Cudahy cottage

The house was very clean and had a great fenced in yard for our dog. Host provided a poop scooper and an ex-pen, which was nice. There might be better choices for people with mobility issues as the main floor bathroom was very tight and the stairs to the upper level and basement were very steep. Getting in the garage from the alley is difficult if you have a large SUV. Neighborhood was very safe and walkable. Overall, a reasonably priced, nice, cozy house.

Cozy and very clean house with great backyard for dogs

This is the second long term stay I have spent here. It's immaculate, fully stocked with anything you could want and has a fabulous fenced in yard for pets. The neighborhood is safe and charming. Owners respond to questions or requests immediately. I couldn't love this house more. l love this pwill be back!

Wonderful

We loved our stay. The house and neighborhood was wonderful. The house is 4 blocks from Lake Michigan and only blocks from many nice restaurants. Sheri let us know how we could get our dogs down to the beach. We (dogs included) had a great time. Thank you so much!

We were in town for the harley-Davidson music festival. The location of the house was perfect. We got anywhere we wanted to go to in about 15 minutes. The house was clean and had everything we needed. Thank you!

Wonderful

The home is wonderful; very clean with everything you could need. The hosts were very responsive to our requests; even provided extra rugs when we told them our older dog was having trouble on the wood floors. The neighborhood is perfect; quiet and private yet close to shops, restaurants, gorgeous parks, and a quick trip to downtown Milwaukee. *It needs to be noted that the stairs to the upstairs bedrooms and bathroom are very steep. We have stairs at home but our dogs could not navigate these stairs. These may be difficult for elderly humans as well. The upstairs bedrooms and bathroom are beautiful; spacious and well appointed, and equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. So if stairs are not a problem, you will have full access. The backyard is great; fully fenced so we could pop our dogs out the back door and we felt secure to let them explore. The hosts really have thought of everything and this is a wonderful property in a great location.

Great Stay!

This was a perfect place to stay with our toddler. I contacted Sheri before our stay to confirm if there was a pack and play. She not only confirmed but also had multiple items pulled out for us to utilize. There are steep stairs but baby gates are installed for safety. At one point I contacted her for an item I couldn’t find and she promptly replied with a photo to indicate what it would look like. You’ll want for nothing if you stay here!

Family emergency

The property was exactly what we saw on the pictures. My only concern was the rooms upstairs. The stairs are too steep and i had three elders with knee problems. This should be specified on the description of property. It was overall a great stay!

Great stay

The property is beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet! The location is great. 15 minutes to downtown. 7 minutes to the airport. Hosts very informative and the house has many personal touches that’ll make it feel like home.

Lovely House in Great Neighborhood

I couldn't have loved my stay more. The house is exactly as advertised, stocked with everything you could possibly imagine you would need. The owners are generous and very responsive while at the same time not at all intrusive. The home was immaculate, and the neighborhood is charming and safe and not far from the lake. The fenced in yard was perfect for my dogs and they loved going for walks in the neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable. I honestly have nothing negative to say. My only caveat is that the stairs to the two bedrooms upstairs are somewhat steep so it would not be good for people with mobility issues, but there is a bedroom (and bathroom) on the main floor. I definitely plan to return, highly recommend!

Stay away in Cudahy

Very nice property. We enjoyed sitting on the porch with the chairs that were there. The airport being so close was a worry but turned out to be a non issue. They have just about anything you need there for your stay and we wish the was an itemized list prior to arrival so we knew not to bring some things. Quiet neighborhood. Our grandkids passed through to see us our last day and it was enjoyable. Im sure had it not rained so much PTA the grass would have been cut.

Home Away from Home

This was a perfect place to call home while my family was in town for a graduation. The neighborhood was very quiet yet so close to everything we needed. The home was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. The host was responsive with a last minute request to add an additional night which made a huge help to us with an unexpected event. I will definitely be staying here next time I’m in town!

Amazing property, every detail covered

Excellent home, excellent host, and excellent attention to detail! Host had the home decorated for Christmas, including Christmas tree and lights inside. It was very special for my whole family. The home is very spacious. There is a very convenient office where I was able to work and take private phone calls. The bedrooms were all very nice and had extra blankets. Tons of storage that made our nearly two-week stay very comfortable. Both bathrooms had better than hotel amenities, extra towels, soaps, shampoo, conditioner. The basement had washer and drier with all the soap necessary to keep up with laundry while away. The kitchen had tons of extra plates, cups, cutlery and cooking supplies. A private garage made in-and-out comfortable and safe, though the neighborhood was quiet and very safe. It was wonderful. It snowed, and sidewalks were promptly uncovered for us — better than any hotel. Also, my family enjoyed the history of the home. Built in 1902, it is one of the original houses built in the historic Cudahy neighborhood. You would never know the home is so old, it has tons of great updates, but it also definitely has some original charm. We walked with our children to historic restaurants, and were able to jump on the highway very nearby to get in and out of the city. Overall we would definitely return, and hope you consider this wonderful home and host.

We clean and maintain the property ourselves (no big company with management services). Service is important to us, so we like to listen to what our guest tell us about the property and improve it.
