Welcome to The Chalet! This 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin is located in a quiet setting off of Lausanne Way, in the lower half of Tahoe Donner. Recently remodeled with new finishes throughout, this cozy space would be perfect for two small families or three couples.

Enter the home via a few steps up to the main entrance. Enter through a separated mud room area to the great room space. The open concept great room offers high vaulted ceilings, new furnishings, a flat screen tv with streaming options, a wood stove, engineered hardwood floors, a breakfast bar for three, and dining for six. The compact and efficient kitchen is equipped with granite countertops and new appliances. Two bedrooms are located on the main living floor and share a bath. Both are situated at the back of the home - a full/twin bunk room with twin trundle and a queen bedroom. They share a full bath with a bathtub/shower combo. Rounding out the main living space is a laundry room off the mud room and two sliding glass doors leading to a sunny front deck.

Journey up the stairs to the second floor loft and master bedroom. The loft offers a queen size pull out. The master bedroom is furnished with king size comforts and a dedicated workspace. The master bath is outfitted with a bathtub shower combo.

A one car garage with storage and an EV charger is available for your use.

We love this part of Tahoe Donner! Just a quick 5 minute walk to the Northstar clubhouse and a 1 mile drive to the Trout Creek Recreation Center, where guests can enjoy a snow play area for the kids, a year-round pool, gym, and fitness classes for $24 per adult and $10 for ages 3-6. Six short-term rental guest cards will be available per house. Short-term guest cards grant one individual (ages 3+) access to private amenities with a paid daily access fee. For an additional fee enjoy the beginner downhill ski area and the cross country Alder Creek Adventure Center. The hot tub and pool amenities listed for this home are shared at the recreation center.

You'll be in the heart of Tahoe Donner and the Truckee/North Lake Tahoe area. All major North Tahoe ski resorts are 20 minutes away, and Truckee downtown is a 10 minute drive.

For example, weather and harsh conditions have knocked out Wifi and the power before. While these instances are rare, we please ask that you are patient as these are things that we unfortunately cannot control. While we will try to accommodate all requests, we handle refunds for situations like this (power outages, appliances breaking, etc.) on a case by case basis.
