Experience Destin in a whole new way at Eden Escape! Our fun, fresh, and "selfie worthy" spot accommodates up to 8 (including up to 2 dogs, with a pet fee). Enjoy a perfect view overlooking our "turtle lake", 3 community pools (one seasonally heated), tennis courts, & a centrally located spot in the heart of Destin. We've designed this space with all the comforts of home (and not a cramped & cold hotel feel) to ensure our guests have a top notch experience at the Eden Escape!

The Space:
**Important Information - Please Read Before Booking**
• We kindly ask that you read through our full listing and all of our house rules to ensure our space aligns with your vacation expectations.
• Inside, you'll find a clean, fun, and budget-friendly rental space that we've put a lot of care into.
• Please Note: This community was constructed in the 1970s and has a more dated exterior. There are exterior limitations of the property that are beyond our control.
• We understand this rental may not be the perfect fit for every traveler, and that’s why we aim to be transparent; so, you can feel confident and comfortable with your choice to stay here.

When you arrive, you'll go up one flight of stairs (sorry no elevator access) to the second floor of the building to enter Eden Escape with a code on our keyless entry keypad, for added convenience! Immediately to the right, you can flip the switch on to shed some cozy ambient lighting. Take in the amazing entry wall and immediately feel like you've escaped to paradise with the ferns & greenery throughout!

You'll walk right in to the living room that welcomes you with a comfortable commercial grade queen sleeper sofa, loveseat, and soft blankets to snuggle up in. We've added a brand new Smart Tv with HuluLive offered for our guests convenience. Guests can feel free to login to their own medias (Netflix, YouTube, Etc) during your trip as well. Our entertainment stand offers some bonus board games, and a Nintendo game console with pre-loaded games for the kids (or kids at heart!). Enjoy some complimentary sunglasses, and even phone charging cables if you forgot yours back at home!

The entire back wall of the condo brings a gorgeous amount of natural light from the floor to ceiling with windows & sliding doors. Our dining area with seating for 4 sits right in the center of the windows, with easy access to the small patio to sit and gaze at the "turtle lake". Our laundry room, with a brand new stackable washer & dryer, iron, and ironing board, is situated directly next to the dining area as well-no need to go to the laundromat or take a suitcase of dirty clothes home! We have a few coolers for your convenience if needed for the beach here as well.

Our kitchen area is a full open concept to the living room with four leather stools at the breakfast bar for enjoying your meals and time together. We've stocked this kitchen with brand new stainless steel appliances, dishes, bake ware, pots & pans, silverware, utensils, a full spice rack, standard coffee maker, Keurig, crockpot, blender, griddle, and more. We ask that guests bring along any food, coffee, condiments, oils, etc as these items are not provided.

For our tiny travelers we have an easy to use high chair, pack and play, and plastic dinnerware, utensils, & cups. These items are always at our listing for guest use, so no need to pack them along or rent them elsewhere!

Directly off the living area you can find the first bedroom with a comfortable hybrid memory foam & spring King bed with an abundance of pillows for a comfortable nights sleep. A Roku enabled tv here is perfect for relaxing in bed watching your favorite shows at the end of the day. Enjoy plenty of closet space to store your belongings during your stay.

The Jack & Jill style bathroom that has easy en-suite access from both bedrooms is spacious! It offers a shower & tub combo, a beautiful well-lit vanity area, soft towels, separate toilet area, and plenty of space to get ready in. Enjoy additional closet space here as well.

The second bedroom is a great space for kids, or additional guests in your group. We offer a fun bungalow-styled bunk bed that guests can choose the top twin bunk, queen size bottom bunk, or the twin trundle bed. A smartTv is in this room as well, with HuluLive for guest access or the ability to login to your own media. A dresser is available for clothing storage if needed. The bathroom is easily accessible from this bedroom also!

While we are not walking distance to the beach, there is public beach access within 3/4 mile at June Decker Public Beach Access, and extremely family friendly Henderson Beach State Park 1.6 miles away.

We also offer the convenience of having two entrances to our complex! The main entrance allows you to drive directly onto the main road through Destin, and another allowing you to exit onto a side road near a stop light when traffic gets a little crazy in our small town!

Exciting News! Gulf Terrace Condominiums now offers electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, located near the laundry facility and tennis courts. No trips across town necessary, top off your battery just steps from your door.

A few important things to keep in mind:
-Our home is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival & we attempt to catch every detail. If something needs attention upon check-in, please notify us ASAP so that we can properly address the issue. Please keep in mind that we are a small business that strives for the best, and that cleaning is done by fallible humans. Although we have a stellar cleaning crew, mistakes happen, and they are happy to remedy anything that was overlooked.
-We supply all linens for your stay (to include beach towels). Our cleaners offer a courtesy supply of LIGHT amenities (a trash bag, roll of toilet paper, paper towels, soap, dish detergent, & laundry soap). If you have a trip longer than 24 hours, or are coming with a larger group please plan ahead & bring any extra items you anticipate needing during your stay
-We do not permit one night bookings/instant booking for weekends/holidays at any time.
-Extra guests not included in the reservation are not tolerated, please book with accurate guest count for your stay and to ensure we’ve provided enough linens as well.
-Due to this being a residential complex, noise ordinances are at 10pm sharp. We do not permit excessive noise, parties, illegal activity, or disturbances at any time.
-Smoking is not permitted on the balcony or near the building at any time.
-While we do host groups 25 years or younger at our discretion, we must be notified before your confirmed booking. We do not host one night bookings for ages 25 and younger at any time.
-Any stay that a house trained pet will be included in MUST be disclosed when booking, as a pet fee of $50 is required. We do not accept more than 2 dogs, and pets must be crated when unattended and cleaned up after inside and out. Pets are not permitted on furniture at any time. ADA recognized service animals are not charged a pet fee, but ESA (Emotional Support Animals) are still subject to pet fee. False information regarding a service animal is against the law in our state, so we appreciate your honesty in this matter.
-We are NOT beachfront, you can't see the beach, you can't stick your toes in the sand from the front door, and you do have to get in your vehicle to drive to the PUBLIC beach access that is 3/4 mile from our condo. We do not have a gated or private beach access at this location. We do provide chairs, an umbrella, and beach towels for our guests to use at the beach.
-This is a mixed community with residential & short term guests alike. While the gated community itself is a "community in transition" with updates to the exterior being improved steadily, we do not have control over any "look" of the exterior of our condo. We have gone above & beyond to create a beautiful & cozy space INSIDE for our guests enjoyment!

Guest Access:
You're in the best spot within our gated community for easy access to amenities as well! There are tennis courts, just bring along your gear to play to your heart's content. One of three community pools is located next to the tennis courts & as an added bonus this is the only pool that is seasonally heated! Directly behind our building you can find our small lake that offers a quaint feel for an evening stroll. Take an opportunity to peek over the bridge at the abundance of turtles that call this space home! Lastly, guests can enjoy charcoal grills throughout the complex for any meals they'd like to grill out.
