The wilderness retreat you've been dreaming of, this spacious North Woodstock chalet, is within walking distance of Mirror Lake. When you aren't gliding the provided kayaks across the shimmering waters, check out nearby White Mountain Disc Golf, Lost River Gorge & Boulder Caves, Alpine Adventures, Jack O'Lantern Golf Course, The Flume Gorge, Whale's Tale Waterpark and Clark's Trading Post.

This beautiful home is suitable for remote workers, equipped with high-speed internet, newly installed air conditioning and a dedicated workspace. When you aren't working, gather in the sunny living area and tune into your favorite TV shows and movies, or engage in playful competition over a game of Ping-Pong or air hockey in the family room.

The charming kitchen will quickly have the adoration of the chef of your family with its suite of stainless steel appliances and ample meal prep space. Dine together at the adjacent wooden dining table, or eat a quick snack at the breakfast bar. When you want to escalate your cooking, a grill is available on the deck.

The primary en suite bedroom provides a serene space to get ready in the mornings. Hop into the impressive jetted tub when you need to unwind. Rest assured that all your family members will be content with their room's soft linens and homey fixtures.

The house was okay. A bit worn and in need of updating- many things were broken, like the dishwasher. While the bedding and towels were clean, it was clear the floors had not been vacuumed and there was no vacuum or broom. The property owners/managers did not respond to my request for a vacuum or to the information that a bear had taken and destroyed the outside garbage can.I think the property has potential but recommend they make sure the housekeeping is properly done and updated.

Family time IS important

The home was very clean and modern. The amenities listed were actually provided... although having a great chef in our family, the kitchen didn't really knock her for a loop as listed...but we are very thankful for the provided cookware. (we could've brought an immersion blender though) The family had personal time and a lot of active fun with Air Hockey, Ping-Pong AND indoor Basketball. We had enough space for a young family of eight to be and pray together. Nearby Mirror Lake was a nice swim and brief picnic... just too far to walk to. The surprising requirement of taking our shoes off upon entering the home...is a nice habit we kept from home too. Linens and modern washer/dryer were very helpful...a lot like home. Polar Caves was nearby and a great adventure Echo lake and Franconia Notch were a big attraction for our family. With a driveway that steep and with such a sharp turn... I wonder how guests access in winter... you'll NEED a JEEP! We are very grateful for sharing your home, enough to repeat if ever we can afford it... this was pricey for us, but we did like it a lot.

A beautiful home in a great area.

The house is perfect for 12 people. Sleeping arrangements were great. The local lake is great for swimming and relaxing. It's a close drive to Lincoln, and Franconia Notch. I strongly recommend this house and would love to return.

A beautiful house on beautiful property. It’s a perfect house to relax at, and to use as a base. Mirror Lake is great to spend an afternoon, and it is only a quick drive to Lincoln. Grills and kitchen worked great for meals, sleeping arrangements are comfortable. Would happily return.

The range was covered in grease, being a fire hazard. Whenever heating up a burner, even if without food, caused some smoke to rise and set off the fire alarms. The downstairs tub cold water did not work, causing only hot water to fill the tub. Upstairs sink drains slowly. Grill drip pan and supports were broken. This caused the grill to heat up to over 800 degrees the first time we tried it, without any food on grill, and with grill gas supplies turned off and top closed. The management company did not come by during entire stay, even when called on day one. All we wanted them to do was replace a couple of lightbulbs in the light over the dining room table. They ‘created a ticket’, and we never saw them, even after multiple calls/contacts.Even with all these issues, we still enjoyed our stay. We had two families of four, one family of two, and one additional adult. We enjoyed the table tennis, air hockey, and indoor basketball games in the basement.

Awesome place to spend your vacation

The house we stayed was clean, ready on time and so wonderful to stay. One of the best place to spend your vacation. Mirror lake which is nearby is a beautiful place to witness during fall time.

Property was not guest ready

Upon arrival things were looking pretty sweet, the location was perfect. Once we entered the home it had a very musty smell and so humid we immediately started to bead sweat on our foreheads. We opened the curtains to the back porch to find an enourmous amount of trash left, the trash can in the kitchen full and the out door trash barrel by the shed full. We went to toss our trash away and realized there was bo trash bags, so we had to empry the kitchen trash can into the outside barrel without a trash bag. We had ONE roll of toliet paper and no paper towels. We made a trip into town to buy toliet papwr, paper towels and trash bags. The floor was disgusting. It has rocks and food left everywhere. We also were funding both live and dead bugs throughout the house, along as slapped bugs and the residue from them left on the walls. The house itself was beautifully done, but AC should be considered forntour gyest it absolutely made the stay almost unbearable with the humidity. We would most likely not return just for the reasons listed above, we paid a pretty good amount of money for a 3 night stay to have to run into town find a store and purchse items that were supposed to be there and to sweep and clean up certain areas. Was not what we expected.

Thanksgiving getaway

Decided to take my family away for the weekend and booked about 2-3 weeks prior. Randomly came across this home and saw it was near places we could go hiking with our 3 young kids, and we could also bring our dog. Once arriving we fell in love. The temperature was set by the cleaning staff to a comfortable level for us on a 20 degree temp outside arrival. The house was pristine in cleanliness and has everything you need. My mother-in-law is in love with the fireplace and the kids loved their room. Totally forgot about the game room until our last morning so that kept the kids busy for a bit. We will gladly come back here again!

Perfect house for our girls weekend. Very private location! Comfortable beds and pillows. Loved the open concept kitchen dining room and living room. Appliances need to serviced but guest services responded immediately when I reported an issue. Needs a few things for the kitchen like mixing bowls and new pans, but we made do!

Perfect vacation home

Love the location of this vacation home. plenty of room for kids to play around, and private quiet location to escape from the city. Especially love the free kayaks and the lake nearby😊
