From sunrise to sunset, the lake views with peace and quiet are complemented by a brand-new home with every amenity. Sitting on 12 acres, our house is near Finger Lakes vineyards, Pine Creek Rail Trail, Wellsboro PA, Corning Glass Museum, multiple lakes, race tracks(both Motocross and Watkins Glen International), boating, hiking, and fishing. It's amazing how many different things you can do within a 1-minute to 50-minute drive from the house. Scenic, peaceful views all year round from the deck overlooking Lake Cowanesque is the cherry on top! You don't have to go anywhere! Quiet comfort in a brand-new house with central air, a washer, dryer, dishwasher, microwave, smart TV, Starlink 5G WiFi(Over 100 mb/s), and privacy! Blackout curtains and deer roaming the property. Quiet and private

The stay was good overall. Some quirks to the place such as the temperature quite different between the two floors, beds and pillows could be more comfortable. The basement are quite damn during a rainstorm. But otherwise an enjoyable stay overall and the host Charlie was very nice and helpful!

Clean and comfy

The property is a perfect gem and so glad it was available for our stay. Easy to find, easy to access using the code provided from the owner, clean & comfortable beds, large showers and a beautiful lake view! What more could you ask for?! Highly recommend this property and we will be back again!!

Our stay at house on the lake.

Place was very nice. Had to clean coffee pot before it could be used, still had filter and grounds from previous guests. Needs new pillows/mattresses and no blankets on beds downstairs where it was a bit chilly. We washed a few dishes before we could use them so a couple of dish towels should be supplied. Beautiful view.

Perfect!

The location was perfect for the activities we had planned. The house was very cozy and accommodating for our family. The view from the deck is beautiful. We come to the area each year in August and will certainly try to book here again.

Awesome Mini Getaw

We came for the weekend to visit family who has a cabin close by. The location was great, beautiful view. The home was clean, there were a few dead bugs around on the wood floor and in the sink but to be expected being located in the woods. Overall was very clean and would stay again.

Great location and house.

Everything was wonderful. Stayed with our 2 dogs. Path around the house was great for walks. Only disappointment was a fire pit was listed and there was none. Would definitely stay again. Lovely house.

Great little private getaway

We spent a few days here for a small Friendsgiving and had a great time. The kitchen was great and well-equipped, and as you might imagine, we very much appreciated having a full table to serve dinners. Cozy living room too, with a great TV, and very warm throughout the cold nights.

Scenic Location

This is a beautiful, relaxing setting with a nice view of the lake and mountains. It is located near the PA Grand Canyon and the little lovely town of Wellsboro. However, when we arrived, the kitchen floor had not been swept and there was dog hair and dust all over. We contacted Charlie who did respond by sending a housekeeper, but it was 2 1/2 hours after our arrival. Overall, we enjoyed our vacation here.

Beautiful view, great host

The area is gorgeous, and the house is clean and stocked for the guests. I had questions before my check in date, and the host was quick to answer. Check in was simple and easy.

Good view from a Brand new home

We had a good time enjoying the lake. There was plenty of driveway. The house was very stocked and ready for a nice stay(even enough kitchen stuff). Nothing like sitting on the deck with a great view of the lake.

Well designed clean property

The house is well designed with every inch of space utilized. The property was new and in great shape with all the comforts we could ask for. A big thank you to the host for accommodating our change in schedule and meeting us to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Great choice

Very nice property, house is extremely clean and feels new. Comes fully stocked and furnished, Charles has tried to think of everything you might need/need to know. Everything was very smooth. We were in town for the Wineglass Marathon, location was good for that and the value was exceptional. Very quiet location across from the lake.

A Well Equipped Vacation Rental with Beautiful Views and Location

This home provided just what we needed to have a great family vacation. The location was easily accessible. The views were fantastic. This area of PA is just beautiful. The kitchen amd home are well equipped. Thr homeowners are super friendly and helpful. We were able to go to the Corning Museum of Glass; Watkins Glen; the Little Grand Canyon of PA; Ithaca, NY sites; The Pennsylvania Lumber Museum; the Finger Lakes area, and even took a day trip to Niagra Falls (3 hr drive). We even enjoyed the park across the street from the house.

Depends what YOU are expecting.

This is a new home as stated. The view of the lake and hillsides are very nice from the upper deck. However, the house sits uphill above a main highway and all the road noise travels uphill which made getting a good nights rest difficult for a light sleeper like me. I also had an adverse physical affect because the sheets and towels were highly scented with a laundry product like unstoppables. When I expressed these concerns to the caretaker, he responded promptly and brought a brand new set of packaged sheets very quickly. In our opinion, the home needs a good cleaning. We saw cobwebs, I needed to clean cooked on boiled over noodle water or oatmeal off the microwave plate, smelled urine odor on one matresses, and suspect the floors need a fresh mopp. All in all, though, it is a nice little house with properly working appliances and air conditioning, and tv. WIFI signal great. Water from tap tastes fine and plenty of hot water for showers. So, if you are not fussy about a super clean home and don't have any sensory issues like me, I think you will be happy with your stay!
