Great spot, plenty of space for a group of 5 and within a reasonable distance to a lot of things. Owner is phenomenal with communication!

Wonderful stay

Our family had a very enjoyable weekend. We will definitely refer to friends & family for future stays. We love to cook & the kitchen had everything we needed. It has a beautiful view of the mountains.

Great location near WCU

Great cabin with modern interior and extremely comfortable beds! Easy to get to Dillsboro and WCU. We enjoyed or stay and would return!

Wonderful stay!

This is a lovely home, well equipped with everything you need, lots of living space, very comfortable beds, and perfect for kids! We enjoyed the property and nearby Sylva and Dillsboro. We spent a day at Smoky Mountain National Park at a swimming hole (Midnight Hole) followed by a trip to Cataloochee to see the elk. It was the perfect house for our quick trip!

Great stay away

We enjoyed this house, it felt very homey! We visited Cherokee and downtown Sylva which were a short drive away. Very clean and beds were very comfortable.

Great Place in the Mountains

Me and my family took a trip to the Polar Express Train and this place was approximately 20 mins away which was perfect. It was clean and made us feel right at home while away from home. It’s perfect for a quick get away and very peaceful. I would recommend! 10/10 :)

Family Trip

The house is fantastic and very well stocked. We enjoyed the fire pit out back and the location is beautiful. We had everything that we could possibly need and the beds were super comfy. I would highly recommend this location for a mountain getaway and the house is large enough for the whole family. I am sure we will be back.

Amazing Weekend of Hiking

This was a weekend getaway for 6 friends to do some hiking in the Apalachin trails. Cathy, the host, was absolutely amazing, always checking in on us and immediately responded to any questions. The house was BETTER than the photos. Often times, it is the opposite. Kitchen was extremely well stocked with just about everything you need. Of all the rentals I have stayed in, this is by far the most well-kept and best experience you can ask for. Not to mention the mountain top views! I would certainly book another stay here again.

Perfect stay!

We had a great experience staying at Cathy’s house during our trip to the Cherokee area. The house was clean, well stocked kitchen with plenty of pots and pans, comfortable beds, and a good layout for spending time together as a family. My little ones had fun playing in the toy room (fun unexpected surprise!) and my teenagers liked the fire pit. I highly recommend!!

Just perfect!

The place was lovely and provided the perfect place to be home base during graduation festivities. Short drive to downtown Dillsboro and Sylva, 15 minutes to WCU and about 25 minutes to Harrahs in Cherokee. The host was very responsive and the place was well appointed to provide for our needs. Loved the furnishings, and beds were comfortable. Accuracy of listing only gave 4 stars because the listing mentioned pool/community pool somewhere but I saw no sign of one. I didnt see pictures of one in the listing so I thought it might be an error. It was not warm enough anyway so it was no big deal. Would stay again if I am in that area.

Nice house

We visited a couple of weeks ago to go to the Polar Express in Bryson City. The house is beautiful on the inside. There was plenty of room for all 9 of us. It looks like the owners are still doing some remodeling or upgrades as the extra sitting room downstairs with the tv you can watch is not completely furnished and is VERY cold even with the tiny heater that was available to use. There are no blinds or drapes in the room either and it was super uncomfortable to sit in there at night. The other tv downstairs is only for the gaming system and it was not connected and the owner never got back to me about how to connect that. The beds were comfy. The thermostat auto sets to 64 degrees at night. The kids loved the toys and the play area was a pleasant surprise. We did not have enough towels for all 9 of us but the owner was taking care of that for the next guests. We had to wash towels to have enough. The dryer can’t handle too many items at a time so it took a long time to get all of our towels dry. The owner did offer for me to go buy towels and send her the receipt but we had already been to Walmart and it was nighttime. Also, if you use your gos, it tells you to go left to get to the house. Well, you can’t get through that way it’s blocked so you need to turn right. The house does not fit the neighborhood it is located in. It is WAY too beautiful for its location. It’s a good place to go if you just want to be at the house and hang out. There’s not much to do otherwise.

Wonderful updated Cabin 10/10

The inside of this cabin is beautiful and looks newly updated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It had all of the amenities you may need and was fully stocked. There was also plenty of room for 6 people. It is in a great location near hiking and beautiful quaint towns. We will stay here again!

Love! Love! Love!

We absolutely loved staying here! There were 8 of us and we had plenty of space! The house was exactly as described and beautiful on the inside! We loved sitting on the porch and looking at the views of the mountains! The beds were absolutely wonderful! Cathy was super friendly and a huge help to us whenever we needed her! We would absolutely stay here again and definitely recommend!

Lovely house and great location for WCU graduation

We had a wonderful time. The house was perfect! Everything was beautiful, clean and very well thought out. The house is totally stocked with everything you would need or even want. They went above & beyond with hospitality. We also enjoyed the fire pit on Saturday night after a long day celebrating my son's graduation. Comfortable beds, furniture and surroundings. If we are in the area again would love to come back. Can not say enough good things about this house and owner.
