Istua olohuoneessa ja katsella aaltoja pyöriä näkemättä muita taloja! Kävele astuu ulos oman polveileva hiekka polku rantaan. Esteetön näkymät oleskelu-, ruokailu, keittiö ja makuuhuone. Nauti aurinkoisista päivistä ja myrskyinen sää, kaikki tarhan oman kuulu kuisti siemaillen suosikki juoma ja rentouttava! Haluatko olla Jännitystä?

Mennä pyöräilyä, surffausta tai skimboarding tai vain vaeltaa alas laituri ja katsella tiivisteet ja katso, mitä kalastajat ovat kiinni. Istu sohvalla ja rentoutua ja katsella kaunista Oregonin rannikolla jalat. On jokaiselle jotakin ... satoja elokuvia katsomaan, pelejä pelata, palapelit koota ja ajopuu linnoituksia rakentaa. Family Vacation

This house was amazing, the view was awesome, getting to the beach was easy all around it was just what we needed for our family. What blew us away was the kitchen floor was heated! Great place to stay!

The house is literally perfect. Well stocked kitchen. Two different living spaces. Extremely comfortable beds with additional soft blankets and pillows in every closet. The outdoor faucet to rinse off sand gets warm quickly and was enjoyed by the kids. Plenty of beach toys. Nice washer and dryer. The house even has an ottoman that rolls around and is a hide-a-bed! Very convenient for someone yo sleep in one of the living spaces. Such a relaxing week watching sunsets every night and finding sand dollars all day. Hope to be back.

Beautiful beachfront home

What a wonderful stay! The home is clean, very comfortable, and full of amenities. And the view! Stunning view of the Pacific from the large picture windows in the main room. Rockaway Beach is a sleepy town but that’s a plus in our book because the beaches were uncrowded and pristine. The house is close to many other beach towns, and the host leaves details about the area — we planned our days around the suggestions! So many stunning hikes and viewing spots along route 101 to see the intertidal rock formations.Jan was so helpful, accommodating and quick to respond. Thank you for sharing this beautiful spot!

Quiet getaway

Property was great as was communication with the host! The view was amazing, quick walk to the beach, and floorplan of the house was perfect! Kids enjoyed the downstairs area in the evenings while the upstairs was a nice quiet retreat. The kids loved the heated kitchen floor and spent mornings sitting in the kitchen playing battleship!

Best beach access

Nice and quiet neighborhood. Great floor plan especially the patio facing the beach. It seemed very private the way it was sheltered slightly on each side, didn't notice the neighbors. Lovely sunsets and perfect access to the beach!

Great location on Rockaway

Rockaway Beach is amazing and less busy than Arch Cape or Cannon Beach, but both are a short drive away. The house has a gorgeous ocean view and great layout. The beach is literally 2 minutes away. The owners are responsive and attentive.

Annual Family Beach Trip

We have stayed at this same location for several summers for our annual family beach trip. We love it every time! It is well stocked with all the beach toys that you need. It is a great location for a sandy beach without crowds. There are also plenty of games and movies available when you are taking a break from the beach. We will be back!

60th Anniversary get-away <3

Amazing home with an incredible front-seat view of the ocean! Comfortable, easy access to the beach, incredible sunsets and for us....a lot of love to go around having had our 2 daughters/2 sons-in-law with us to celebrate for the entire week! This is our second year staying at beach star. Our 4 generation group were ages 8-93. Well stocked kitchen, very clean, comfortable beds, short walk to ocean. Loved going to sleep listening to the waves. Everything was perfect. I had to call owner with a question, and was immediately answered. Very good communication from start to finish

Thanksgiving

My family and I (all adults) had a wonderful stay at Beach Star. The property is steps from the beach and the second floor leaving space overlooks the ocean. There are 2 Kings rooms on the 2nd floor and 1 room with a bunks and additional bed on the 1st floor. The 1st floor also has a smart television. It was so nice not having the distraction of the tv on the 2nd floor, our family spent a lot of time reading and looking at the coast, when not walking along it. We cooked a full thanksgiving dinner minus the Turkey, which we brought pre-cooked, and all the cooking equipment, knifes, pots and pans we needed were provided. The sound system is great, bring your favorite CDs to enjoy it! Loved the stay!

Another great stay

We’ve stayed at this beach house several times. As always, it was super clean and has everything you need. Location is fantastic, right on the beach and a short drive to town. Hope to stay again next year. My only wish is that they would put screens on the windows.

Best Beach View

Super impressed with the property. The location of this house is fantastic. You can just walk right down to the beach from the back patio. We had teenagers with us and it was so great to be able to let them go back and forth and explore while we watched from the kitchen and patio. We particularly enjoyed going out at low tide early in the morning with coffee and looking for sand dollars as well as roasting smores over our little beach fire at night. The hot water never seemed to run out which was impressive for 6 girls in the house. Well stocked kitchen. Cute shopping nearby as well as places to go crabbing and get fresh seafood. Very clean with comfy matresses. Crazy big dvd and book collection. You could stay here for months and never get bored. Highly recommend.

Amazing vacation in Rockaway Beach!

This home and location are absolutely perfect! The pictures do not do the house and ocean views justice. Everything is beautiful and serene! The house is absolutely immaculate with everything you could need. There’s a fully stocked kitchen, books, games, hundreds of DVDs, and all kinds of things to use at the beach. The neighborhood is quiet. We even saw deer in the yard almost every day. We can’t wait to come back! I stay in vacation homes a few times a year, and this one is at the top of the list. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle and bustle. It’s perfection!

Idyllic setting for a relaxing weekend

The property is absolutely beautiful. The layout worked well for our group - grandparents stayed in the two rooms upstairs, while my husband, children and I had the lower floor. It worked well for our family of four to sleep in the bunk room and it was nice to be near the couches and TV in the living space downstairs. Upstairs, it was actually nice not to have a TV, since the view of the ocean occupied most of our attention. The walk out to the ocean was very short and the beach was incredibly beautiful. The entire house was spotless and the kitchen was well-stocked with all the essential cooking equipment. We found our stay to be incredibly enjoyable. And Jan is such a pleasure to work with! Very responsive and kind. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

Absolutely gorgeous place, perfect stay!

Beautiful, spacious, upscale home on virtually private beach. It does not get any better than this--best vacation rental ever! The house, on a quiet uncrowded street and literally oceanfront, is huge, stylish, and immaculate. Layout is wonderful for gathering or separate activities. Plenty of room for 2 couples plus 4 children. Jan the owner is extraordinarily kind and responsive. Gorgeous LR with wall of windows has stunning ocean views, deep padded leather sofa and recliners to relax and soak up the vista. Beautiful fireplace accent wall. Large LR is open to very spacious DR with solid table and chairs to accommodate 8+, and more wide ocean views! Amazing kitchen had literally everything we could want, inc fancy cake pans, crock pot and electric grill. We cooked almost every night--plenty of space for multiple adults and kids to assist, or advise from the counter bar seats. MBR has lovely ocean views and bed is super comfy. Plenty of storage in closet and armoire, a rare plus in a vacation home. Nice large shower in ensuite bathroom. 2nd BR was also comfortable with mountain views and attached bath. And there's a downstairs too! Pretty entry, huge TV room, washer/dryer, Kid Room plus another full bath. Did I mention this house has everything? Stupendous ocean sunsets every night from the wide porch or from our "private" silky sand beach. Beach toys and kites, and outdoor faucet to wash off the sand. Cute town to enjoy fudge, plus scenic tidepooling nearby. PERFECT STAY!

Best VRBO we have stayed in yet!

After spending hours researching a place to stay on the Oregon coast, we finally settled on this home on Rockaway Beach. Amazing! Worth paying the extra and staying right on the beach! The view was breathtaking! Beach and ocean views out large back windows, mountains and pines out the front. Quiet neighborhood. Short walk to the beach, which was pretty much empty our entire stay. Beautiful sandy beach. It was shallow for quite a long ways out, helping me feel safe about my children playing in the waves. Beach activities we enjoyed that we found supplies for in the garage: Skim boards, boogie boards, sandcastles-lots of buckets and 4 awesome digging shovels, 4 kites-although only 2 worked well, and great chairs to lounge in while watching the kids play. There are 2 bikes, but not currently in working condition. Several local business you can rent bikes from if interested in biking. An earlier review mentioned walking up the beach to a "driftwood graveyard." We ended up driving to it. Kids had a lot of fun checking out all the drift wood and creations built from it, and they enjoyed even more scaling out on the rocks on the jetty. The home was even better than the pictures. Everything was clean and orderly when we arrived. Jan was wonderful to work with and quick to answer my many questions. We cooked all of our meals at the home (picked up groceries that were ordered on-line from tillamook) and found all cooking pans/utensils that we needed. Some very basics are there, but no cooking spray. Large kitchen was easy to cook and prepare meals. Lots of family games. We enjoyed Sequence, Dominoes, Risk, Gobblet. Lots of books to read, however only a few for younger children and the teen/tween selection was very limited too. My children found a few that were appropriate for their age level, but if you have big readers like we do, you may want to bring a couple of your children's own. We also enjoyed watching several movies. Large collection. Most are rated R or PG-13. Although we found plenty of great family choices to select from. Did not see any cartoons/Disney animated if you have very young children. Master bed was very comfy. My children all said their beds were comfy too. Bathrooms were clean and mold free. Plenty of towels. We were a little nervous coming during the pandemic, but felt very safe the whole time. We spent most of the time by ourselves at the beach or at the home. We didn't want to leave!

The owner is a builder and family man who understands the value of time spent together with family and friends. He thought through every detail, wanting this to be the ultimate beach retreat. Our home is centrally located in the midst of many fun things to do. Go crabbing or fishing, antique shopping throughout all the little towns around us, go to the Tillamook Cheese Factory for ice cream or into Cannon Beach for shopping. Enjoy hiking, horseback riding, surfing, golfing, kayaking. You can tour the Aquarium, Nehalem Bay Winery, Oregon Air Museum or just relax and rejuvenate and never leave the comfort of your own peaceful haven on the beach!
