This studio features a living-bedroom with open-plan kitchen. The kitchen has a dishwasher. In the living room, there is a sofa and comfortable boxspring bed (1.80 x 2.00 m). A baby cot is available. There is a Full-HD LED TV. The south-facing balcony is a pleasant place to relax. The bathroom has a shower, washbasin and toilet.

The Sauerland is without a doubt one of the most beautiful, diverse nature reserves in Germany. Walking is possible on every level of difficulty and condition thanks to the extensive hiking network of hundreds of kilometers, through the varied nature with beautiful views. The town of Winterberg with about 4500 inhabitants is best known for the unprecedented winter sports opportunities so close to the Dutch border. But throughout the year there is much more to experience such as: mountain biking, abseiling, gliding, golfing or mini golf. The area has a wide variety of culture, architecture and historical monuments. Various nature parks and wildlife parks are also waiting for you to be discovered. There are many opportunities for children in the area. There is the Peter Pan amusement park Nimmerland, the Mäuseweg with all kinds of discoveries in the forest and the lookout tower on the Kahler Asten. For the larger children there are a climbing trail, a summer toboggan run and a bungee. When the weather is less nice, you can visit one of the swimming pools in the area, with slides and lots of water fun.
This apartment is located in the city of Winterberg, famous as a ski resort situated near the German-Dutch border. Just a few minutes from the apartment you will find various ski slopes and cross-country trails. After a day in the fresh air you can relax at one of the numerous restaurants or cafes. In the city there are shops which can supply all your basic necessities. From the beginning of December there are several Christmas markets where, with a glass of mulled wine, you can enjoy the Christmas atmosphere while doing a little holiday shopping!
Winterberg is the most famous resort for the Dutch. Situated not far from the Dutch-German border, here you can take a short vacation or a weekend break and yet still feel like you've had a real winter holiday. This large ski area is also known as the "lift carousel" because of the large number of ski lifts that you see here. The area consists of 6 mountains with 24 different lifts, from which you can choose from among 30 departures with a total length of 15 km. Both beginners and experienced skiers will have fun here on the blue, red and black ski-runs. There are also two sled trains with special sled lifts. When you reach the top of the mountain you simply sit in the sled and slide down (for these lifts you need a special pass). The 45 snow cannons ensure that the 14 slopes are always covered with a fine layer of snow. A day pass costs from € 22. - for adults and € 13. - for children. A weekly ticket for adults costs € 89. - for children € 53. - (prices based on the 2007-2008 season). You don't have to bring your own ski equipment in Winterberg because there are numerous shops where you can rent ski accessories. There are other ski resorts near Winterberg including the post-Meadows ski resort in Neuastenberg (only 4 km from Winterberg). This area has 14 slopes with a total length of 8 km. The 9 lifts bring you to an altitude of between 610 and 730 meters. For children the natural sled train is an absolute highlight. The 400 meter long track with its elevator provides hours of fun. A weekly pass for adults costs € 89. - and for children € 53. - (prices based on the 2007-2008 season). Even at low altitudes you have the possibility for skiing. The Mountain Ash ski area is comprised of groomed cross-country trails and ski slopes. There are 4 lifts and 6 slopes offering different levels of difficulty. There is also a fun park for snowboarders. Besides skiing, there is après-skiing. On the slopes there is an ice bar and a little farther down you will find a restaurant with a cozy bar. A ski pass for 3 days is € 40. - (adults) and € 26. - (children) (prices based on the 2007-2008 season).
We ask for a deposit of € 100, - through a SEPA form. This will be sent to you in advance and will be filled in at check-in. With the SEPA form you give us authorization to deduct up to € 100, - if, for example, there is damage. If nothing is settled, the SEPA form will automatically lapse.
The rental price includes energy costs.
Bed linen, final cleaning and tourist tax are mandatory and can be found on your reservation overview and / or invoice.
Towels, kitchen textiles and children's furniture can be rented separately on request.
