This spacious 3 bedroom, 2 Bathroom, pet friendly home is designed for comfort and relaxation, with plenty of room for family and friends. The open concept living and dining areas feature vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling windows that offer sweeping views.


In the mornings, sit and enjoy the screened-in porch while sipping coffee and curling up with a book. The fully equipped modern kitchen is perfect for whipping up meals to enjoy on the large porch where you can take in the sea breeze and watch the sunset. If catching some rays is your desire, the expansive sun deck provides plenty of space for outdoor living, and lots of space to lounge about.


Bringing your boat? With an extra large, oversized lot, there is plenty of room to park your boat, trailer, or any of your other toys. With numerous boat ramps in the area, you can choose where you would like to launch. If the beach is your thing, Sandpiper's Song has deeded beach access with a private boardwalk to the beautiful white sand beaches of the Gulf. A brand new outdoor shower awaits you and your canine friends upon your return from a day in the sun.


Sandpiper's Song is located 1.4 miles from Salinas Park, giving you easy beach access for your vehicles, parking, brand new pickleball courts, playground, restrooms and more. Immediate access to the 8-mile Logger Head walk/bike path is found just at the beginning of the property entrance/drive to Sandpiper's Song.


For those looking to explore the nearby towns and local shops, Port St Joe and Apalachicola are both within easy reach, offering dining, shopping and entertainment options. At the North end of the Cape, beautiful St. Joseph Peninsula State Park offers miles of hiking and biking trails and some of the best wildlife viewing in the area. Highly recommend staying here

We loved the house for our stay. The house had everything we needed. We also liked the layout having the master on one side and two other bedrooms on the other. We had our toddler with us and the house was very child friendly in my opinion. Short walk to the beach. Would def stay here again.

So Relaxing!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was very clean, and a short walk to the beach. I love that the beach wasn't crowded. It was exactly the experience we wanted. We have a very sweet, calm golden retriever & he loved the beach! So happy we could bring him along. The only very small issue was the key did not turn well in the lock. A touch pad entry would be an excellent addition. Overall 5 stars! We'd stay here again. :)

Nice House with a great layout

The house was nice, the extra “kids room” off of one of the bedrooms was an added perk. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances seemed to be very new. The bathrooms were very clean and the layout of the house had a good flow. The access to the beach was a bit scary. It is right down the street and around the corner from the house. It is well maintained, but it is the access for most of the houses in the community so not really private. Also, the beach access has a very narrow walkway over marshy water and tall plants surrounding the walkway. We saw several snakes in the water under the beach access walkway and one even blocked our path to the walkway before our dog scared it off. Of course, this can be a benefit of staying in a place like Cape San Blas that it is not overdeveloped and the residents still respect the natural habitats of the native species, but be aware that the walk to the beach is not for the faint of heart.

We had rented in a different location through a different realty company with our dogs and was not as described when we arrived. So when I started searching for a different location the following day, Mary at Coastal Joe was quick to get back to me on Sunday to come to our rescue. The house was perfect in every way. It had everything anyone would need on vacation. Perfect location if you bring fur babies. Plenty of grass without sand spurs and a beautiful beach with plenty of room for them to play. There was a storm that came through and the beach further north on the cape non existent but ours was still beautiful. Love all the woods around the house. And the black bear visits were quite entertaining. The beds were comfortable and everything was clean. I will rent this place again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our stay. I know it was pet friendly but furniture was really stained bad. We covered them up with blankets so we could sit on them. The rug in the living room was badly stained as well so we rolled it up and leaned it up on the screened in porch. Refrigerator needed filter changed and ice maker didn’t make much ice so we bought bags of ice. As owners of pets I greatly appreciate pets being allowed unfortunately it was obvious of pets being around with animal hair and stains. We did enjoy our visit. The walk to beach was hard on my husband but we managed. We enjoyed the layout, it has the old Floridian style which we loved.

Everything about the place is fantastic - the home, yard, location, walk to and on the beach. IMO the south cape is the best and this home was perfect in every way. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Sandpiper's Song is a charming, beautiful house. I believe I was the first renter since it was sold, and so I believe some of the problems I encountered were due to the company having just acquired the place. Pros: very well-equipped and pretty house. 2. The quiet neighborhood and beach. I love how Indian Pass, even in this more built-up area, still has so few people on the beach! Cons: 1. There are bears who roam the neighborhood at night. They turn over and go through the trash cans. The stars at this property are amazing, but I was afraid to take my small dog on the leash at night, lest she become bait on a line. 2. The HOA has trouble picking up the trash on schedule. Coastal Joe has nothing to do with that, but I think, given the problems with the bears, etc., that they might spend time talking to the HOA people about it. 3. The internet is in and out. We were told to restart the router. We had to restart the router every few hours, and, sometimes, that did not fix the seemed to correlate with the number of people in the community (when most left after Labor Day, I had very few problems). 4. They are constructing so many new houses, and they have moved the beach path. I'm 72, and so the trek was very tiring, especially on 90 degree+ days! 5. The house had two keys. The lock was old, and it was the type that you had to jiggle and jiggle and jiggle until it eventually slipped into working order I called Coastal Joe when I couldn't get in once, and they sent around someone who left two "new" keys on the porch for me. The new keys worked as well as the old. We wound up just leaving the place unlocked from then on. I couldn't call Coastal Joe (nor they me), because my phone didn't work at the house (my roommates' did). I felt a bit disrespected. 6. Finally, Coastal Joe is hard to get in touch with. If my phone worked at the house, it may have been different.
