JUST A FLUKE is a beautifully well-maintained landscape oceanside home, with a large spacious great room, 16 seating for dining, 6 seats for island bar, well equipped kitchen, 7 bedrooms with 4 king size beds, a newly covered pool table in a spacious Game Room, a large private pool with fun night pool lights and with outdoor hot tub. It is only four-minute walk, and your feet is in the water! Whether it is gathering of family, colleagues, or friends, this beach house is a perfect place for your perfect getaway: whether you are sipping your favorite cocktail enjoying salt air from the deck, picnic and grill at the pool, sunbathing at the beach, splashing in the waves, jogging in a nice community, or at the beach w tent umbrella beach chair and beach ball, flying a kite or having fun w boggie board, shopping, dining, or going to 4x4 drive beach to see Wild Mustangs, climbing up to see the beautiful vista at Corolla light House, visiting historic sites, there is indeed plenty of fun to do during your stay. The house needs a deep clean and some organization. The AC doesn’t do a great job on mid and bottom level at all. The double room and bunk room are way too hot to even sleep in there’s no air flow. We have never stayed anywhere there wasn’t baby gates with steps, and toilet paper to get you started but there wasn’t any of those. The sofa is falling apart and the doors have alarms but are all stuck together on the wrong side so they don’t even work. The dryer keeps popping open and spilling all the clothes out and The top level has awful water pressure and barely any hot water. There are crazy signs all over the house like if you unplug a tv or hook a game up there’s a fine. Now the positive - The location was great, the pool area is nice and the backyard was amazing to have for the kids to burn energy. We wouldn’t stay here again just due to the fact of the negatives that outweigh the positives.

Nice property

Nice property. Good sized back yard for children to play. Neighbors very friendly and helpful. Disappointed pool was not heated. Owner very helpful and quick to address any issues

Excellent stay for a family vacation

Beautiful home very close to the beach. House was big enough for my family of 10 and 1 infant close to shops and restaurants. Loved the outdoor pool and hot tub. Highly recommend

Great property

The property was very clean and accommodated our large group of 7 couples/14 adults very well. We enjoyed the hot tub and the beach is just a short walk. The living area and kitchen are very spacious and accommodated our large group very comfortably. The owner was responsive to messages for the most part. The refrigerator in the kitchen on the main level was not cooling sufficiently and was iced over, and upon reaching out to the owners, they were out of town and did not plan to service the refrigerator until after we left. We were able to use the one in the basement game room, but it was not as convenient. The unit has multiple keurig machines, but only one coffee pot. Towels and linens were provided as advertised, but one bedroom did not have towels and upon reaching out to the owner we were told to go buy towels. Also, one towel was provided per person in the other bedrooms, whereas most hotels, etc provide 2 per person. Overall, it was great property and we enjoyed our time there!

Great stay!!

Wonderful house and very helpful property managers. Pool was excellent and lots of equipment in kitchen. Loved the couches in the living room. So comfy and lots of seating!

The home was just what we needed!

The home was beautiful and it was large enough to accommodate our extended family. There is plenty of room to move about and tons of dishes, glasses, and every kitchen utensil and gadget you can think of. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone with a large family and will book again!

Thanksgiving Vacation!

My family and I celebrated Thanksgiving at Just A Fluke. The house was a very nice, spacious and clean. The kitchen was well equipped with all cooking items and plenty of utensils. The property manager Liezl was wonderful, very helpful and quick to respond to all my text messages. My family and I had a wonder experience and made great memories at Just A Fluke.
