Charming pet friendly house

Location was nice and quiet. House was cute and clean. Backyard was great for our pup. All in all, it is comfortable house that I would recommend for your next trip.

Charming home in perfect location

Great place in Memphis

Older house in a safe (one of our concerns) quiet neighborhood. Nicely updated and really felt like home. Worked great for me, my wife and our dog during our three night stay. Comfortable bed, big fenced yard, shopping and dining within a mile of house, and within 15-20 minute drive to all the tourist spots in Memphis. One of the better VRBO homes we've rented and we really enjoyed our stay at this property.

Spring Stay

The host made everything very simple and had everything available that was needed. The pack n play was very helpful during bedtime for our 1 year old, and was one less thing for us to cram into the car with 2 other kids. The house was clean and comfortable. It is very close to the Children's Museum of Memphis, which was a hit!

It was a Match

Our son is graduating from Medical school and he what they call a “Match” ceremony, that we attended, to see where he will do his residency. The stay was great since it was close to our event.

Comfy Home

Great stay and a nice cozy home

Was in town for the St. Jude marathon and stayed with my family here. This was a nice clean finish place in a great neighborhood and centrally located to a lot of great places. The host was great with any questions as well. Would definitely stay here again if we come to Memphis again!

Quiet Neighborhood

We were wary about staying in Memphis due to the crime statistics, but this neighborhood felt really safe. Great house with a lot of charm.

Still loving this rental for my annual visit to my hometown. Conveniently located to go in any direction in Memphis and surrounding areas. House is comfortable and meets all my needs.

Cute house in safe neighborhood

Definitely a quiet neighborhood and a short drive to shopping, restaurants, and Memphis attractions. Comfortable beds, convenient laundry room, and plenty of room to stretch out in the family room. My only mistake was not checking that the home was pet friendly and unfortunately my daughter had allergy issues during our stay. Otherwise a great stay.

A nice clean and comfortable house close to UofM and downtown.

A group of us stayed here for the NCAA tournament. It was a perfect home base as it was a nice quiet and safe neighborhood but close enough to downtown. The owner communicated with us throughout to make sure everything was ok. A highly recommended place to stay for a trip to Memphis.

Second Stay

This was our second stay at this wonderful house. Suffice it to say, it will not be our last. Over a variety of lodging experiences in Memphis, we haven’t found a better combination of location, comfort, convenience, security and value than this great house. Stephne’s impeccable hosting is the real difference maker. Already looking forward to our next experience here.

Excellent Memphis Location

I visit my hometown annually usually in hotels, until finding this awesome house on a quiet, safe street in a very central location. I could easily visit friends and family nearby and go up and down Walnut Grove to Germantown/Collierville to visit everyone else. It had everything I needed for a good night sleep and lounge around in-between my activities. Highly recommend!

Stylish Retreat

This is the way to stay! Its charm and coziness wrap around you as you enter. The spacious family room is comfortable and inviting. A well-appointed kitchen adjacent to it allowed for a homelike experience. I was pleasantly surprised to discover a French press there. Yay! I got to have my morning coffee as I do at home. Each of us had our own bedroom, another plus. Stephane was easily available by phone or text and quickly responsive. It was a wonderful stay.

Visiting son in Memphis

WOW! I cannot say enough about Stephne's property and Stephne's communication! This home is absolutely lovely and oh, so comfortable. Beautifully appointed and the huge back yard is so nice to relax with a cup of coffee glass of wine. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely! Great to walk our pup around. We were able to host a few of our son's friends for dinner and games in the yard...a big hit with the guys and our pup. Stephne was extremely receptive to all of our questions and offered great suggestions of things to see & do in Memphis. We will definitely be back!

Spring Break Baseball Week

Our son plays college baseball in the area and we needed a quiet, comfortable place for a weeklong stay over spring break. The home was as advertised and way more! Spotless and well-appointed, with safe driveway parking and a great kitchen & family room. One of the many great features is the fenced, spacious backyard. Perfect for our 9-year old Labrador. But Stephne is the one who puts this property over the top for us. She accommodated a last-minute one-night extension (which was quite reasonably priced) and was immediately responsive to every inquiry. She is very proactive with providing important details and checking in at just the right time. Five stars all around!

Lack of Maintenance and Missing Information

We stay at a lot of vacation rentals and unfortunately, this was the worst experience to date. Upon arrival it was apparent that the property had not been prepared for our visit. The porches, entrances and driveway were blanketed with wet leaves blocking view of potential hazards (e.g., steps, curbs). This coupled with an undisclosed very narrow driveway entrance resulted in damage to our new SUV. Neither the host nor VRBO addressed our complaint of material misinformation and violation of VRBO’s booking with confidence guarantee even after our sending pictures and attempts at amicable communications. It was a missed opportunity for the host and VRBO to stand by their claims. Unfortunately, we will now have to pursue resolution with the help of outside counsel and involvement.

Great location

What a lovely house to have as a home base during our trip to Memphis! It is conveniently located on a quiet block in a safe, centrally-located part of the city. The house was comfortable and clean, and it provided us with a quiet place to rest during our trip to visit family. We had some issues with the key pad when we first got there, but Stephne was very communicative and helped resolve the issue right away. I would definitely stay there again!

I love this charming home away from home. My family and I stay here often while visiting my daughter who attends the University of Memphis. It has such a cozy feel and since it was built in the 1940 it is full of quirky character. I love the backyard and quiet street. I feel very safe whenever I stay here. Another favorite is I can walk to Brother Juniper's for breakfast.
