Breathe in the freshest mountain air, take in beautiful views and unforgettable sunsets, listen to bird song, be enchanted by starry night sky (no light pollution!), or simply enjoy the peace and quiet while bonding with nature.

The house faces endless woods and is located on a quiet road. Step outside and enjoy acres of forest. Enjoy a brand new 6-person capacity hot tub steps from the door.

Find elements of nature inside the house. Wondering why our house is named Whootsville? You’ll find out as soon as you arrive! The upper level of the house has a spacious welcoming living area, a large dining table, and a fully stocked kitchen. The lower level has 2 bedrooms, a lounge/work area, 1 full bathroom, and one half bathroom. The first bedroom has a full sized bed. The second bedroom has a full sized bunk bed (2 beds), conveniently equipped with steps to allow both young and old to use the top bunk. The lounge area on the lower level has a sleeper sofa that folds out to a comfortable queen size bed.

The hot tub is private and for your personal use and yours alone during your stay.

Guest has access to the entire house

I’m local and available for emergencies during your stay.

In the spring and summer, you will be surrounded by lush green landscape and birdsong. In the fall, you will see beautiful foliage. In the winter, you may be surrounded by fresh powdery snow. The house is 17 mins from Windham and 25 mins from Hunter Mountain.

4 wheel drive or all wheel drive is recommended during the winter months.

There is no television at the house but we have high speed Starlink internet that you are welcome to use with your own devices. There’s no AC or dishwasher. Usage of the indoor wood burning stove is prohibited due to insurance risk, but you are welcome to use the outdoor fire pit. Our gas and electric heaters do a great job heating up the house during cold days, and the Catskills cool summer nights typically keep the house nice and cool in the summer.
