Do not stay here! Complete misrepresentation

Prior to our arrival we told the mgt company we were allergic to dogs and cats. They assured us the place would be cleaned thoroughly before our arrival and it wouldn’t be a problem. That was not the case. The place smells of dog and cat urine and feces. The flooring is disgusting. There are broken planks of flooring with mildew hidden underneath the rugs. The rugs were filthy. One had a very large blood stain on it & the second was also very dirty. The comforters had animal hair all over them. There were vines coming through the windows & into the home. We complained repeatedly throughout our stay to the mgt company & VRBO, who finally sent out air fresheners, cleaners who did the bare minimum & a carpet cleaner (which did not help with the smell) & one single comforter. The dishes were dirty, the shower puts out water that smells and leaves a film on you. The ”Smart TV” doesn’t work at all. The place was unlivable. We coughed continuously and had a difficult time breathing, which led to two trips to the hospital. The mgt company is out of the Country & difficult to deal with. This place looks nothing like the photographs. We asked the mgt company & VRBO repeatedly to place us in a new unit or give us our money back, but nothing was done. We got very tired of trying to deal with the mgt company and VRBO and finally ended up staying in a hotel, costing us more money. Neither the management company nor VRBO did anything about it. DO NOT STAY HERE! It was a nightmare!

Nothing like the online photos

The place was not ready when scheduled. The front door was unrecognizable. There was no useable outdoor space. The day bed broke when you sat on it, down to the mattress below. It was being held together with an “L” bracket. . You think the shower was going to be a redeeming quality, no water pressure. By the way, the bed in the bedroom was very uncomfortable with plastic on the mattresses and nothing was as it appeared in photos. We only stayed because a family member close by had passed.

Not the best first impression

I stayed at this property for one night. While the communication with the property team was quick and they promptly refunded a proportion of my stay, there were some notable issues with the property itself. The space had a strong smell of smoke, which made the stay less comfortable. Some of the furniture showed signs of wear and could benefit from a bit of care. Additionally, the outdoor area needed some attention to bring it up to its full potential.The responsiveness of the hosts was appreciated, but I hope these aspects can be addressed to improve the experience for future guests.

Charming and convenient

This space is very special. The daybed living room is very practical and for the cost, full access to all St. petersburg has to offer. The manager was very responsive to our questions and even gave us a weather warning on particular day. Will stay here again.

Misleading and poor management

I didn’t stay here for the entirety of my stay due to cockroach infestations flying inside the house. Not only that, but the floor was peeling up and cracking in the main floors, the day bed looked used without clean sheets, the sheets in the main room had red stains on them, the dirty and used broom/cleaning supplies were left in the main area, and the kitchen was very dirty and unkept. I felt the pictures posted did not do the actual place justice, this place is very run down and not clean. The many roaches flying around the house was the final straw. No refund process has started yet and I keep getting pushed to the next representative. Their responses are very automatic and don’t seem like I’m ever going to actually speak to someone about the issue. Do not book this place, I hope no one has to experience what I went through.

We enjoyed our stay and found it a good, central location between beach and downtown. Bus service was really handy for us, and Kyle was always ready to help.

Long term stay

We were staying 1 month and this place fitted us very well. Marta was very quick to respond. Norma, our weekly maid was great. It is hidden away from the street, so on line mapping may give the wrong impression. It is a nice clean suite, good appliances. Would not recommend for individuals with walking difficulties because of stairs and having to cross Hwy 200. Enjoyed our stay. Easy walk into downtown area , beaches and markets.
