The Neighborhood: Playa Hermosa is a small village with one of the safest and most calm beaches in Costa Rica.There you will find and ample amount of restaurants and sodas plus a small grocery store and pharmacy. A soda is a small Costa Rican family run restaurant with fresh home cooked food at reasonable prices. About 15 minutes away is Playas del Coco. In Coco, there are many restaurants, bars, shops, casinos, banks, and four grocery stores.
Located directly on the beach in Playa Hermosa, only 20 minutes from the Liberia Airport. This villa is part of a one of a kind luxury beach complex, Sol y Mar. Rentals on the beach in Costa Rica are difficult to find and at best rarely modern and new. Here you have the best of all worlds. Newly constructed and completed in 2007, these luxury villas are 2400 sq ft with 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Only the finest materials were used in the construction.
There are only 12 total units in the complex thereby assuring the discriminating renter the exclusive resort atmosphere unavailable in other complexes. At your door step you will find one of Costa Rica's finest 'Blue Flag' beaches. One mile long, Playa Hermosa is rarely crowded. There are plenty of water activities to keep you busy. The pool's complex is two tiered with water cascading from one level to the other. The pool offers unobstructed views of the Bay of Hermosa and the greatest sunsets that you will ever see.
A dozen restaurants, several within a few minutes walk, can be found in Playa Hermosa.
