Söpö bungalow Haileyn historiallisella 'Avenues'-alueella

TÀmÀ talo sijaitsee Haileyn historiallisella alueella, noin 10 mailin pÀÀssÀ Sun Valley Resortista. Talon ulkopinta noudattaa alueen bungalow-tyyliÀ, mutta ikkunat, ovet ja sisÀtilat on kokonaan uusittu puhtaiksi, avoimiksi ja moderneiksi.

Talossa on mökki-tyylinen puutarha, jossa on pappikivi kulkutiet, varjoisat / nurmikkoiset alueet leikkimiseen, kypsÀt havupuut ja valtavat, majesteettiset lehtipuut. Piha on tÀysin aidattu fidoosi. Olohuone ja keittiö ovat hyvin avoimia ja tarjoavat mukavan tapaamispaikan. Olohuoneessa on joki-rock-takka ja HDTV-televisio, jossa on surround-ÀÀni, ja Roku-ruutu elokuvien ja television suoratoistoon (Netflix, Amazon & PBS) sekÀ DVD-soitin ja iPod-telakka.

Makuuhuoneessa sijaitsee toisessa kerroksessa queen-vuode. SiinÀ on oma kylpyhuone, jossa on sekÀ suihkukaappi ettÀ erillinen iso kylpyamme, johon mahtuu kaksi ihmistÀ. Vierashuone # 1 sijaitsee myös toisessa kerroksessa, tÀysikokoisella sÀngyllÀ ja omalla kylpyhuoneellaan. Vierashuone # 2 on alakerrassa, ja siinÀ on kaksi erillistÀ vuodetta, kÀyttÀmÀllÀ alakerran koko kylpyhuonetta (mikÀ ei ole ensuite).

KeittiössÀ on ruostumattomasta terÀksestÀ valmistettu saari, jossa on kolme tiskijalkaa keskusteluun ruoanlaiton aikana. RuokapöydÀssÀ on kuusi ilman jatkelehtiÀ tai kaksitoista kahdella jatkelehdellÀ ja kahdella penkillÀ. SiellÀ on myös keittiöruokia, tarjoiluvati ja astiat kahdelletoista.

Haileyn palvelut ja yritykset ovat lyhyen kÀvelymatkan pÀÀssÀ.

Exceeded our expectations!

Greg and Shelley's place was absolutely perfect. Their home was clean and comfortable. The fenced yard was bigger than we had anticipated and was a dream for our GSD who occasionally travels with us. Kids also enjoyed walking into town to visit Jane's Artifacts while grabbing some ice cream for the walk home. It really was the perfect spot.

Beautiful house in the heart of Hailey

We came to Hailey with extended family for a 5 night stay. We loved this house. It was two blocks from the bike path and we walked to Atkinson and several parks. There was one bedroom downstairs and two upstairs. The kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. The yard was perfect for my kids to play in. We would love to stay in this house again.

A welcoming home in a friendly town.

We rented this home for 2 weeks in July to get out of the Southwest heat. I had high expectations, and they were exceeded. Close to the river, close to the bike trail to Ketchum. The home was clean and everything worked great. Didn’t want to leave.

Perfect!

This home in Hailey was exactly what we were looking for. It was cozy and clean, an updated older home with charm. It had a lovely, private outside space where we relaxed after hiking and biking. Hailey is a great town with a laidback vibe, an atmosphere we prefer over what Ketchum offers. We highly recommend this spot!

Beautiful setting and convenient location

My family had a wonderful time in this beautiful setting. The garden is a great place for relaxing in the evenings and the location is convenient for walks into town. A perfect place for our family get together! The owner was great to work with and even contacted us on our arrival day to make sure everything was ok.

Even better in person

This is a long overdue review after a wonderful extended stay in Greg's house. This home is even more gorgeous in person. The common area is so inviting. Everyone who walks into the house comments on what a great area it is. And ALL of the beds are so comfy! I tested each one at some stage tending to my young children. Great Kitchen, Great Master Bath, the list goes on. Come in the winter to ski and in the summer to enjoy the garden. Stay in Hailey to live like a local out of the hub bub of Sun Valley. Be sure to enjoy the valleys' best restaurant CK's which is only blocks away. We loved Hailey so much - we bought our own place!

Superb Stay !

We have been going to Hailey for over 30 years and this property was by far our most favorite. Great open floor plan that was both cozy and comfortable. Beautiful grounds in a quiet setting within walking distance of virtually everything we needed. Very clean and easy to clean up. Was even better in person than what we had hoped seeing it online. High, high recommendation......we will be back.

Charming Hailey Vacation Rental

BEYOND OUR EXPECTATION

I should have done this much sooner. We stayed in this lovely home 2 different times in June 2011. Greg is a master at this! We have rented many homes for vacations but nothing has ever been as great as this. This home is clean and beautiful and the gardens are spectacular:) The deck and patio are a lovely place to end your day with a nice glass of wine and some good conversation. Greg you went out of your way to accomodate us and our reluctant pregnant daughter. We are hoping to return this summer:) Thanks again..Rod and Linda Barth

This is a Great property

This house was perfect for us--family of 5 + dog. The yard is large and our dog loved having a place to run. The house is clean, cozy and very well appointed. The house is in a peaceful neighborhood 1/2 a block from a big green field and 1/2 mile from the community pool and local pump track. The beds were all very comfortable and the rooms large. The living area and kitchen are open so it creates this huge space downstairs to gather in. Oh, and I wanted to take the big comfy chair home. We had to fight over it the whole stay. If your looking for a home away from home in Sun Valley, this is it. We will not hesitate to stay upon our next visit.

A House With Everything

This beautiful home was a delight. The owner has great taste and has created an environment that is very appealing, meticulously cared for and well maintained, and welcoming to humans and canines alike. My dogs ran around his gorgeous yard for the first 2 hours after we arrived. The neighboring dogs and their owners stopped by for a visit to see who the new crew was...all in all it was a delightful sojourn. The owner was instantly available on his cell and talked me through the not at all complicated task of turning on the cable TV. The city of Hailey is a very intriguing place; it's perfectly located, with some excellent restaurants, fascinating museum, music fest, craft shows, and nice and low keyed...without some of the traffic mayhem we got into in Ketchum. I knew I'd love this place when, as we pulled into town and drove by the Senior's Center, a man in his ?90's pulled up riding his new Trek bike.

Super house in Hailey

On paper, many VRBO places look quite nice and in person they are usually average to good. This home, however, was even better in person. The fenced yard was private and beautiful and the patio on the south side offered a gorgeous spot for a dusk conversation. Inside, all was spotless and very well appointed, especially the kitchen. My pet peeve with 10 or so VRBO places we have rented has been the middling quality of cookware and knives but this was the first place where I could really cook with a variety of saute and sauce pans! The location is super because your are less than 200 yds from the Wood River Trail and within walking distance of Atkinsons market. This is a wonderful place, even if you don't have a dog but the best I have encountered for those with dogs. The owner was quick and thorough in responding and had all the how-to's spelled out in a laminated handout inside the house. Super place. Thanks, Greg.

We love this house!

We had such a fabulous winter holiday here, and felt so warm and comfortable in this beautiful spot. The house is spacious and tastefully decorated. I love the open living space downstairs, and especially the kitchen island, which made cooking a pleasure. It all felt very well-kept and clean. Plus, everything was so well stocked, we never ran out of dishes or lacked a utensil. Even extra entertainment was provided... I didn't know Pirate Monopoly was so much fun. It was great to be so close to the bike path, where we took walks and went cross-country skiing, and we took advantage of the ice rink just down the street. This place has it all--comfort, beauty, charm, location and a super homeowner who made the transaction easy. Hope to come back in summer and enjoy the yard!

We are both Idaho-raised and work for nonprofits (Shelly in health education and Greg in wilderness stewardship). We split our time between Boise, this beloved vacation home and the vast wilderness areas of central Idaho.

The house is an ideal base for hiking, road biking, mountain biking, fishing, rock climbing, all types of skiing and backpacking. Within the surrounding fifty miles, there are five distinct mountain ranges (Smoky, Pioneer, Boulder, White Cloud and Sawtooth), three major rivers for world class whitewater and fishing (Wood, Salmon and Lost), and Craters of the Moon National Monument, with fantastic lava formations and caves.

The City of Hailey is the authentic heart of the Wood River valley, county seat and location of most civic life, services and the airport. It provides easy access to world famous Sun Valley Resort (10 miles away), yet retains its friendly and family-oriented small town appeal. Hailey is home to many of the valley's finest restaurants, shops and performing arts events.

MikÀ tekee tÀstÀ majoituspaikasta ainutlaatuisen

The house is located in the historic avenues district in the center of town, three blocks from Main Street, where restaurants, shops, our ice skating facility and rodeo grounds are located. Our initial attraction to this house was the landscaping and large trees, providing shade in summer, yet southerly sun in winter. The home is less than 200 feet from the trail network (unlimited mountain biking in summer and 170 kilometers of groomed Nordic trails in winter). We LOVE our dogs (and all dogs) and are happy for you to bring your own (one, or perhaps two if you let us know in advance and we approve in writing). The yard is fully fenced for your peace of mind and the dog's safety.

The house is decorated with original arts and crafts items from our travels and time living abroad, with top quality linens and a large, fully provisioned kitchen for gourmet meal prep - right down to the stainless steel island for baking or making pasta.
