Enjoyed our stay!

The house was great, setup perfect for rentals. Plenty of space and fwell furnished. The owners went to a lot of trouble to make sure we had plenty of information on the areas activities and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice place to stay!!!

We spent two nights at The Retreat House and had a lovely time. We had a great time in the hot tub. The home was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well stocked with kitchen utensils and equipment. The house was also very clean. I would recommend this house to everyone.

Wonderful Getaway

Our family had a great time. The house is very high quality and comfortable. We were thrilled with the amount of cooking pans/crock pot/casserole dishes, tupperware, etc. The beds were comfy and bathrooms nicely appointed. Highly reccomended!!

Family Getaway

We have just returned from a great extended family vacation at Retreat House. It was a perfect fit for our family of 10. We were very pleased with the exceptional accommodations from the luxurious linens to the well equipped kitchen. Our grandchildren enjoyed the indoor and outdoor pools at the owners club and we all spent much time on the large enclosed porch.

Guy's Weekend Trip

Great space with a ton of square footage; great to have the gang under one roof while still leaving space for everyone to be comfortable. Amenities are great - game room downstairs, screened in porch, bonfire pit, massive grill, and hot tub all got plenty of use. Highly recommend this location for golf trips, getaways, and family vacations as there is a lot to do within a short drive. Would absolutely rent again and recommend!

40th Birthday Celebration

House was exactly as described and photos accurate. It had all the comforts of home and then some. Location was perfect and we had an awesome time. Cozy, comfy retreat from the outside world.

We go here every year with a group of friends for a winter getaway. We spend most of the weekend just idling around the house, cooking, playing games, enjoying the hot tub, building fires, and occasionally sledding. It's bliss.

Great Galena House!!

Bill was great froms start to finish, provided us with all teh information we needed for a perfect trip! The pricing on the house was the best by far that we saw for all the great ammenteties and location etc. The house was in exceptional condition and everything we needed was there, tons of space up and down, great rooms, towels and linens. If you rent a house in Galena you need to call Bill, the retreat house in outstanding!

Perfect home for a retreat getaway or girls weekend

This house was amazing. It was the perfect setting and set up for our retreat!!!! Everything was well equipped and very spacious. Amazing that 23 women can stay in one place and get the work done in the. Last relaxing environment. Most of all we had hot water the entire time We will definitely be using it again

Great Weekend Home!!!

Bill was great to work with leading up to the stay. We had 9 adults with plenty of space and seating. The beds are at least a queen size so every couple was happy - very comfortable too. The kitchen is fully stocked, so making meals was easy. Loved the hot tub in the evening and the grill was perfect. We rode horses during our stay and utilized the association pool as well. Highly recommend, Bill is a great renter.
