Our home, the Dashing Deer Chalet, is the perfect place for you and your family or group to create lasting memories. Whether you are coming for a weekend getaway or staying for a week or two, there is plenty to do including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, biking, swimming, fishing, rafting, tubing, waterparks and more but if you prefer a more relaxing experience you can relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the woods.

The outdoor hot tub is perfect for unwinding after a busy day or to shed the stress of everyday life. Don't be surprised if deer stop by to graze while you're soaking in the tranquility of nature.
Adults and kids alike will love the game room with arcade games, foosball, air hockey, and hot shot basketball. Two separate living areas with smart tv's for all your streaming services provide ample space for everyone to spread out and enjoy themselves. The expansive deck provides a great place to enjoy a morning cup of coffee, read a book or enjoy some smores by the fire table.

The fully equipped kitchen has all you need to prepare delicious meals and the large dining table and adjoining breakfast bar seat 14 people so everyone can enjoy dining together.

With three king beds, two queens and twin bunks for kids, you'll love the luxurious mattresses, linens and pillows which are sure to provide a restful night's sleep. The two full baths are conveniently located on each floor and come with hotel quality towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body gel.

Centrally located but tucked away in a private community the community pool (seasonal) and lake are just a short 5 minute drive away and hiking, biking, skiing, water parks, tubing, rafting, paintball and ATV's are all close by.

Awesome getaway!!

Four adults and two toddlers having a magical experience at the chalet! Super clean home, awesome and quick communication with the owners, and extensive toys and amenities make you feel like you’re in a five star resort! Will definitely look to book again whenever we’re in the Poconos region.

Perfect stay

The host is incredibly accommodating and the home was very well stocked. We had so much fun during our stay and the playroom downstairs was a huge hit for our kids. The kitchen has everything you need and there was even a s'mores kit provided. Lastly we found the beds to be very comfortable. I would highly recommend this property for your stay in the Poconos.

Beautiful House

My family and I stayed here for a long weekend and we had a wonderful time. The house was beautiful, spacious, and very clean. There was so much to keep 2 adults and 4 kids busy - from the hot tub, to the game room, to deer watching - and the extras (coffee bar, s'mores fixings) were just icing on the cake. William was immediately responsive when I had any questions, and we would love to stay here again. Thanks for sharing your wonderful house with us!

Clean

The house is clean and features an updated decor. If you are not familiar with the area know that the options for dining out are limited, so the kitchen is key. Also, if your family has any mobility issues know that this is not the house for you. The host was welcoming and a great communicator. He takes pride in his business and it shows.

Great Host, Fantastic Home

William’s home was beautifully decorated, spotlessly cleaned and well maintained, just as depicted in the photos. The hot tub was fantastic and we appreciated all the thoughtful/useful added touches around the home; k-cups, popcorn, towels, laundry detergent:) The community is quiet and well cared for and there are many sweet deer roaming about. There are tennis and pickle ball courts and volleyball court( bring your own equipment) an outdoor pool and community beach area. There is also a cafe/bar and peddle boats which can be rented for $20/ hour. The community lacks decent signs, but we explored a bit and were able to find all the amenities. William was an exceptional host; attentive and quick to reply with kind and informative responses. It is clear that he takes extreme care and pride in this home and welcomes his guests wholeheartedly. The Poconos did not provide great weather for us, but we certainly appreciated William’s hospitality, attention to detail and super vacation home. Thank you, William.

I'm from the suburbs of Philadelphia and have been coming to the Pocono Mountains all my life. As a child, I made some wonderful family memories. I can vividly recall family trips in the summer to the lake where we would boat, swim, fish and play all day and then have great meals together before roasting marshmallows and falling asleep to the peaceful sounds of the woods. In the winter, we would ski, sled and snowmobile all day before heading back to the house for a great meal followed by board games and a restful night's sleep. Now, my wife and I have two boys of our own and we're making similar family memories with them and our friends and family. We hope to provide you and your family with the same great experiences we've had over the years. The memories you make will last a lifetime and we truly hope you enjoy your stay!

In addition, the community is centrally located near all that the Pocono Mountains has to offer including water parks, hiking, biking, ziplines, paintball, train rides, skiing, shopping and more, all within 30 minutes from our home! You can sit back and relax and enjoy the peace and serenity of the woods or you can get out and enjoy the action of the Poconos!

Our home has plenty of room for 2-3 families with kids. With two separate and distinct living spaces the kids can enjoy playing games in the game room downstairs while the adults chat, eat or play board games upstairs. The outside deck offers a third living space and the outdoor hot tub provides additional respite for those who want to relax.. With so much to do right at our home and in the community many people never leave but if you want to venture out, our home is centrally located and a short drive to all the fun the Poconos have to offer!
