Erä J47 - CASA CRISTAL DE MAR

Casa Cristal de Mar (Sea Glass House) uusittiin hiljattain (marraskuu 2016), ja siihen tehtiin merkittäviä päivityksiä ja lisäyksiä kaikkialla. Olemme perustaneet kotimme säännöllisiä vierailuja varten kaikilla mukavuuksilla, jotka ovat meille käytettävissä ja nyt sinä.

Tämä talo on perustettu puhtaan rentoutumisen. Surffaa, kävele tai juokse kauniilla mailia pitkällä valkoisella hiekkarannalla vain lyhyen kahden minuutin kävelymatkan päässä talosta.

Hangout yhdessä kahdesta riippumatossa lukeessasi tätä kirjaa, jonka olet tarkoittanut viimeistelevän tai aloittavan pingispongin pelin. Hangout Ranchossa katsellessasi apinoita puissasi yläpuolella. Jokaisessa makuuhuoneessa on oma kylpyhuone ja oma sisäänkäynti pois terassilta täysin yksityisyydellä. Täydellinen neljälle pariskunnalle tai kahdelle perheelle.

The best stay in Costa Rica

The property was so peefect for us. We travelled with 3 adults 4 older teens and a 10 yesr old. It was clean, the kitchen was better appointed than all ove the vrbos/aibnb weve ever been in. It's a real working kitchen. There was plenty of wildlife visits. It is super close to beach and shops but far enough away to be out of the bustle. I would stay there long term. We came in town to look at properties and rentals and nothing bested our vrbo.

Perfect Nosara Escape

A mixed group of family and friends stayed for a week and we were all hard pressed to think of any little thing that could have made our trip better. The house and grounds themselves are clean, comfortable and a perfect blend of cozy with spacious. The kitchen/common area was incredibly well stocked for a rental and for cooking big group meals. Far and away however, the most amazing perk of this space is the concierge service provided. Pablo made everything as effortless as possible and made the trip go from good to great! Highly recommend dinner with Yuli, her and her crew made pure magic in both service and food quality. Fishing with Juan Mora was epic, one of the best days we have ever had anywhere in the world. Monkey quads delivered and picked up our ATVs, Pablo set up all shuttles to anywhere the crew needed to get and home massages were a delight. Cannot recommend this home enough!

Amazing Nosara Location!

Honestly the pictures don’t do it justice- absolutely great place to travel with 1-2 families with kids. We were able to walk to the beach easily with young children and get to the main strip in town. Cute breakfast place and coffee shop close by with an excellent pool for afternoon swims! property manager was an excellent source of information and help. 5 starts - would def come back! Raccoons visit during the night so be mindful of not leaving anything out. We heard and saw howler monkeys around the property daily which was a highlight for kids:)

Perfect place for all ages!

We loved staying at Casa Cristal de Mar. The property was perfect for the 9 of us. We ranged from almost 2 years old to over 65. The pool was great, in the shade in the afternoon. Bedrooms were comfortably air conditioned. There were many sitting areas outside with overhead fans. The property manager was very attentive. The walk to the beach was about 5-10 minutes. There were some nice places to get food or drinks just a few minutes away. Monkeys and iguanas were plentiful. Everything worked wonderfully and we had a great time.

The ultimate vacation home

Rare J Section was the best vacation home we've ever stayed in. We had two families vacationing together and this was just what we needed. Everyone had nice, clean, cool and accommodating private spaces and the shared spaces were beyond perfect. The whole place was very clean, stocked well and perfectly set up for us to enjoy our days in Nosara area.The management team communicated very well before, during and after our stay and were there to help with anything we needed. The guest resources book helped us find amazing local guides and things to do. That was very nice.Little touches like having fresh water for us to drink and a million towels for all of our activities was great. The pool was like being at a resort and the kitchen areas made entertaining larger groups very easy. The area has a lot to do in walking distance and we couldn't have done it without the perfectly located complex.

Fantastic property

Absolutely amazing property. Extremely clean and perfectly outfitted. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The pool is gorgeous and well maintained. There are several lovely seating areas outside which were well utilized. Honestly cannot say enough about this property. The property manager and staff were lovely and helpful. The only glitch was that someone had checked out late which slowed the cleaning staff down and prevented us from being able to check in at 3. They were happy to keep our luggage, which was nice, but after a redeye flight, I was kind of ready to get into the pool. However, in the grand scheme of things, that was a pretty minor issue. Be aware that there is construction next door that starts at around 6. NOT the fault of the property owners-just worth noting. Loved the property and highly recommend.

Could not have been more perfect

This place was the perfect spot for 13 firemen on a much needed getaway. Booking was simple, Pablo was wonderfully accommodating. When we arrived, Kathy greeted us with all the information we could need and even drove me to the local store to grab some snacks and beer for the fellas. Located in an ideal spot with a brief walk to surf or grab a coffee and a quick bite at Ventanitas. Everyone had such a great time. Thank you!!!

Great place!

Wonderful stay. Pablo met us at the house and was very informative. Property was as advertised. We even managed to sleep outside one night! Beach was a short walk and the pool was refreshing. If you like adventure, we recommend surfing lessons with Nelson, Macho ATV tours, Miss sky canopy, the "booze cruise" and if your lucky enough to be there when the turtles arrive or go back out, ask for Fransisco to take you. Definitely recommend!

Family vacation in Costa Rica

The property has a great location within Nosara (beach). Everything you need is a short walk or golf cart ride away. The pool was great and worked well keeping our 9 and 11 year olds occupied. The outdoor living space was large enough to give everyone a space to relax. The gated yard felt safe day and night. One of the biggest pluses about this property is the concierge service. The team was awesome and helped us book activities before we arrived and also helped us while onsite. I highly recommend leaning on them for help making the best of your trip!

Wonderful home for large groups

A fantastic home and just right for a family vacation with separate rooms and bathrooms and outside areas that allowed everyone to have plenty of space of their own and enough space to come together for dinner. Beach is easily walkable. Lots of places to eat close by including vegan and vegetarian options. And plenty of activities for the kids. Pablo, the concierge, helped me schedule everything, kept me up to date, and was very helpful. He was invaluable. I'd absolutely stay again.

Would stay here again - great house

This place is great. We liked that each room was isolated from the others and the rest of the house. The kids could stay up watching movies and we didn't hear them. All the outdoor space and the pool were awesome - even in the rainy season. The concierge was very helpful and we booked a cook to come in twice. Her cooking was excellent. We liked it so much I will say we would stay here again. Some of the reviews complain about the WiFi. We did have a few outages but I think it was across the neighborhood.

Love the location and the outside space

This house was prefect for us. 4 rooms with separate entrances and all bathrooms. Tiki hut. With bar extra mini fridge, as well as ping-pong table and ring game. We walk to the beach and town. Their rental property company is amazing and its what set them apart. Pablo answered all my questions (and i had alot) and booked all of our excursions with the most amazing companies. It was so turn key. Ww will be back!

Casa Cristal Paradise

We had family reunion At Casa del Mar with our children their spouses and grandchildren. It took a lot of planning for a group of 13, and the facility exceeded our expectations. It was clean and very comfortable, lots of room to spread out. The property manager was top notch. He responded promptly to meet our needs. He had great tour recommendations and connected us with our tour guides. We did sport fishing which was so much fun; one of the boat crewman served the freshest and tastiest ceviche you would ever want. We went zip lining and the kids got to try surfing. The beach, tide pools, and house pool were perfect. In fact our five year old grandson is now swimming unaided! Thank you so much for the great memories!

Everything you could want

We were lucky enough to stay here for 6 days. I was surprised by how spacious the property is and the set up is perfect. Very similar to having your own tiny hotel- without the staff. Exactly what our crew was looking for. We saw monkey parades making their way about town in the evenings and early mornings. The house is close to the beach and a few restaurants. We asked our driver to stop on the way to the property to get groceries and we cooked a couple of times as well. The kitchen has everything you could need. The bedrooms are well equipped and the beds are comfortable. The pool is amazing and we enjoyed the ping pong table as well. Highly recommend staying here and visiting Playa Guiones

We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves at Casa Cristal Del Mar! There were just 4 of us so the property was a bit oversized for our needs and could have easily been comfortable for 5 or 6 more. Loved the pool and outdoor showers. Beds were quite comfy and bedrooms were dark and cool for sleeping. Kitchen was well equipped. Lots of outdoor shady spots for relaxing. The location was perfect - 5 minute walk to the beach down a jungle path, or to a variety of delicious breakfast, lunch and dinner choices. Golf cart and bikes were convenient and fun for getting around Playa Guiones. Property managers Pablo and Kathy were very helpful with various arrangements. We look forward to returning in the future. ( The option to throw in a load of laundry would have been nice, but we managed fine. )

A surfers paradise

We chose this property for a family beach vacation. Our grown kids and grandkids loved the surfing. The beach and waves were perfect for beginners to advanced surfing. The Nosara area is artsy and bohemian with some beautiful homes and boutique hotels tucked in the dry rainforest. None of the properties are on the beach. Casa Crystal de Mar is a short walk to the beach and several restaurants. We rented a golf cart and found that made getting around fun and easy. This home is rustic with lots of outdoor living. The kitchen could use a good cleaning and exterminating (lots of ants and bugs). The dishwasher was broken all week and the pipes under the sink burst on the last day. We had a wonderful cook, Demaris, who shopped and cooked a meal for us each day. We enjoyed local fish and Tica foods such as ceviche, guacamole, tropical fruits, coconut shrimp and more. The kitchen could use a refresh of sharper knives, cutting boards, etc. Felt a little like going to surf camp and we all enjoyed it!

Nice property, a little tired

We enjoyed our month at Cristal de Mar--the location can't be beat! We arrived after 7pm (thought we would be charged extra for that) but property manager told us how to let ourselves in rather than meeting us. We had a VERY difficult time finding the property in the dark! Pablo, our property manager, came by the next day to go through various details. He was incredible and very responsive throughout our stay, helping with everything from an evening turtle tour (amazing!) to wifi problems (which were often and quite frustrating--for three virtual workers--after being told how good the wifi was there). Housekeeping staff was very thorough and friendly--especially Lola, who came by most often. Gardening and pool attendants were very friendly and attentive, too. Problems that should be addressed: --Listing mentions security system, which we were told didn't work --Shower in Room #1 was either VERY hot or "off," nothing in-between --We were very disappointed in the wifi, which was spotty at best. Sometimes the problem seemed to be in the entire area but we found we couldn't rely on the wifi. --Dishwasher literally fell out of the cabinet whenever we opened it and never did clean the dishes well. --Would have been nice to have laundry facilities on property--especially as we were there for a month. All in all, we enjoyed our time at this property at Playa Guiones and enjoyed seeing/hearing monkeys, birds and other wildlife and loved the private pool.

BEST Vacation and the Casa Cristal was the Most Valuable Part!

Three families - 14 people - stayed in Casa Cristal in December and I think we all wished we lived there permanently. I'm not kidding when I tell you this is by far the best vacation home I have ever stayed in, including any beach house rental in the United States. Guiones could have something to do with it but seriously, it is perfectly equipped, even had sharp knives and any beach renter knows what I mean. The four bedrooms, each with own bath, was exactly right for our group. We had 6 adults (3 couples) and 9 kids ranging in age from 9-16. Two of the families had their younger children share the bedroom and then one couple was alone and the fourth bedroom was for the three 16-year old girls. We had plans to use the three outdoor beds in the upstairs area BUT between the noise and the wind, it wasn't ideal sleeping conditions for the kids. It wasn't a problem for us but it is something to consider if you are depending on those beds. The indoor area, kitchen and TV room, was great. We were really only inside while in the kitchen, otherwise, the house is situated perfectly for outdoor living. We ate, swam, played, relaxed for 6 days almost entirely outside and couldn't have been more comfortable. It's about a 5 minute walk to the beach and very close to the Harbor Reef and The Beach Dog. We had two dinners prepared in the home for us and the outdoor table easily sat us all and then some. The house has separate pool towels and beach towels so you do not need to bring any, there were more than enough for 14 people. A/C in the bedrooms as well as ceiling fans. I honestly can't think of one thing I would change about this house - maybe the owners - meaning I wish it was MINE! Enjoy!

We are a very busy family of 5 from Manhattan Beach, CA. Dad and the teen boys are avid surfers and think that Costa Rica is 'off the hook' for surfing !! They hope to get our youngest daughter to join them out on the Playa Guiones waves soon (she stood up her first time out !!). Mom just enjoys strolling the beach in search of amazing shells and sea glass. We will be visitors to our home often, and eventually plan to make Guiones our part time retirement home.

After only one visit to Playa Guiones, we knew we wanted to buy property there and build our future retirement home. On our second visit, we rented this home and found out it was on the market. Soon after returning home, we gave up our search for a vacant lot and made an offer on this property. Gary has always had such a great eye for making things the best they can be - and so began our newest project - a new addition and remodel of our new home away from home. And because this house has been such a positive experience, we doubled down and built another house just 4 houses south on the same road :)

We absolutely LOVE the location of this property. It is just a short walk to anything and everything !! Playa Guiones is truly special and we couldn't feel more blessed to have a home there.
