Embrace the beauty of the Texas Hill Country at Tent #5 - Merlot, a pet-friendly glamping retreat nestled among the vines at 12 Fires Winery. Whether you're sipping wine under the stars, exploring scenic trails, or unwinding by the fire, your getaway is designed for relaxation and adventure.
Stay in Comfort, Surrounded by Nature
Your cozy glamping retreat "Merlot" is thoughtfully designed for a comfortable escape. Snuggle into the plush queen bed, enjoy a private bathroom with a hot shower, and make use of amenities like a microwave, coffee maker, mini-fridge, and wine glassesâideal for savoring local wines. While the heating and air conditioning ensure comfort to sleep at night, please keep in mind that it's still a tent, so the experience will differ from that of a house or hotel.
Please note, it is prohibited to leave pets unattended inside the unit.
A Pet-Friendly Retreat
Your furry friends are welcome! To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, pets must be leashed and not left unattended in the tent. A $50 penalty applies to undeclared pets, in addition to the standard pet fee.

Explore Pedernales Falls State Park for swimming, hiking, and horseback riding, or hike to breathtaking views at Enchanted Rock. Stroll through Johnson City and Fredericksburg, where boutique shops, galleries, and seasonal farmersâ markets showcase the charm of Hill Country. Pair handcrafted wines with wood-fired pizza, charcuterie boards, and our famous Martins Nutz (glazed pecans) at 12 Fires Winery. In town, indulge in local favorites like 290 Locale Winery & Pizzeria and Proof and Cooper at the Lumberyard.
**Weekday wine tastings are available by reservation.**

End your day by the fire pit with complimentary firewood, sharing stories and stargazing in the fresh night air. Fires are permitted unless a burn ban is in effect.
