Perched high in the mountains of Bailey, Colorado, this handcrafted cabin is surrounded by sweeping 360-degree views of rugged peaks, dense evergreen forests, and endless skies. From the moment you arrive, the landscape sets the tone for a stay filled with tranquility, fresh mountain air, and the kind of quiet only nature can provide. Whether you spend your days exploring nearby trails or simply relaxing at the property, every detail has been designed for comfort and connection.
Outdoor living
Step outside onto one of two expansive decks and take in the scenery that stretches across the horizon. The front patio offers a firepit, grill, outdoor dining set, and comfortable seating - the perfect place to gather over an evening meal as the sun sinks behind the ridgeline. Out back, a jetted hot tub waits beneath string lights, where you can sink into the warm water after a day of hiking or skiing and watch the stars emerge above the treetops. Wildlife sightings are common here, from elk grazing at dawn to hawks circling overhead, adding a sense of wonder to every outdoor moment.
Living spaces
Inside, the open-concept main level blends rustic warmth with modern amenities. Vaulted ceilings and rich wood finishes create a cozy atmosphere, while large windows frame the mountain views and fill the home with natural light. The living room features a freestanding wood-burning stove alongside a 65-inch Smart TV, making it easy to curl up for a movie night after an adventurous day. The dining area seats six, with additional space for four at the granite-topped kitchen island. The fully equipped kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, stone countertops, and all the cookware you need to prepare meals at home. Upstairs, a loft doubles as a flexible space for reading, board games, or remote work, while the converted garage game room provides hours of fun with foosball, pop-a-shot basketball, and an extra fridge for drinks and snacks.
Sleeping arrangements
Three thoughtfully furnished bedrooms provide space for rest and relaxation. The primary suite on the main level features a king bed, ensuite bathroom with dual vanities, a shower-tub combination, and French doors that open directly to the patio. Upstairs, one bedroom includes a queen bed with serene mountain views, while another offers a twin-over-queen bunk bed - ideal for families or friends traveling together. The loft includes a sofa sleeper to accommodate additional guests.

***IMPORTANT*** Please be advised that this home is located on a sloped road on an elevated property. All guests must have 4-wheel drive or all wheel drive vehicles are required to access the home, especially in the winter and during rough weather conditions. We are not responsible for vehicles getting stuck or having issues accessing the property. Thanks for your understanding!
For guests staying from late October through late April, a 4WD vehicle is required. Most winter storms will provide about 5" of snow at one time. The road and our driveway is steep and can be problematic for cars not properly equipped to handle snow. The neighborhood roads and driveway are regularly plowed as needed during the winter months.
WOOD-BURNING FIREPLACE: In addition to central heating, this home features a wood-burning stove/fireplace. We kindly ask that you bring your own firewood if you plan to use it during your stay.
SUMMER: It is uncommon for mountain homes to have AC. The home does not have AC but has various windows that can be opened with ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living areas.
WINTER: Please note that this home is on a sloped road and elevated property. From late October to late April, AWD OR 4WD VEHICLES ARE REQUIRED due to potential snowfall. Winter storms typically bring about 5" of snow and our steep driveway requires proper snow-handling vehicles. Local roads and the driveway are plowed but 4WD or AWD vehicles are a must, especially in winter and bad weather. We're not responsible for stuck vehicles or access issues. Thanks for your understanding!
During icy, wet, or slippery weather conditions, please use extra caution when walking on the exterior stairs, patio deck and on the walkways. We are not responsible for any injuries or accidents resulting from slips or falls on the property. However, we will do our best to keep the driveway, stairs, and home entrances cleared and safe for all of our guests.
For safety and security purposes, we have a Ring doorbell security camera on the outside of the property at the front door. There are absolutely no cameras inside the home.
