Cozy Catskills Cottage

Be it high summer or snowy winter, this is the place to chill! A long shady driveway brings you to the Cottage, a two bedroom, one bathroom, one story building with a large deck and Weber grill. It’s fully equipped and nicely appointed and warm as toast when the north winds howl down from Mt. Mombaccus. In colder months, there’s a gas-fired stove in the living area which has a splendid cathedral ceiling and exposed beams.
If you need just about anything, Tetta’s, a 4 generation general store has gas, pizza and a small assortment of groceries including a deli.
The Cottage is about 30-40 minutes from Kingston, Stone Ridge, Woodstock, High Falls, New Paltz.
We’re 10 minutes from the stunning Ashokan Reservoir walkway and many hiking trails.

Wonderful stay!

We were in town for a wedding and this VRBO was perfect! The property was very clean and met all of our needs, and the host was very kind and communicative. Would highly recommend!

Cozy!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this cozy cottage! It was the perfect size for our small family that included 2 adults, 1 child (age 10) and our dog! Meredith is super friendly and attentive and our dogs played together as if they've known each other for years. We hope to be back soon!

A Peaceful Getaway

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful cottage. As soon as you turn into the property, you’re welcomed by a stunning tree-lined corridor that sets the tone for the peaceful retreat ahead. The cottage itself is absolutely comfortable, inviting, and clean—resting on a gorgeous plot of land surrounded by nature’s calm. Each day, we were greeted by Clara, Meredith’s adorable puppy, who added to the charm of the experience. Meredith was a fantastic hostess—attentive, kind, and incredibly responsive while giving us the privacy to fully enjoy our stay. A truly rejuvenating escape which we definitely look forward to repeating.

A sweet little get away

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in the little cottage in the woods. Nicely appointed kitchen, comfy beds and everything we could ask for in a getaway. The host was very thoughtful and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend and will try to return in the future!

Incredible Getaway!

We had a phenomenal time! The house was so nice and cozy. The pool was gorgeous! The property grounds were absolutely stunning - our dogs absolutely loved it! Meredith was an incredible host - super welcoming and reliable. We couldn't have had a better experience!

Perfect cozy getaway from the city

My family spent the most wonderful time staying at this cottage; it was very well maintained, clean, warm and the host, Meredith was so accomodating and available that we didnt feel isolated in the mountain. It was so therapeutic to watch rainfall on the trees outside from the large windows too. We'll definitely comeback!

Catskills Cottage

We had such a peaceful stay at the Catskills Cottage. We especially enjoyed the wildlife that you may get to see passing by in the woods. A/C works great which was much needed in the summer months. Would definitely come back in winter.

We will be back

Meredith was warm, welcoming and eager to make our stay here a success. This was a working vacation for us and it was wonderful to work on the deck surrounded by the natural beauty and joyous peace and quiet. Her assistant, Clara the 10 month old Australian Shepard puppy came by several times a day to make sure we weren’t getting out of line. We have already reserved our time for next summer

Cute cottage

The cottage was cute, cozy and clean. Meredith and Daphne were great hosts. We appreciated the eggs milk and butter! Too bad the weather didn’t cooperate to use the pool but we will be back!!! Thank you again.

We had a Wonderful Time!

My husband and I and our two little dogs had a wonderful time. The cottage is exactly as described. The property is gorgeous. The owner, Meredith, is very nice and really wants to make sure you enjoy yourself. While she lives on the property, we seldom saw her but she was available if we needed anything. We will definitely stay with Meredith and Clara (her puppy) next time we visit the Catskill mountains!

Catskill getaway

We enjoyed our visit to the Catskill region of NY state. The cottage was what we had expected and met all of our and our dogs needs. Especially the AC as it was a hot and muggy 4 days, which made it hard to be outside for long periods of a time. Meredith checked in as needed was a concerned host as there was a storm and we lost power.

Wonderful Country Cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Olivebridge cottage. The location was perfect, even if the weather was not. Very comfy and kind of "shabby chic" which pleased us, and the surrounding views were stunning. There was a great pool, but due to bad weather we only enjoyed it a few times. The owner was helpful and accommodating. She even left us breakfast products upon arrival. I'd definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet getaway to the country.

Fantastic!

Terrific cottage on a secluded driveway up in a secluded area of the Catskills. Furnished with old furniture and antiques (I love the old couch!) If you want quaint remoteness, this is the place! Beautiful location surrounded by trees and mountain views. We went hiking and had some good family time. The host was friendly, accessible and took care of an unanticipated issue right away. We had a wonderful time. Thank you!

A week in the mountains

It was truly a cozy cottage. We went a little early in the season so was not able to use pool. Too cold out. Great location. About 30 min. Away feom most sites and trails. Super cloae to a market and delicious pizza. The owner had a fabulous sweet dog that she allowed us to play with. We are super dog lovers. So that was a bonus. Would highly recomend if you want to immerse in the beautiful woods.

Very pleasant and peaceful experience

Over spring break, we decided to spend a long weekend in an adorable cottage. The pictures we had seen online didn't disappoint - the place was exactly as we had imagined. The host was incredibly thoughtful, leaving beautiful flowers by the door and on the entrance table. Inside, the refrigerator was stocked with fresh whole grain bread, milk, butter, and more. It made us feel so welcome! The property itself was incredibly picturesque, with stunning views from every window. To top it off, the host was warm and friendly. We highly recommend this place - it's definitely worth a try!

Beautiful, quiet home away from home.

Wanted to take my fiancé on a mothers day getaway. Found this cute little cabin/home available for the weekend. This rental truly did not disappoint, the owner, Meredith, is wonderful and has just about everything you would need for your daily routine. From Cookware, to towels there is not much you will need to bring or buy. We were greeted with a nice welcome letter, fresh bouquet of flowers on the kitchen table and some local menus. An abundant selection of books and DVD's, in the fridge was some breakfast items, a charcoal grill on the deck with a very nice retractable awning. Sitting outside in the morning while having coffee, you will hear and see various kinds of wildlife. Overall, my fiancé, daughter and I enjoyed the stay, would highly recommend and would definitely rent again! Thanks again Meredith and Daphne!
