Charming Historic One Bedroom Apartment

Historic home in all its glory!

Immaculately clean with a well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and key-less door code entry.

Experience the luxury of a classy historic home. This is a large (850 Sq Ft), completely private, One bedroom apartment with beautiful hardwood floors, farmhouse sink, claw foot tub (and bubble bath) and 10 foot ceilings.

Centrally located between wine country (Napa/Sonoma) and San Francisco. Walking distance to the ferry which gets you to SF in less than an hour!

Bottle of wine, filtered water and breakfast items included.


PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!

1. Air conditioner is a window unit . WE DO NOT HAVE CENTRAL AIR!
Most Vallejo Summer days are mild and breezy. We have about 7-10 really hot days. On these days it is best to leave the windows open over night and then close them in the morning. If you run the AC please close all the windows (including the bathroom window). Also please remember to turn off AC when you leave the apartment (for the day or when your trip is over).

2. WE HAVE A TODDLER. We live on the property and she often plays out front. You will hear frequent laughter, squeals, and rambunctious playing. If you require a total zen space, this probably isn't the rental for you :-)
But, she loves to say hi if you are a guest!

3. THE BACKYARD SPACE IS PRIVATE AND NOT FOR GUEST USE.

4. THERE IS A NO SMOKING AND NO PET POLICY due to severe allergies of host. If you are a smoker or can't travel without your pet, please look for another space that is more accommodating to your needs. Thank you.
5. ROKU ENABLED TELEVISION ONLY. There are several free apps downloaded for tv watching but you will need your own accounts to stream movies for Netflix, Hulu, etc...

Beautiful Space
We really enjoyed our stay here. The garden outside was lovely, the owners were friendly. The house had every amenity you could ask for while away from home! The kitchen was fully stocked with everything needed for cooking, with many thoughtful touches included. The unit itself is very charming, we loved the work put in to keep the original feel of a historic home. Thank you for a great stay!

Nice Place to Sleep & Get Ready for Adventures
This property was nice, but it felt a bit like you were staying at your parents house. Between the thinness of the walls, sounds carrying through easily, the request to keep it down, and being able to hear other occupants' conversations, you didn't feel quite like you had reserved a location all just for you. The owners were very kind and sweet however, and very attentive. I would recommend this place for people who just want somewhere to sleep and get ready for their day, but aren't looking to hang out too much in the property. It was very charming though and had the ameneities you'd expect from a place. Only suggestion I would have to the owners is to increase the amount of electrical outlets and reconfigure the bedroom so that both sides are easily accessible. One side is too close to the wall which makes it difficult to get in and out of bed.

Hello we are SuArra and Chris. We are an outgoing, easy going, loving couple. We own an 1800's historic house as we are slowing turning it into a fully restored historic home. We love guests who are polite, peaceful, and looking for good experiences.

We love to travel and explore the world. We are both outgoing and engaging. We enjoy nature and love to picnic and hike around. We sail when the weather and wind are good.

Sue is a Sommelier who enjoys cooking and eating good food. Sue is a Sommelier who enjoys cooking and eating good food. Reach out if you'd like to add on private chef services or wine tasting/tour experiences.

Chris is a currently a historic home realtor. He has had many different experiences which include living off the grid and traveling in non conventional ways. He is a brewer. He has a music background and is interested in art, poetry, symbolism and Jungian psychology. He has done extensive volunteer forest restoration and has a deep love of the natural world.

We have a four year old daughter named Andie who loves to make new friends. If you say hi to her she will be your bestie for life. She is very outgoing, funny, and rambunctious!

We live in the heritage district with beautiful historic homes surrounding the area. Our home is very close to downtown and the waterfront ferry into SF. Walk to the local Saturday Farmer's market, popular restaurants, and quaint shops. We are centrally located between SF and the wine regions of Napa and Sonoma. Each destination is about a 45 minute drive (sans traffic).

We have tried to make the very best rental we could think of and we hope you agree. Your apartment is a large and comfortable 850 square foot home.

This is a space where you will find "your" kitchen away from home. You will have a super comfy modern foam and coil mattress for a great nights sleep. There is a built in kitchen table for dining. There is also a pull out table in the living room that can be used as a workspace. Relax on the comfy window seat overlooking the garden or enjoy a glass of wine (provided!) on the patio out front.

We have made sure that you will have what you need. If there is anything special you might want please ask us. We live next door and are happy to accommodate you if possible.
