Welcome to CJ’s Hideaway, our modern A-frame in Star Harbor! This beautiful home is a warm and inviting getaway with all the updated modern finishes to delight you and your family.

Enter this stylish home on the main floor; an open concept living room and fully stocked kitchen. The fireplace is the ultimate feature wall, and the big screen television is where the family will gather after a day on the lake! This three-level home has four bedrooms, spread throughout the levels providing ample privacy for you and your guests.

The top level is a master suite providing the most private retreat after a day with family and friends. The main level has two bedrooms with queen beds and a guest bathroom with a bathtub. The bottom level has a fourth guest bedroom with a king and double size bed and ensuite bathroom, giving plenty of sleeping options for all your guests. Finally, the bottom level also has another living area with big screen television and a private entrance to the oversized covered patio in the backyard which gives all your guests the opportunity to spread out and enjoy their stay!

The deck, off the main level of the home, is the highlight of the backyard! The outdoor kitchen is a chef’s dream, and you will want to spend all your time gathered around the bar as the grilling commences. The television is an entertaining must-have, and the outdoor living and dining area will help cement your reputation as the hostess with the ‘mostest’!

Venture into the yard from the outdoor staircase from the deck or the private entrance from the bottom-level of the home and enjoy the sunset around the fire pit. Head to the private dock for swimming, fishing, and sunbathing (on the rooftop sundeck). You are welcome to tie up your boat or jet ski during your stay.

Relaxing getaway

The property was beautifully designed with high end materials. We enjoyed all views and comfory of the property. There were no TVs in the berooms, only the main spaces but actually it was very delightful. Loved it!

Weekend getaway

We enjoyed staying at the property. The location was easy to find and the property met all of our expectations. Although stormy weather limited our time outside, I can easily imagine that the lakefront view is quite wonderful on a warm sunny day.

Great Location

We had a wonderful time at this property. House was perfect for us. The area is quiet and great for walks through the neighborhood. We brought our jetski, and although we were not able to use the lift, we were able to tie it up to the dock pretty easily. The hosts were great. They replaced the broken TV, provided baking dishes, and extra towels. We will definitely return!

Beautiful lakehouse

My whole family was impressed with the beautiful lake house! We had a great stay during Thanksgiving and enjoyed the water views, especially during sunset. There was plenty of space for everyone in the family and the kids enjoyed the outdoor space and games.

Weekend of Relaxation

The view from the home overseeing the lake was beautiful at anytime of day. The beds were very comfortable. There is a full restroom on each floor which is very convenient. The patio is big and has a big table to sit and have dinner or play boardgames with your family while enjoying the sound of the water. The firepit in backyard was perfect to make smores with the kiddos. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great Location

We stayed for the 4th of July weekend and we loved the house. It was very clean and well kept. It was the perfect location if you want to hang out at the beach and for watching the air show. The convenience of the boat ramp next door was worth the stay alone! The only complaint we had was the water stayed choppy by the house because of all of the boat traffic to and from the beach and the steps into the water were so slippery you couldn’t even use them. Other than that, it was a great house. We would definitely stay again!

Wedding weekend

Wonderful weekend! Beds were comfy; host went over and above communicating and preparing for our stay! It was very helpful having basic seasonings and aluminum foil on hand for the meals we prepared.

Great Weekend Getaway

We stayed a long weekend with two families and a few of our children’s friends. Great house with plenty of room. Amazing views from the back deck and boat dock. You can see so many stars from the top deck of the boat dock. Everyone in our group loved the house. The south end of the lake is my favorite spot. Would stay here again.

Beautiful setting for a relaxing weekend

The goal for the weekend was to fish and relax. My whole group loved the house and the dock to fish (minus catching some turtles along with fish). The property is completely updated and in a quiet area. There was plenty of room and beds.

Great location with a great view of the water.

It was bright and spacious on the main floor with access to a large deck overlooking the water. There was also a lower level so the teenagers could have their own space. We all had our own bedrooms and with 3 bathrooms and with 6 females that was a plus.

Great House & Location!

We had a great time! The house feels big and is very cozy. We were just 4, 2 kids and 2 adults, and we feel it can easily host a much larger group. The 1st floor layout is awesome for kids/teens, the kitchen is new and well equipped, and all beds are very comfortable. The location is ideal and the sunsets from the deck are unbeatable. Our host Morgan was very prompt to reply and very accommodating. Wish we could stay longer!

Best Morher’s Day weekend

What an amazing place! Beautiful inside and out. We didn’t spend much time inside but when we did we had everything we needed. Spent most of the weekend out of the dock. Beautiful view and quiet cove. I caught so many fish from the dock it was so fun. Thanks to the hosts. You guys were responsive and available- great communication. Will stay here again and recommend to friends.

Quiet and relaxing

Loved the property. The living area, kitchen and deck had great views and we enjoyed the quiet. You can hear people at the boat launch and neighbors but it is not intrusive at all; mostly normal neighborhood noise. The beds were comfortable on the main floor; we didn’t use the master because we didn’t want to climb the stairs and we had plenty of room without it. Downstairs area was great as well. Plenty of amenities. I would definitely stay here again!

Lots of Sleeping Arrangements

This property was great! Perfect for all of the groomsmen who required separate beds. Everything was clean and host response times were so fast when a problem arose. I personally loved the “lake junk” drawers for when we needed random things so might be good to know this is not spotless empty cabinets brand new property like other vacation rentals. Perfect for a true lake like weekend! My only concern is we never received check out instructions so not sure we did things right.

Not happy campers!!

We are not happy campers!! When we checked in on Friday Oct.20th we had to carry all of our luggage,igloos etc. up a flight of stairs, which is not good when you have had a knee replaced! We went to get ice from the dispenser on the refrigerator door and noticed the change water filter light on. Water would not dispense either. I had to use the plunger to get the toilet to flush 2 times. Also the fan on the A/c never shut off the whole time we were there for 3 days(noisy).we cooked out steaks on the grill Sat. Night no problem.Then on Sunday night we were going to cook out again and the propane bottle tank was empty and (luckily) there was a spare tank beside the grill and had to change that out.You need to put a pressure gage on the tank so people will know how much propane is left! If it was a guest who did not know anything about grills then they would be mad as I was. Sorry to be so but we are in our 70's and expected every thing t be in working order!!

Family Memorial Day weekend at the lake

This is our second time staying at this property. It has great space for us, our kids and grandkids! Unfortunately a big, unexpected storm rolled through on Saturday morning and we lost electricity for over half of the day, as did others in the neighborhood. The host, Morgan, was very responsive reaching out to us to check to make sure we were ok. Otherwise we had a great time! Thanks for a fun weekend!

Great house

We rented this home for a get together with family and friends for my husband’s 40th birthday. The house was beautiful and spacious. The view of the lake is wonderful and we enjoyed the use of the outdoor grill.
