The property was in a great location and the parking available at the bottom of the hill was perfect for getting access to downtown. The host was super helpful during the whole process.

Fabulous Cabin!

This cabin was one of my favorites! James was a fantastic host! The cabin is a great location, very clean, and spacious for a family of four. The game room was a family favorite! Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation!

Beautiful views

This property has amazing views. It is so comfortable and beautiful. It had everything we needed and more. The pool table and games were such an added bonus of fun. Yes, the drive up and down is a bit steep but we got used to it. The host goes above and beyond with communication and extras. The check out was probably the easiest I have ever had.

Best of both worlds

We loved our stay at this property! You get the best of both worlds by enjoying the cabin experience with a view while being close to downtown. The road up to the cabin is a bit scary at first, but we got the hang of it after a couple trips. The host was very accommodating and the house was super clean. You will see bears at this cabin if the season is right for them. We really enjoyed the gas fireplace on the porch during cool evenings. 100% recommend this property and would stay again!

Perfect location!

Not only is this a perfect location just off the Main Street and entrance to park but it was extremely clean! James was a great host and communicator on the area. Would definitely recommend!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful home with tranquil views of the Smoky Mountains. The location was ideal—just a short drive to both the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and downtown Gatlinburg, yet tucked away in a peaceful, private setting. The home was spacious, very clean, and well-appointed. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. We enjoyed relaxing in the cozy living room after a long day of hiking. In early morning we spent time admiring the breathtaking views from the porch. Our boys especially loved the game room with the pool table and arcade games. James was a wonderful host and communicator. He promptly answered all of our questions and had very helpful tips and recommendations for restaurants and activities. Highly recommend for families looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in the Smokies. We’d love to come back!

Fantastic cabin

In Living Color was exactly as described and perfect for our family vacation. The location was awesome - close to the strip but far enough away to not feel like you were in town. James was an excellent host and communication was by far the best I've had compared to other places we've stayed. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home with us.

Beautiful home in a great location

This is a gorgeous, clean cabin-style house in the perfect location. Easily walk into Gatlinburg or drive right into Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Also a quick drive to Dollywood. The beds were super comfortable. Lots of space to hang out — outside deck, game room and great room. Thanks for a great stay!

First Smoky Mtn. / Gatlinburg vacation

The property is ideally located in a quiet neighborhood with easy access to Smoky Mtn. National Park and access to Gatlinburg strip. We enjoyed the mtn views and occasional wildlife visitors. The house was as described, extremely clean and offered everything needed for our family vacation stay. The owner was great to work with and we would look to using the property again in the future.

Wonderful!

This property was more that we expected! The views are phenomenal, we had all the amenities we needed, everything was clean and very tastefully furnished. We especially loved the wood burning fireplace. So close to downtown and the property manager was very helpful. We will definitely book here again!

Golden girls retreat

We take an annual girls family trip with my grandmother, aunts, mother, and best friend! We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin; it was perfect for our trip, we relaxed, and enjoyed watching the bears walk by the house! You will not be disappointed with the warmth, coziness, and amazing views from this quaint little cabin!

Beautiful Home...Awesome Location!

We really enjoyed our time at this beautiful home on the mountain! This was our very first time in Tennessee and we were made to feel right at home. James and his wife were extremely helpful and made sure we had a great experience. We were thrilled to have a few visits from the local bears and enjoyed playing pool in the billiard room. The house was very comfortable and close to all that Gatlinburg has to offer. We will definitely be back!

Amazing Gatlinburg Vacation!

We had a group of 6 adults. The house was as described - clean and beautiful. The owner kept an open line of communication. We had no issues, but I'm sure if we did, he would have been quick to respond. Lots of bear activity which was a huge plus!! I would absolutely stay here again.

Very clean Stunning cabin lots of wildlife

Wow what an amazing view. The cabin was stunning, so very clean. Fully stocked kitchen. We were fortunate enough to see bears every day. Cabin is close enough to walk to town, though I didn’t the hill is steep, the teenagers did every day though. The host told us of a parking spot close to the main strip we used daily. Cabin is located right by the entrance to the national park. Just a perfect location. Loved everything about our stay.

Wonderful

Our stay was absolutely lovely. James is amazing! The home is gorgeous and well kept. We have been coming to Gatlinburg for years and finally found a gem! We would definitely stay here during any season. It snowed a good amount while we were there and the road up to the home was well managed. The drive up to the home is achievable. I had read other reviews that stated it was difficult to get up. I did not find this to be the case at all.The location is perfect. It offers a secluded feel with easy access to down town and the national park.

The property was beautiful. The house was very cozy, comfortable and clean. We felt right at home when we walked in. The only thing was that the main floor did not have a bathroom in the living area, it was in the master suite. Overall I would highly recommend this property and hope to return someday.

AMAZING stay!

James was an amazing host! He was so easy to communicate with. He made sure we had everything we needed, provided us with a ton of recommendations for everything we wanted to do in Gatlinburg. His house was extremely clean, and stocked with everything we needed for an awesome vacation. If you’re looking for the perfect house, close to downtown with a host that makes your trip a breeze, look no further. We will certainly be back to book again with James. Gatlinburg Christmas Parade

This house is fantastic! Clean. Well kept and furnished nicely, including kitchen. Just a block or so from downtown area. The property manager told us about a few parking places we could use that's about 100 yards or less from the main road. We have enjoyed the Christmas parade many times, especially when the kids were small, and now that it is just my wife and I, we still enjoy it. If you're looking for a beautiful place to stay in Gatlinburg, I would highly recommend this location. This will be the first place we will look for availability whenever we go to Gatlinburg.

This was our second time staying at Living Color. It did not disappoint! It truly feels like a home away from home. The house was clean, smelled amazing and stocked with everything we needed. The pool table and arcade games were a big hit!You cannot beat the location. Tucked up the hillside so you feel peaceful and secluded but still only a short walk down to the downtown Parkway to enjoy the restaurants and festivities.James is a wonderful, helpful host We highly recommend staying here.We will definitely be back!Thank you James!
