is very well kept and has more than anyone could possible need. Sit on the balcony for a sunset cocktail or head up for a coffee in the morning to start your day. We were just a couple so we only used the downstairs but there is plenty of room for bigger familys and everyone will have their own bathroom for a small group of couples. Communication was great with easy to follow and clear instructions. The host fee does increase the advertising price but after experiencing the service we were happy to pay it.

Visited Cast Your Cares with our daughter who is 7 months pregnant and son in law plus our 2 dogs. House was clean and well appointed. The lay out is great for 3 couples (our son and DIL had to cancel last minute). Open concept living space is great for dinners and hanging out in the evening. The fenced back yard is a good size for the pups to go out. Walk to the beach is very easy which I was concerned about for our daughter but really easy. Host provided chairs, wagons and umbrellas are very nice and a great touch. The water hose and outdoor shower dog bowls etc etc. Too many amenities to mention all. Had coffee first morning before making it to grocery store. One of our favorite houses. Host also checked on us to make sure all was good. Can't say enough good things. Our only complaint is that we didn't stay long enough. Highly recommended 👌

Wonderful stay for our family vacation

We stayed at Cast Your Cares for our family beach vacation with our preschooler and baby. Needless to say, the less thinking we have to do the better. This home was the perfect place as the hosts thought through everything from snacks to towels, beach wagon, blanket and chairs. Nice community with pool and pickle ball. We were grateful to include our dogs in the beach fun too. We would definitely stay again.

Cast your Cares - incredible!!

The owners of this home & their management team are kind & thoughtful. Our family had an incredible experience & we were able to bring our dogs who we adore. The kitchen is new & beautiful and has everything we needed to cook & bake. Two of our kids took turns using the outdoor shower every day- haha. They thought it was so fun to have a shower outside;) My husband & I had coffee and quiet time on the front porch every morning. Our newly married son & his wife met up with us after their honeymoon. They are moving across the country so we will cherish the memories we made this week. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with our family!

Perfect for Our First Trip to Cape San Blas

Cast Your Cares is amazing! The hosts went above and beyond from the exceptional communication to the personalized welcome sign and snacks. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. The organization in the kitchen brought me joy. It’s the little things! The fenced in backyard was perfect for our pups, Sam & Wally. They really enjoyed it! We also couldn’t believe all of the Tommy Bahama beach chairs that were provided. We have the same kind, and we definitely should have left ours at home. The little beach bags and beach towels were a very nice and unexpected touch. The house is a very short walk to the community boardwalk that leads to the most perfect dog friendly beach. Just one more thing we love about Cape San Blas! Cast Your Cares had the best kept yard in the community. You can tell that the owners really take pride in their beautiful home. This beautiful home made our first trip to Cape San Blas perfect! We’ve already decided to come back next year.

Great stay in cape San Blas

This property had all the amenities that we were looking for. Close to the beach , pool , pickleball , volley ball. Dog friendly and even had a crate, dog bowls and fenced yard! The fire pit was awesome in the back and the kitchen was full of top of the line cookware and cooking tools. The rooms were awesome as they all had their own bathrooms. We stayed with two baby’s and the stay was very convenient and comfortable. Would def stay in this house and area again!

We’re Greg and Julie Kern, and Cast Your Cares is the realization of a long-time dream. After vacationing in Cape San Blas for over a decade, we finally made it official in April 2022 and became proud homeowners in this special beach town we’ve grown to love.

What first drew us to the Cape was its laid-back charm—and its reputation for being incredibly pet friendly. Our 13-year-old Pomeranian, Samson, was the original beach explorer, and now he shares the adventure with his "little" brother, Thor, also a Pomeranian. They love it here... and so do we!

From the very beginning, our vision for Cast Your Cares has been to create a place where guests feel at home, cared for, and welcomed. It’s more than just a vacation house—it’s a space for rest, fun, and reconnection. Our prayer is that your time here would be deeply refreshing, full of sweet memories—and that you’ll return again and again. 🌴🐾☀️

We poured our hearts into creating a welcoming, pet-friendly retreat that feels like home the moment you step inside. Our guests consistently rave about the peaceful vibe, thoughtful touches, and how well-stocked and comfortable everything is—from the gourmet kitchen to the fenced backyard with fire pit.
