Welcome to 1326 Shipwatch, a relaxing 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom condo that has recently been added to the Destination Amelia Vacation Rental Collection and is located within the gated Omni Amelia Island Resort.
This fully equipped, refurnished condo is tucked into the southern-most cluster of the Shipwatch Villas, an oceanfront complex situated on the quiet, picturesque southern end of Amelia Island. As guests arrive to the property they will weave through the resort's private roads shaded by beautiful live oak trees drenched in Spanish moss.
Once at 1326 Shipwatch, guests will enjoy the condo's amazing location, coastal theme, and cozy accommodations, including luxurious new mattresses and soft linens. This second-story condo features a private balcony with a wooded view and easy access to the uncrowded beach and Shipwatch complex pool, which is heated in the winter months. There are also community grills, picnic tables and separate bike and golf cart parking areas available.
Bright and airy with hardwoods and tile throughout, our condo has a king bed in the master bedroom and queen bed in the guest bedroom. A new queen sleeper sofa offers additional sleeping space in the living room. Guests will find flat screen TVs with live programming and streaming capabilities in both bedrooms as well as the living room. Of course, high-speed internet is provided and there is a landline phone with free long-distance calling if needed.
Pet owners will rejoice as dogs are considered at our property with an additional non-refundable pet fee and signed pet agreement.
Only minutes from Fernandina Beach's quaint Historic District, guests have 90 restaurants to choose from on the island that serve fresh seafood and other eclectic fare. For a fun leisurely activity, explore the bookstores, art galleries and boutiques in the historic downtown as you head towards the marina overlooking the Amelia River and facing the sunset.
The resort has many amenities, including biking and walking trails, golf, putt-putt, a nature center, freshwater fishing, and playground/outdoor recreation areas.
Please be advised that this property is not a rental through the Omni Amelia Island Resort, formerly known as The Amelia Island Plantation. It does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenities” (i.e. the Omni hotel pool, fitness center, shuttle service, and open play at Racquet Park.) We will gladly answer any questions about area activities and our amenities.
We look forward to hearing from you and helping you plan your trip to this cute, relaxing Amelia Island condo!
