We really enjoyed our stay this past week. Family of four stayed for 10 days. The hammock was great, the beach right out the back door. Other than a few fisherman on the weekends, we had the entire beach to ourselves pretty much the entire week. We loved the east side of the island, the house was in good condition and the host, Pamela, extremely responsive. The beach house is a pure beach house with open windows (with screens on them), the internet works and the electricity was good most of the time. Went out for a day island wide, no problem. No AC, beach breeze. It was hot on days, but we went during the peak summer, we didn't care. It was exactly what we were looking for and there is always a place to cool off with the breeze. Our entire family had a wonderful time, felt safe and found the islanders to be very welcoming and friendly. Food is extremely expensive in general, but the restaurants produce great meals and there are lots of places to try out. Overall, highly recommended trip. If you scuba, snorkel, boat, hike, and are pretty active, it's one of the best. We really enjoyed the ocean biolumen kayak tour as well, thought it delivered especially if you have kids.

Paradise!

Great views of the ocean and plenty of privacy. Enjoyed having the pool and grill on the spacious deck. Property manager was helpful and informative. I can't wait to go back!

STX Beach House

If I had a beach house, it would be just like this one - perfect accommodations, right on the beach, lovely pool, proximity to dining - there's really nothing it's lacking. The house manager is kind and helpful and quick to respond. The owner is very easy to work with. My family enjoyed a few days out scuba diving and boating, but really, everyone was happy to stay at the house exploring the hiking trails, reading, walking the beach, playing cards on the porch or swinging in the hammocks. Relaxation at its finest. We hope to be back soon.

As soon as we walked in the front door myself and my family were taken back by the beautiful view of the beach and ocean. The vast majority of our time on property was enjoying the open-air veranda, sunbathing by the pool and enjoying the sandy beach with snorkeling and swimming in the ocean. The constant breeze made sleeping at night great with the sounds of the ocean waves lulling you to sleep. Pamela the property manager met us at the airport and had us follow her to the house, which was very helpful being a first timer to the island. Pamela was very attentive and helpful; I really can't say enough as to how she made my family's vacation enjoyable and a memory forever. We will definitely be coming back for another stay.

Paradise

It was my family’s first time in USVI and it was truly a paradise. The location was secluded and quiet and being beachfront and having a pool was a bonus. The house had everything we needed for our stay. We ventured out most days to explore the island but spent evenings kicking back here. Grapetree Resort is within walking distance and has great dining options. Pam was super helpful and responsive! My family is already asking when we can go back!

The house was great We loved the privacy and home amenities. Communication with the owner was great. We got tips from locals regarding better grocery stores. Seaside is really expensive.

An Overall nice stay.

The breezy beach house is in a private location with a beautiful view of Grapetree Bay. It is well named as the breeze is constant and relaxing. The coconut trees between the beach and house provide lots of shade and hammock time. Plenty of space in the common living room and veranda.

Fabulous Home!

This home provided everything required for a most memorable vacation. The views are stunning. The location is convenient to all activities/sights on the island. The home is very well-equipped from beach accessories to kitchen appliances. The owner is so responsive and ensures your stay is perfect. An overall 10 in our opinion!

Just what we needed

This villa was secluded JUST like we wanted. Walk onto your own beach or drive 4min to Grapetree restaurant. Towns close by with many yummy restaurants. Things we found in the home that we weren’t expecting-small cooler, laundry soap and snorkel equipment! Our end of June stay offered great weather.

Perfect beach getaway

This property is beautiful and located on a quiet road very secluded and private. We loved the pool, the large deck, great views of the water and never ending sound of the waves hitting the beach! Would recommend this beach house to anyone wanting a private beach getaway with all the amenities and complete privacy.

Beautiful location! Fantastic grounds. The house is as described. The new Grapetree Hotel is a 4 min walk down the street and has great lunch options. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect family vacation!

Our family of 5 had an amazing time on STX! This house was the perfect home base for our first time traveling to USVI. The pool, proximity to hiking trails and stunning views off the back porch made this a vacation we won’t forget!! We’d love to return soon!

Paradise Found

This home was described exactly as it is. Situated steps from the beach with a relaxing atmosphere and needed privacy was all we could hope for. We were able to take advantage of the snorkel and fins available at the house and the cooler and ice packs for day trips to Buck Island. We took a 2 1/2 mile hike through the rain forest to discover the tide pools that awaited us. A night out at the casino offered free drinks and complementary $15 slot machine plays! The owners were very responsive with any needs that the house had. Within a few hours the pool was cleaned and a minor plumbing issue was fixed. There were plenty of kitchen utensils, pots and pans, dishes everything you could need. We grilled steak and lamb chops on the gas grill. My husband and I felt quite at home. With the added bonus of waves from the Atlantic ocean luring us to sleep each night. Thank you for such a memorable vacation!

The place was more then we could have asked for. The pictures do it no justice you must see it to believe it. Your own private beach and private pool was so rewarding. It is on one of the best spots on the island. We traveled around the island and did all sorts of activities but couldn’t wait to get back to breezy beach. Some days we never left. I would highly recommend this place and I hope my family can come back for years to come!!

Gorgeous

Pam (Property Manager) and communication from the owners made this stay unforgettable. Having this be the first time on the island, they were very hospitable. They provided a wealth of information of where to eat, what to do and visit. The House was great. The constant breezes made it enjoyable at night to have natural air conditioning. Having the pool was great for our kids who love being in the water. I enjoyed the constant crashing of the waves. The beachfront can be a little treacherous in spots for swimming, but the island has plenty of other tranquil areas to visit. Looking forward to our next trip to Breezy Beach.

Grape Tree Bay

Breezy Beach was indeed breezy! The high ceilings and exposed wood beams make this place architecturally pleasing. The Breezy Beach book really helped with all the quirks around the house. Wi-FI worked when power was on. The cistern restart thing was an additional thing but happened just a few times. We lost power a few times. Everything works but the fridge could be updated as well as the dishwasher. Towels were adequate for the beach and home. The pool is lovely and was serviced during our time there. The house manager was generally responsive about information and the house. The access to the beach, the hammocks, walks to "pelican" rock and seeing the turtle tracks made this vacation magical. We will hopefully return again.

Perfect Location

The best thing this place has to offer is the amazing view! This property is located at a perfect spot! Beach just steps away, amazing lanai, & awesome pool! Pamela is a wonderful person who met us at the airport & guided us to the house, allowing us to stop for groceries. She even gave us some bags to use so we wouldn't have to pay for them. Very sweet lady. The house itself, however, really needs to be cleaned & repaired. All of the dishes needed to be washed before using them, so many cobwebs, a wad of hair wrapped up on a hairdryer in a drawer in the bathroom, cabinets have grease stuck on them & probably years worth of bugs stuck in the window screens. Light fixtures need replacing & exterior doors are seriously falling apart as well as the living room furniture. The listing reports the house does not have A/C but keeps fairly cool with windows open. This stands to be true BUT there is no screens for the sliding doors that open up the living room. So in order to get air into the house, you have to get eaten up by a million mosquitoes since there are no screens to keep them out. That being said, the price is lower than a lot of other places so maybe this is why. We were not happy about these things but we decided to make the best of it & we did. We had such a peaceful, relaxing, & wonderful time.

Carribean Paradise

If your looking for a great place to relax with the most beautiful and ideallic surroundings then this is the place for you! The house was furnished with everything you may need. Laying in bed listening to the waves every night, and the sea breezes blowing through the house was an amazing experience. Fairly remote so definitely need your own transport.

My husband and I, along with another couple, spent 10 days at Breezy Beach. The layout of the home is perfect and private as the bedrooms are on opposite ends of the home. The living area is expansive, with a wall sliding glass doors that open up to a stunning view of the large covered porch, pool and the ocean. All needed ammenities were there: towels, wifi, snorkle equipment, and full kitchen. The home is a bit dated and there is no air conditioning but the ceiling fans provide an adequate breeze in the evening. There may have been more beech area in the past but perhaps after storms, there is just a small beach area in front of the house. Also, you cannot swim in front of the house as the surf is rough and there are some big rocks. Further down the beach is an area that you can enter the water a little easier. We were hoping for snorkling in front of house, as someone had indicated in one of the reviews, but this was impossible secondary to the surf. All and all, Breezy beach was lovely, and we enjoyed our stay there.

Perfect relaxation

After a bit of a glitch regarding our arrival date, our stay at Breezy Beaches was all we had hoped for. Pam , the property manager, ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! We were met at the airport with smiles and a warm welcome. She helped us when we arrived at the house to find it not quite ready for our stay. She took the time to show us the turtle nests and ensured we were settling in. The owner, Lee ,contacted us the following day and made sure we had what we needed. His apology for the house not ready for our arrival was very sincere and went above and beyond to make up for it. The area is beautiful and our favorite activity was to hike to the amazing ,undisturbed natural beaches just a short distance away. Following closely for favorite activity would be the hammock time- even more beautiful than the pictures. We will definitely make a return trip !

Delightful setting

Breezy Beach is a wonderful spot to just relax and enjoy the gorgeous setting - the beach, the palm trees, the pool, the shaded terraces. The fact that the beach is a favorite turtle nesting spot just added to the interest. The house is spacious and airy in a very quiet neighborhood. Pam McFadden, the property manager is very responsive - she met us at the airport and promptly resolved some minor issues we had.

I’d stay here again!

This house is a great place to spend a week on the island. There are restaurants close by and several different beaches. We found out the hard way that you should wear shoes out to the beach to avoid the sharp burrs in the grass, but we only made that mistake once. Pam helped us get settled and was available if we needed her. The house had everything we needed (family of four). I’d stay there again, no question.

We have been vacationing at ST. Croix for many years. Always near perfect weather, averages are mid-70's --to low 80's (Nov-April) and low to high 80's (May-October) and ALWAYS BREEZY from the trade winds (right on the ocean), so pleasant and predictable, what a perfect open air tropical living experience. A family friendly beach just steps from the front door. Always relaxing, private, quiet and rejuvinating with just enough entertainment and dining available within a short drive. We and now our grown children always look foward to our stays at Breezy Beach. Even after all the years it is still a special place of beauty for us.
