We had quite an adventure!
The house: The kitchen was well appointed with everything you need to cook delicious meals for the whole family. It was large and convenient.
The great room served us well being large enough for our party of 11 to all hang out in and move around comfortably. We had our 3rd annual talent show and the great room was absolutely perfect for our big group.
The bedrooms were just what we needed. The beds and linens were comfortable. It was nice having the bedrooms slightly separated from the main living area.
The bathrooms were clean and cozy.
We did use the woodstove which came in very handy during our stay. It warmed the space up quickly and made the home very cozy!
Overall the house was clean, comfortable, and could easily accommodate our big group.
The property: There was snow on the ground when we arrived and we took full advantage of the sleds and sledding hills.
The pond was lovely even covered in snow.
The woods and grounds were fun to explore. There were two nice outdoor patio/porch areas that we didn't really use, but I imagine during the summer, that is where your time should be spent.
We visited Howe Caverns and stopped at the nearby brewery where the owners were very friendly and the beer was delicious.
The host was very communicative even while being in an area where it was slightly difficult for him to get service. His wife and brother were available when he wasn't.
We appreciate the adventure that we had and would definitely stay here again!
