My second time renting the house this summer. Conveniently located with a spacious porch, nice lawn and views of the lake. Lovely place that feels like home. The well-appointed property (the owner seems to have thought of everything!), comfortable layout, and immaculate rooms are so inviting. The owner is helpful and responsive. I look forward to staying here again next summer.

Perfect in every way. This was our 2nd stay at Darcy’s beautiful and extremely clean and comfortable home. Check in was easy, communication with the host was always prompt, and Darcy has prepared an informative guide to the property and to the Berkshire area. Biking in the Berkshires

Amazing home that was exactly as the listing description. Kitchen had ample cookware, utensils, and dishes to cook full meals. Comfortable beds with updated baths were perfect for our family. Darcy was gracious and responsive when we requested access to the kayaks. Fresh flowers made it feel like a 5 star hotel!

Lovely Retreat

Wonderfully quiet and peaceful location with easy access to the lake. Very centrally located to enjoy all that the area has to offer, theater, music and dance venues, museums, and outdoor activities. This beautiful home is well configured with two bedrooms and two bathroom and comes with lots of thoughtful touches. Kitchen has glassware of every shape and kind and lots of serving pieces, but you might not have what you need for any serious cooking. Owners were very responsive to questions. and have provided lots for you to enjoy. We'd definitely come back.

We were very happy with our stay at the cottage. It is just as it looks in the pictures - beautifully decorated, full of amenities, and in a great location near the water. We were there for four nights and we wish it was longer. Can't wait to go back!

We came to the area to celebrate Thanksgiving with local family! Enjoyed a nice walk around the state park nearby. Then relaxed at the cottage on the comfy couch!!

Beautiful home, great host!

The house was super clean and beautifully decorated. Two bathrooms, each with a shower ,was great to have.The location was an easy drive to the Berkshire attractions we wanted to visit. The communication with Darcy was amazing with an easy check in/check out. The host thought of everything a guest would need to feel at home. We can't wait to return!

Greate home with all you need.

Stayed Friday to Sunday for ice fishing weekend. House had everything u need, linens, towels, paper products, blankets etc. Everything in house was new. Owners were great with communication. Would stay again.

Great property with many thoughtful touches .Two couples stayed for a concert at Tanglewood and can’t say enough good things . From the ultra comfortable front porch with lake views for breakfast to the grille , picnic tables and beautiful kitchen for dinner. Absolutely perfect ,will be back soon!

The house was spotless and beautifully decorated; well stocked w anything you might need during a vacation; easy access to markets, cultural sites, recreation options plus a covered porch w comfy chairs; and a hot tub! The hosts are readily available, welcoming, friendly, caring and professional. When in the area, this would be a happy and risk/stress free VRBO choice.

I’ve always wanted to see James Taylor at Tanglewood and this visit exceeded all expectations! College friends joined us, the concert was wonderful AND this cottage was perfect! It is charming, conveniently located in the midst of the Berkshires, and has everything you could possibly need. Checkin was seamless and clean is an understatement - it was pristine! I particularly enjoyed having French press coffee on the front porch in the morning with the lake peeking through the trees. ~thanks for the memories

Wonderful Property

Darcy's home is a great place to stay. From the tasteful decorations to the hot tub to the fire pit to the cleanliness, etc, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at her home. The home is fully stocked with anything you may need. We appreciated the beach towels for use with the hot tub as well as all the extras that she supplied. Other than food, we did not need to purchase anything for our stay. She had all paper products, coffee pods, soap, shampoo, etc. She even left us two bottles of wine and a beautiful vase of flowers. It's these touches that make this property above the rest. The location is excellent also - very near Mt. Greylock, the Hancock Shaker Village, The Mount and many restaurants. We would definitely stay at Darcy's again.

Berkshires Getaway

We stayed in Pittsfield to attend a concert in Tanglewood. As we were with another couple, we needed a house with two bedrooms and two baths. The house is new and sparkling clean-really immaculate and adorable. Hot tub is new and was nice and warm. The house sits on a slope, up and across the street and up a few houses from the lake, but an easy walk down the hill and across the road for lake access. Tanglewood was about 25-30 minutes down Rt. 7, and the house is also an easy drive to the quaint towns of the Berkshires. Thank you, Darcy, for all the thoughtful details and the cleanliness of the house!

Just Perfect!

Darcey’s home is spotless, beautifully decorated, conveniently located and has everything you need for an easy, stress free stay. The neighborhood is walkable and the people in the area are very friendly. We were busy with the many activities in the vicinity and were not able to enjoy the hot tub or the provided kayaks and bicycles, but we know from friends living in Pittsfield, that Pontoosuc Lake is great for kayaking and other water sports and that there are many places to bike. Darcy's home is one place we wished we could have stayed longer and hope to be able to return to someday. Thank you Darcy. You are an amazing, responsive, and thoughtful host and your home is just stunning!

After determining it to be a total loss we tore it down and began the build of the current home. Overlooking beautiful Pontoosuc Lake, we invite you to sit back, relax and enjoy the view!
