Black Bear Cabin - Beautiful cabin located 5min from Windham Mtn Resort !

Black Bear Cabin is a beautiful log sided rustic cabin with views of Windham Mountain Resort. Minutes from Windham NY. Spacious four bedroom / four bathroom home with many modern amenities +plus 2 Fireplaces, downstairs game room, formal dining area. Tastefully appointed with large deck overlooking the mountain.

Black Bear Cabin is a four bedroom, four bath house (all bedrooms are ensuite) conveniently located 1.2 miles from Windham Mountain Resort and 8 miles from Hunter Mountain Resort. Upon arriving you will be greeted with a large fire pit area with seating and a propane grill. A spacious open first floor allows for comfortable get togethers and shared meals. The dining room features its own fireplace and comfortably seats 8 people. The fully stocked open kitchen has additional seating for six at the counter and overlooks a spacious living room area, vaulted ceiling with a television and large fireplace. A large deck off the living area offers great views of the runs at Windham Mountain and on clear nights, unbeatable views of the stars.

The large front deck offers a large picnic table for outdoor dining and four Adirondack chairs for seating. In addition, there is a small covered, side porch off of the dining room with views of the woods. There is seating for 2-4 on this porch.

The first floor has three bedrooms consisting of the master suite and two guest rooms. Each with ceiling fans and their own private bathroom. Soap, shampoo and toilet paper are provided in all bathrooms.

The basement level offers more room for entertaining with a large screen tv with xbox (must use your own log-in), pool table and large circular table perfect for board games and puzzles. In addition, there is a small workout area with a Peloton bike. Please bring your log-in, although it is not necessary to ride the bike, you won’t be able to access any classes without it. Laundry is on this level.

The Bear Cub Den is on the basement level, it features three rustic bunk beds, sleeping 6. This room is designed for kids, but could sleep 3 adults comfortably. There is another full bath on this level.

In addition to shampoo/conditioner and soaps, we provide ground coffee in the kitchen for the coffee maker and a variety of teas, sugar and non-dairy creamer. There is a Keurig individual coffee maker, we do not supply the k-cups but if you prefer to use this you can bring your own. We also provide trash bags, paper towels, napkins, cooking oils, and spices.

Due to wildlife in the area, garbage cannot be left outside. Guests must drive their garbage to the waste management facility, less than a 10 min drive, before checkout. The facility charges $2 cash per bag. All recycling is free.

The house has exterior security cameras for security purposes only. Primary renter must be minimum 30 years old, provide current government issued ID, and sign a lease.
