"SNOWBIRD" kuukausittainen erityispäivä, 1.-31. Maaliskuuta .. 'Dunes' Beach House sijaitsee Cabana Beach -osa-alueella, 8961 Pompano Way, Fort Morganin niemimaalla (alueella, jolla on kauniit sokerinvalkoiset hiekkarannat) Gulf Shoresissa, Alabamassa, vieressä Bon Secour Wildlife -alueen avoimelle, täyttömälle rannalle. Refuge. Olemme melkein rannalla ilman kustannuksia. Pompano Way Road umpikuja loppuu talomme edessä, kävele vasemmalle ajotieltämme ja noin 40 askelta olet hiekkadyynien / rannan alueella, ei teitä tai ylitettäviä alueita. -Maan tasossa on ulkosuihku, jossa on lämmin ja kylmä vesi, kodinhoitohuone, jossa pesukone, kaksi kuivausrumpua, kaasuliesi ja paljon rantaleluja, ehkä jopa unohdettu leija. Siellä on piknikpöytä, keinu, riippumatto ja tuolit.
-Pään tasolla on kansi, josta on näköala rannalle / lahdelle, olohuone vuodesohvalla, tv, dvr, vhr, radio- ja stero-järjestelmä, keittiö on avoin ja täysin varustettu. Siinä on aamiaisbaari, johon mahtuu kaksi, ja pöytä, johon mahtuu kahdeksan. Eteisen ulkopuolella on kaksi makuuhuonetta ja suihku. Yhdessä makuuhuoneessa on kaksi erillistä vuodetta, tv ja toisessa kaksi queen size-vuodetta. Tällä tasolla on kaikki keraamiset laattalattiat, joita on helppo ylläpitää.
-Makuuhuone on ylös portaiden korkeimmalle tasolle. Sillä on oma kylpyhuone ja oma terassi, josta on näkymät Meksikonlahdelle. Tässä huoneessa on vaatehuone, tv, puhelin, king-size-vuode ja puulattiat.

Kun he harjoittelevat, voit myös nauttia laivaston 'Sinisistä enkeleistä', jotka sijaitsevat lähellä olevassa Pensacolassa. He harjoittavat koulua Cabana Beachin alueella. Meillä on yksi lentäjistä koulutettu, kun olemme rannalla ja hän tulee lentämään matalalla lahden yli, jota me hullumme aaltoilevat, ja hän suorittaa 180 asteen läppä lentää ylösalaisin!

Great beach getaway

We and our dogs spent the week at Dune Ranch. The property was clean and true to the pictures. Neighborhood was private and safe. Beach access was convenient. The beach was not crowded and clean. The views and sounds are amazing from the property. The owners were easy to work with. We would consider booking again.

Great girls week at the beach!

The house is conveniently located to the beach and has all of the amenities of home. Leroy was very accommodating to our early arrival and we were able to hang out on the deck to enjoy the ocean view.

Relaxing in the gulf

We really enjoyed our trip. The hosts checked on us a couple of times to see if we needed anything. The house suited 6 of us with 2 dogs very nicely. Very short walk to the beach and the house included a lot of the beach essentials.

Best beach

The beach house is on the best uncrowded pet-friendly beach only one house away from the beach dune trail. It was great to be able to bring the pup along and fun to meet other dogs while at the beach. Check-in was easy, and the owner sent lots of details, including a recommendation for a good restaurant in town we may not have picked otherwise. Owner responded quickly when we had one issue come up. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals. There is a nice ocean view from the porches, and being in a quiet neighborhood made for a relaxing vacation.

Very nice house and location.

Liked the layout of the house in general. The secluded master suite upstairs was nice with a good view. House seemed to be well-kept. Kitchen/dining was a little tight but not uncomfortably so. A couple of blinds did not operate as they were supposed to, but otherwise, the house was absolutely fantastic.

Wonderful vacation

Leroy and Nan are excellent hosts! They genuinely care about their guests and checked in with us while we were there. Beautiful views and easy access to the beach. The neighborhood pier was the best place to watch the sunset. Lots of fish caught and released! Loved that everything was private and that you were in your own little paradise. House was well stocked with everything you need to cook meals. We even made cupcakes with the kids on a rainy day. We definitely plan to come back and stay here again.

Pleasant trip

My wife and I (along with our 2 small dogs) spent the month of February at this nice home. The location is ideal: It’s at the end of a dead end street, only a few steps from Veterans Beach, which is owned by the US government. Dogs on leashes are allowed on this beach, and our furry “children” thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The house has two decks and great views. It is a 3 bedroom and 2 bath home that is well furnished. We felt like there was lots of room for our group of 2 adults and 2 dogs. The kitchen was stocked with plenty of dishes, utensils, and a large starter set of consumable supplies (e.g., paper towels, dishwasher detergent, toilet paper, etc.). Leroy and Nan were wonderful to work with. They provided lots of helpful information about the local area, and were immediately responsive to questions by either email or phone. They demonstrated the ideal balance of helpful hosts, but were not overly intrusive. Our goal was a quiet vacation. This house, with its wonderful location, greatly exceeded the goal. We explored numerous local restaurants (definitely go to Jesse’s on the Bay - about 2 minutes away!). The house is in the Cabana Beach subdivision, which in February consists of a nice blend of full time residents, snow birds and empty houses. It is located about 12 miles from the middle of Gulf Shores on the Fort Morgan road. In February, there is hardly any traffic and the trip back to Gulf Shores goes quickly. We will definitely be back.

Great Beach Vacation

We enjoyed our rental thoroughly. We like to rent a tent and chairs from Beach Bum, this HOA has rules against it. Left of Beach access is Veteran’s Park. The house was everything we expected, though quite sandy when we arrived. Outdoor shower was not enclosed due to recent storms and availability of workers. If you’re handy like my husband, you might inquire about some light work before going down as the owners are very nice and really just want the place nice for everyone. If we had known ahead of time, we would have taken a different car and tools and built the enclosure so it’s there for all. My husband does not do idle very well lol. The road from the highway back to the house is a problem currently and is in need of repair. Currently, you want an SUV. Very slow going with all the rain in my sedan, but careful gets you there no problem. Don’t fly down the road in the dark when you first arrive, no matter how excited the kids are! We like the house and the location and will definitely check the Cabana Beach next time! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

50th Birthday over the hill beach trip

This was our first time to the beach in 10 years. I was nervous about booking a beach house over a condo. I am very happy we did. The pictures do not do the place justice. The kitchen is so spacious. New appliances. Loved the picnic table in there. So genius! They had everything you need. Made me feel like I over packed. They had a washer and 2 driers which made cleaning so fast. There storage room had anything and EVERYTHING you need for the beach. We donated some beach toys to their collection. The swing on the parking deck is fabulous. The king size master was so comfortable and spacious. We loved having a private deck away from the kids for a few moments. The closet was a great feature because it was perfect to set up the dog crate in there and not take up floor space. In the 2 queen bed room, it is huge. So much space for teenagers and adults ladies. This room has a small private deck, so cute. No tv in that room but everyone has cell phones now days so they don’t watch tv hardly anyways. The 2 twin bed rooms were great. A tv in there for the grandkids. The pull out couch was great for the grandkids. There is a big orange chair that has a single pull out bed that the grandkids fought over to sleep on. Plus their friends pushed the wicker chair, matching stool, and recliner all together and made another bed. One took the leather cushions from the couch and slept on it as a pallet. Then there was still plenty of room to walk around. This home is perfect for a large family like ours and grandkids. The beach is so much closer than we imagined. It is a injustice to say it is across the street. You feel like you are beach side. If there was one idea we thought would have been great to have. Would have been a small chest freezer in their larger storage room so we could buy ice for our coolers in bulk so we didn’t have to run to the store for ice so frequently. We felt bad hauling melting ice through the kitchen to put in the freezer for the beach coolers. This is not a complaint only a suggestion. We have one at our lake cabin it’s handy The homeowner is super nice to deal with and help walk us through the process. I know he has a cleaning crew but we still cleaned before we left and we brought our own bedding. However Mr LeRoy’s family had plenty of bedding and all the shelves are labeled nicely so you know where to put everything back to. I can’t wait to go back. We would love to stay there again. We give it 10 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

"The Dunes" Beach House is our 2nd Home, that we also rent, so we keep it updated. Kitchen, Family room and kitchen updated 2019.
(4 minutes, NOT correct on gps/map). It is only 40 steps from our driveway to Sand Dunes/Beach We are residents of Alabama and were married in Mobile, Al many years ago. We love the quietness of the ocean/beach area of Fort Morgan peninsula.
Their are very few Beach areas left like the Ft. Morgan peninsula, no crowded beach, quiet, no traffic/street noise, not boxed in by High Rise buildings!.
But, yet close to shopping, restaurants, etc...

You are only 40 steps to the "Sand Dunes/Beach".
When we travel until we can go no more, we retreat to the Gulf. There, having left the stress behind, we sit on the upper (or lower) deck, and watch the beachcombers out very early, listen to the cooing of the doves, and at times watch the dolphins play. It's just a short walk to the store to get a paper. Then we do only what we want to do. Just settle in for the most quiet, relaxing, best beach vacation ever!
At night, and with no street lights, you can see so many stars, they seem so close, you feels like they you are among them! can reach out and touch them!
