Amazing, specious 4 bedroom private suite in this breathtaking, 15,000 sq/ft historic mansion just minutes from downtown, UC, Xavier, Children’s Hospital, Univ of Cincinnati etc.

The unit is equipped with a kitchenette, full bathroom, 4 bedrooms, massive living room and it’s own private entrance & patio. Allow up to 12 guests (3 queen beds, 1 trundle bed with twin over twin, and 2 queen air mattresses). Enjoy the beautiful garden and lush landscape on the property. Free off street parking also included! If you have children, there is a massive playroom!

Our guests will enjoy a private suite on the third floor of our historic home. You will have your own private entrance, completely separate from the rest of the home and over 4000 sq ft of space to enjoy. In addition, the 1.8 acre, fully gated property boosts lush gardens, secluded landscape, and various sitting areas around the grounds to enjoy.

Our family lives in the main house at Marion Hall Mansion and are available for anything you might need during your stay

North Avondale has been described as a piece of heaven...right in the city. Some of the grandest homes in Cincinnati grace the winding streets of this historic neighborhood. The homes here represent a wide range of architectural styles dating back to the late 1800s.

North Avondale is perhaps the most central neighborhood in Cincinnati - close to downtown, the Cincinnati Zoo, Xavier University & the University of Cincinnati.

The Marion mansion is exceptional! It is a unique place with a great history. Heather and Matt, and their dogs, are terrific hosts. There was ample room for our group to sit around a table and share stories together. We will gladly come back and send others!

This house is very unique and had a lot for our kids to do in the game room. It would have been nice if one of the beds were a king size, the rooms are massive and certainly could accommodate that. We only stayed one night but it was nice!

Cincinnati spring break adventure

Perfect for spring break adventure with the family - close to zoo, Newport Aquarium, Jungle Jim’s, and more. The property has a lot of character and we loved the huge shower. Check in / check out easy and owner is very friendly. Kids loved the animals on property too!

Wonderful historic home

The home is wonderful for families, there is a room where the kids can play and the adults can relax. The gardens are beautiful. The neighborhood is wonderful for walks. The zoo is nice and close. It was a wonderful stay.

Great place to stay

If you seek a unique place to stay when you're away, this is for you. The mansion is full of character and old-style charm, a craftsman's dream. It's close to downtown Cincinnati. Our Uber ride was $17 even on a busy night.

Beutiful histoic house and amazing property

There were a few issues the trundle beds linen was not up to par, and a few wrappers under it.Overall a beautiful place, the grounds were amazing, it was centrally located, and Matt and his wife were very nice.My my estimate it sleeps 6 adults, one small child and a teenager or smaller adult. And the sectional couch could squeeze a few in. I liked its charm

Overnight stay before aquarium visit

We had a nice time during our overnight stay with two young kids. Beautiful setup and comfortable, clean, rooms were cool in summertime and communication with host excellent. I highly recommend over staying in a hotel. Hope to stay again in future. Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Great location and property

Big thanks to Matt and his family for our VRBO experience. We had an amazing trip full of busy days and enjoyed coming back each evening to this fantastic home to gather as a family and rest/relax. Lot's of space in the private 3rd floor retreat. Nice neighborhood and really convenient to all the attractions we visited in and around Cincinnati. Great communication and service. We would stay again when coming back into town.

Spacious getaway in historic mansion

Had a nice stay. My only recommendations are perhaps upgrading the kitchen just a notch and a few little handyman touches. Host was very attentive and welcoming. All in all a very pleasant stay with a beautiful garden and chickens. :)

Couldn't ask for better hosts.

The property is amazing, and in a great location for anything within Cincinnati. The hosts were friendly and made the check in process quite painless. They assisted us with dinner recommendations, directions and even offered candles and hung out with us during a power outage the neighborhood experienced. I can easily recommend this property to anyone starting in the area.

Fun and Enjoyable Stay!

We only stayed a few nights, but we wished it could have been longer! The hosts were great to work with and very accommodating. The location was perfect, easily within many local attractions. The house was fabulous and so much fun! You have access to the whole 3rd floor, and it's so spacious and inviting. There were plenty of table or lounge spaces, and the bedrooms were all unique and spacious. It's a great place if you have kids, as they provide plenty of options to keep them entertained. We would certainly stay here again.

Family vacation to Cincinnati

The third floor of the Marion Hall Mansion was amazing! The playroom was a favorite of all our children. There was plenty of space for us to sit back and relax. The location of the home was great for us to be able to go out and enjoy the different areas of Cincinnati. The gardens were beautiful and we especially liked seeing the little lizards sunning themselves. We will definitely look to stay here again when we are back in Cincinnati!

Wonderful location and spacious comfort!

We came down from Michigan for a few days during spring break week and the mansion was such a wonderful place to stay and relax and rewind after busy days at the ark, aquarium and zoo! Matt was incredibly attentive and kind, and let us in about an hour ahead of check-in time because we arrived in Cincinnati in a bad rainstorm. The beds were comfortable and it was so spacious and homey! After hours in a car together it was great to be able to go to our own bedrooms and chill! I highly recommend this remarkable place and hope I have the opportunity to rent it again!

Way better than the ad lets on!

From our arrival to our departure, the whole experience defied our expectations. The space is ENORMOUS, and extremely awesome. As a family of historic house lovers, we were beyond thrilled. The entire neighborhood is gorgeous, we wished we'd had more time(guess well have to go back!). The pictures cannot accurately depict the space, as it defied my belief while I was in it! The family was amazing, the house is unreal, and the fact that we could bring our best four-legged friend was the icing on the cake. Perfectly set up for even the youngest guests, I would highly recommend this to anyone, whether single or a whole family.

A unique and beautiful place to stay.

It was a clean and spacious place with vintage style. The property itself is stunning. Sound doesn't carry and it gives a bit more privacy. The space had everything you could be looking for. It had games, for kids and adults. Nice living space where friends and family fit comfortably. All of the rooms are a good size and the beds were very comfortable. It has a mini fridge, coffee machine, air fryer, microwave and sink area with clean dishes. I didn't personally need them but there were also 2 cribs available for the families that need that. What more could you want? Highly recommend this place and if we ever have anymore parties in town, we know where to stay.

AHHHHMAZING!

I cannot tell you enough how much we loved our stay in the suite at Marion Hall Mansion! The grounds and exterior of the property are simply stunning. We loved the all of the outdoor seating and secluded nook under the willow tree. Our group aged in range from 60, 40s, 20s, 17, 7, and 18months old and EVERYONE loved the suite. Anyone who has ever traveled with children knows how challenging and stressful it can be so we were absolutely delighted to have found a truly toddler/child friendly location where we could all actually relax. The suite is very spacious and the grounds provide plenty of room to congregate together but also to spread out for quiet. Also, our bed was super comfy! We meant to strip the sheets to see what kind it was. :-) 10/10 would recommend and we hope to stay here again in the future.
