NoMa is a transportation hub and the home of Union Market, a specialty food hall that is the epicenter of D.C.’s gourmet scene. The NoMa Business Improvement District (BID) organizes annual events to bring culture, music, artists and local farmers to the neighborhood while building community. Notably, it is hailed as one of the city's most bike-friendly zones.
