Excellent Stay

We have stayed at Destin West yearly for 12 years and all agreed this was our favorite condo to date! The condo is beautifully decorated, clean, and has beautiful views of the bay! The unexpected extra amenities such as a beach cart, beach toys and pails, and even keurig coffee made it even more special.

Beautiful property!

Beautiful, clean and comfortable condo! Amazing views of the bay and right next to pontoon and jet ski rentals. There were all kinds of goodies waiting for me and my kids upon entering the condo. So thoughtful to add that touch!

Amazing condo and views!

This condo was beyond our expectations! It was even bigger than the pictures make it seem. Plenty of room for our group of six. Everything you could possibly need for the week was included. The beach wagon was a huge help for the trip over to the beach. The bay views are awesome! We love this resort and this was the best condo we’ve stayed in here. Our stay was perfect! We had one small blip with our door lock that was no big deal at all, but I’m only mentioning it because I contact Melanie about it and she replied immediately with a solution. I would stay here again and again!

Clean, Beautiful, Comfortable condo!

This condo was exceptionally clean, and very spacious. Plenty of room, was equipped with everything we needed, and more! Highly recommend! We enjoyed our time here and the location was great!

Perfect for our family

We loved staying here. It was the perfect setup for our family. We had plenty of room and enjoyed the gorgeous views. Melanie was a great host! We hope to go again when it is not so cold and we can enjoy everything that the property has to offer!

REunion Retreat

Three couples stayed for a long weekend. We were back in Ft Walton for a HS Reunion and the location was perfect. Close but not TOO close. We Ubered to both Destin and Ft Walton for events. The back patio was perfect to relax and watch the boats going by. The beach was an easy walk. Plenty of space in the condo to spreadout and unwind. Thanks again.

Beach trip

Condo was perfect. Had an A/C issue the first night, but they got right on it and fixed it. Would definitely stay here again. Beautiful condo and view!!

Beautiful condo with a great view!

Our family absolutely loved this condo for our vacation! It was exactly as listed and had the best view from the balcony. We watched sunsets in the evenings and looked for jellyfish during the day. It had comfortable furniture and lots of open space. We were pleasantly surprised by the k cups/coffee provided and lots of beach toys/chairs/beach cart. Getting down to the Lazy River pool was very easy and was our favorite spot while visiting. There’s a great restaurant next door (Ricks) that was easy to walk over to and get takeout or enjoy the live music. We felt so at home at this condo and did not want to leave, we will definitely be back!

Perfect Fall Getaway

This is a fantastically decorated condo with lots of little touches that made it amazing. Kitchen was very well stocked with spices and things that aren't always available. We will definitely stay here again and have nothing but fantastic memories.

Lovely property

Condo was very comfortable, had everything we needed. Beautiful views off balcony overlooking bay. However, the neighbors dryer vent over lounge chairs on the balcony made it a little uncomfortable when they began their dryer. I felt a surge of heat (even over the heat outside) and the smell of dryer sheets to which I’m not a fan. Pools are just a short walk, and beach was comfortably accessible via elevators and sky walk. Beware, we experienced a lot of jellyfish in the bay which made being in the water a little unnerving. I had visions of floating in the shallows not being pummeled by waves, alas, not to be. A local seemed to think it’s no big deal getting stung, I’ll leave that one up to your own discretion, me personally, I opted to skip the ‘sting’ experience. FYI, it was the same at crab island if you choose to take out a boat from the nearby pier. Overall lovely resort.
