Paleontology, geology, native studies, birding, dining and outdoor recreation... Borrego Springs has it all. Elite cyclists train here on the "glass elevator" that is the Montezuma Grade. *We allow pets The state park does NOT allow dogs on hiking trails, not even on a lease ...so if you are hiking you will need to leave the dog at the house on our big porch, or take it to a dog sitter, or have a dog sitter come. When riding around sightseeing with your dog, keep in mind that if you stop and leave the dog in the car on a hot day someone will very soon say something. ...or worse, do something.
